Scrambler Ducati was excited to partner with Fasthouse riders Ricky Diaz and Jordan Graham to take on the toughest desert race in North America, The Mint 400. Film by: www.fasthouse.com
Malcolm smith in there at the finish. Perfect tribute to the pioneers. Shout out to Ducati for racing the desert sled and the pikes peak multistrada. I’m betting that they had the most comfortable Dirtbike seat at the mint 400
Ducati should offer a Desert Sled R model, with 12 inches of travel 21,18 wheels, aluminum tank and more top end power. They would sell before hitting the show room. I know I would order one.
I can't be the only one picking up on the fear and loathing vibes am I? As soon as we get a bigger house to house the kiddies, this is my next purchase, been wanting one for a while now.
Hey guys how's it going I love the vid I've raced a few of the most roughest desert races in Australia. Doing on these sorts of bike's be knarly as FK. Bu fun as FK at the same time you know what I mean if you ride for the love of it. Hang off the back of it fellas cheers 🍻🤠
For what I can see: Sprockets are changed, rims and tyres. Also from the triple clamp up is all changed, with raisers and some flex bars as well as bark busters. Also a sump guard and I would assume the suspension has been tweaked as well. And mey be enven a different air filter and tune, since it has one of the opcianal exhausts. And of course, licenseplate and all the road legal stuff has been removed.
Love to know if they kept the standard size 19 wheel or went for 21 inch. I can see they changed the rims but can't make out if they went up on the front?
You have any clearance issues with the front wheel? When I compress mine there’s barely and inch and a quarter off the cylinder head. I want to go 21” but it looks too tight.... how did you do it?
3:39 would have been a perfect time to slap a sexy ass profile shot that lasted a few seconds. That opening sequence was a gentle tease to what the bike looked like. Fancy shots are great but sometimes we just want to see the bike. Amazing video!
Only in America where everything is made into a competition. Some things are meant to just be enjoyed. Poor capitalists cant find peace in their souls.
Hey, we swapped exhaust, wheels, suspension, ECU, and look how that bike is awesome. So go and buy it! You can do the same (almost 8))! Let's be honest that bike is almost the same as the first Multistrada 620-1100 but more hipsterish. 80/20 road/dirt 200+kg. But it lacks a windshield.
Sled Till Dead didnt sound angry to me just stating the facts. This is mpre promotional video than anything. I am a ducati owner stopped by to view the bikes. Know the mint 400 well. I am 63 yrs old and one of my best friends is good friends with malcom smith
Narration sound way too low (whispered) vs. music. Hard to understand what is being said. Unfortunate for a professional production! You need to fire your sound mixer.
I own a Scrambler Desert Sled and watching this makes me so damn proud ! Love you Ducati ♥
livin the dream that’s my dream bike

That cameo of Malcolm Smith made the film. Thank you!
Mods for this Scrambler include a golden lens flare generator and reverb guitar riff exhaust
One of the sleeper short films on the web. Really enjoyed it. See you next year.
The shots and editing was incredible.
Well done ducati. Beautiful camera work
That's the type of bike that is so well designes it's hard to get the image out of your head.
what an awesome production!
Fantastic filming, listening to bikes sounds would be much fun than music, great job
Thanks for sharing this! To have Carlin Dunne narrating over some of the sequence was a great touch! 5!
Great job sharing the stoke of off-road racing!
That was such a great video!🔥
Awesome, I’m smiling more than you guys are.

It would be nice if they had the 821 engine in there.
Google Ducati Desert X

My man Malcom in there at the finish line!!!
Love Fast House
What’s some of the specs, changes/additions to the bike? What was needed to get the bike ready for such a gruelling race?
Suspension and sump guard at the least.
Bikeexif has a good article on all the modifications just posted recently. www.bikeexif.com/ducati-desert-sled-build

Dream bike, those things are so sick
This is my dream bike, but love my current bike too.
Reminds me of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Looks like they put different forks an may have changed the rake angle

Ricky What are the boots you have on in the van ? thx
Sorry Man JK - Good video! For what seems to be a heavier bike, you were flyin!
What is the song at 5:30?
This video is like an attempt to be the finke there and back movie

No testing before the race .??????
Reminds Steve McQueen
All is good when listening to mr Tom Jones
Damn. Bet I could do that on my KLR650 with double the time! Lol
10 minutes of non-stop advertisement - oh my...
Only in America where everything is made into a competition. Some things are meant to just be enjoyed. Poor capitalists cant find peace in their souls.
The rear dampening on those bikes must be completely crappy.
What is FastHouse? Is it a club or an apparel line?
www.fasthouseuk.com/
Off-road / motocross & mountain bike clothes....I had to look it up...California based ...
qualcuno mi sa dire cortesemente se la DESERT SLED la faranno anche nel 2024 e quali colori?
Malcom Smith 9:33 a fucking legend!
Very nice video...except for the annoying music. I wanted to hear the roar of the 'cati engine.

Probably wouldn't be my first second or third choice for racing in the desert
64maxpower promotional video
Why would a channel like this hide subscriber numbers? That's not how you grow
These two guys look like Ernie Vigil / Nick Apex knock offs.

Am I the only one who thought the narration was cringe? Otherwise this was a great little edit/advert.
It's a throwback to Dust to Glory. Actually a very nice touch and not cringy imo.
soooo gonzoooo
Someone tell mark freeman 408 he needs this in his life.
Last time I read about the Mint 400 the author just wrote about doing a bunch of mescaline and babbling about the American dream...
There’s no desert in southern England.......
We'd use the long long beaches in New Zealand to top out on our dirt bikes, and dirt biking in the UK sucks donkey imho
You could just close your eyes and pretend?
It's kind of disingenuous to say you competed in the mint 400 when that hipster class only does 160 mi. Cool video though
Why are you so angry and spiteful?
Cuz thats people today man. Whiney.
Sled Till Dead I mean it’s just how you take it. It’s like saying you ran a 401k but only the last little bit.
Sled Till Dead didnt sound angry to me just stating the facts. This is mpre promotional video than anything. I am a ducati owner stopped by to view the bikes. Know the mint 400 well. I am 63 yrs old and one of my best friends is good friends with malcom smith
lost interest I wanted a descent look at the bike.
che cacata
Rip spine =]
Bro straight to the chiropractor after that race.
I see what Ducati was doing. But fasthouse with there hipster bullshit
