    Thanks for creating these video. I'm buying the exact same bike in a week or so, same high level Termi system from a seller here in the UK. So your videos have been a great source, getting to know the bike and particularly how it sounds with the Termi. The side bag and rack is definately something I'll do/need. Can I ask what mirrors you use, they look so much better than the stock ones! Thanks in advance. Nige

    Hey there I really love what you’ve done with the sled. I’ve had mine for about a year and I’m trying to work out exactly what you’ve done with the wheels there.
    Did you leave the rear wheel as stock but just add the chunkier Shinko tyre?
    Also did Dubyausa make the whole wheel or did they add some beef to the stock one making it 21inches?
    Would really appreciate the response!

  • @MarioGaito
    @MarioGaito ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Thanks for the vid! How much do you think you've added to the seat height with the 21" front wheel and taller rear tire? And what effect to on-road handling has the new front had? Thanks, and keep riding!

    • @BeemerDuc
      @BeemerDuc  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Mario! It Doesn’t feel much taller since I still have a 17 inch rear tire. Also the handling is barely worse on the road. I don’t see any real downsides to adding the 21 inch rim unless you only ride on the street 👍

    Thank you for your unexcited videos. I like to look at them and enjoy nature and of course the bike. I also have a 2021 Desert Sled. I also prefer the higher exhaust. Here in Germany, however, only one version of the Termignoni exhaust is available for the normal Scrambler. would you perhaps have a model number of your exhaust, thank you in advance and I look forward to new videos with you and your machine.

    Hi InvestoMoto, great walkaround. I have recently purchased the same high mount exhaust for my '22 sled. It's enroute now, and I'm wondering - did you need any additional brackets to enable fitment? I've read on some forums that an additional bracket kit (SKU 96481371A) is necessary? Happy trails 🙂

  • @Blockbuster2033
    @Blockbuster2033 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I do wonder, why didn't you go with an 18' rear? Many people have done it before, without lengthening the swingarm. A 150 wide tire won't fit, but a 140 will, and since you switched to a narrower rim with a 140 tire anyway, you could have gone with an 18'.

    • @BeemerDuc
      @BeemerDuc  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Unfortunately you have to cut into the stock swing arm which I wasn’t ready to do. 18inch is too big for it based on the pictures I’ve seen from people who have done it. 18 would have been nice.

    • @Blockbuster2033
      @Blockbuster2033 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@BeemerDuc Hm I was pretty sure it would fit, but you have the bike, so I'll have to believe you haha. Still deciding between getting a Desert Sled and then doing a 21/18 conversion, or just straight up a Tenere 700 extreme edition.

    • @BeemerDuc
      @BeemerDuc  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Blockbuster2033 haha. Man I love this sled with the mods I’ve done. It’s also smaller in dimensions than the t7 which I like. Tenere is the better bike tho in my opinion.

    • @Blockbuster2033
      @Blockbuster2033 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BeemerDuc Yeah, but a Tenere is not much bigger either. It mostly just looks bigger because of the fairing. You are 100% correct tho, the T7 is objectively a much better bike, but the sled is just "special". It looks much better and it's much more rare.

    • @Blockbuster2033
      @Blockbuster2033 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BeemerDuc Since I'm honestly not convinced that it is not possible, I did some calculations: If you'd go from a 140/80-17 to a 140/80-18, the tire radius increases almost exactly by 2/3 of an inch (or 17mm), while the width and profile stays the same. So if you measure directly outwards radially from any point of the tire, and there is at least 2/3 of an inch of space, then an 18" rear would fit.
