Well I am proud of myself that i did it. Usually I can keep up with you Pj but today I was behind , but I completed the reps. Hey I am in my mid 60’s so I think that is pretty awesome!
Woo hooo! I read other people’s comments before doing this so knew I had to go in with my A game for this one! 😂 I’m not a cardio fan and I can be a bit ‘lack lustre’ sometimes on cardio sessions, BUT I am so thrilled with myself… I went in swinging, did all 5 rounds of 20 air squats and I actually jumped all 20 lunges every set!!! Although I’ve been working out with PJ exclusively for nearly 2 years now, I’ve been a patreon member using PJ’s calendars for a year and oh my goodness I can tell you it makes a HUGE difference training to a proper program! I am most certainly feeling the benefits! Thank you as always PJ❤
Today is Friday, and I feel like the programming for this week has given extra-special attention to the legs, for which I am grateful! My neighbor ( age 78) fractured his hip yesterday. Sad news for him and his family, but also a reminder to me of the importance of these daily workouts! Strength, balance, agility, flexibility, functional fitness. Thanks, PJ! I appreciate you!❤
Day 6 done! So that was 50 burpees (not so bad with the BOSU), 100 squats (oh my burnin' buns!), 50 push ups (arms are starting to look nicely defined), 75 butterfly crunches (I like those), and 100 jump lunges (which, strangely enough, I enjoyed as well). I'd say this is one serious workout! It's probably a good thing I didn't do the math until I finished the workout ;) Loved the stretches at the end too! Thanks for another excellent workout PJ!
Excellently evil! I was so happy when Raya (my dog) interfered with the butterflies in round three! Don’t worry, i cuddled and kept going! Push up perfection training is really working! THANKS PJ!
Another amazing workout. I have a love/hate of EMOM and this one was especially tough. Surprisingly I struggled the most with those butterfly crunches 😂. Really loving this challenge ❤

I am loving this challenge! I did 30 pushups! Two rounds were with dumbbells - but this is definitely progress! Before this challenge I would have opted to not do any pushups. I’m glad I now know the proper form.

Between a sprained ankle and illness I haven’t done much intense exercise in the last couple of weeks (why I’m so far behind in this amazing challenge). This was an awesome workout to do getting back into things because of all of the rest time between exercises.

Wowza! I just did that! Another great workout for a hotel room since I didn't need any equipment. Thankful for this sturdy padded bench at the bottom of the hotel bed. Perfect for the modified burpees and the 50 pushups! I crushed those butterfly crunches. I love EMOM cardio.

Whew - was really pressed for time today but pushed play anyway. I actually like burpees and lunges so this one was good! I still can only do good looking pushups from my knees, but that was 50 more than I would have done otherwise - right? Did max count on everything and had to sub on the crunches because of osteopenia. All good. Thanks PJ 💜

Ok, after doing chest presses the first round I bit the bullet and did push-ups the rest of the workout 😆 First on the chair, then the last 3 rounds on the BOSU ball. It was tough, but I got them done! ✅

I was sooo behind on this challenge due to life getting in the way 😂, so I went back and started again from Day 1 😅 ("hope to finish the challenge by the end of June so that I'll be back on track for the July calendar). Wow, this was a tough EMOM! 5 rounds! But I managed to get it done in good form (even the pushups, woohoo!). Day 6, done!
Loved the challenge but the kind and gentle encouraging words at the beginning of the stretch dropped right as my mind started to flood with negative thoughts of how I could have done this that and the other thing better.😢 Rearranging the mindset of the generation brought up in diet culture is no easy task, is it?! Anyhoo getting back on track, that was an awesome workout! ❤
Loved it. Would have preferred to add an extra three exercises and one less round but that's just me. It's a personal problem...don't know why but I can't seem to finish all rounds when we do it more than 3 times..Unless it's weights. It was awesome

I did okay today: 136 bpm max. 20 air squats. 2 sets pushups, 3 sets chest press with 15#. Raised the ground with yoga blocks for the burpees, with a kind of step-hop in and out. 20 lunge jumps without the jump. Plank with knee tap. Having so many options makes the workout doable and still challenging. Thanks, PJ!❤

I really like EMOM cardio. I have 2 questions: 1. So, are you still in Ireland? 2. I tend to be a little competitive so I’m wondering if I’m the oldest here (79)? I would love to communicate with anyone who is in my age range to see if I’m keeping up. I can easily do squats, weights, modified lunges, burpees, etc. Where I can feel my age is getting up and down without props, balancing on the Bosu ball, and things like that. I really don’t want to compete with anyone, except maybe PJ😅

Too much rest, thank goodness for fast forward. I wouldn't want to do more reps because I know you have just the right amount programmed to keep me uninjured, but wanted to let you know that was a lot of rest between exercises.
It’s an EMOM, so the quicker you finish the longer rest you have 😂 Perhaps try the advanced version of the moves in the future.
