Why did Jesus turn away an eager young man who ran to Him, fell at His feet, and asked for the plan of Salvation?
Is Christ's pathway to Heaven a bit different than the one we hear spread around today by many?
What was Jesus saying about riches, pride, and the narrow pathway to Heaven?

If there was ever a BIBLE teacher i would support,this is the teacher that i really enjoy learning the bible from,THANKS for preaching here on youtube, my reading comprehension is slow, though reading your BIBLE study vidios REALLY HELPS.MANY. I am from eastern michigan , grew up in waterford michigan.I am retired poor, as my little ssa check go no ware.
I always get something out of your videos! The hard part about this one is finding what are some good options to give. That’s not so easy!

Try impossible!
It took a loving God that gave His only begotten Son to live on earth as the world’s only perfect human.
Jesus was His name and even though being sinless He bore our sins on an old rugged cross, died and was resurrected to the right hand side of His Father in heaven.
Jesus assured those of us that have trusted only in Him will live with Him forever.
I’m looking for Jesus to return to us in the clouds and call His saint’s unto Himself very soon.
How hard is it for a man to get to heaven?
Impossible for an unsaved mortal.
Wonderfully certain for the ones accepting His free gift by realising we are all sinners saved by grace to them that love the Lord.
Let’s do this.
Luke.13:23-24 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? (Here his talking about salvation) And he said unto them, strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able” many not a few. Because they only seek, and do not strive; they wish for heaven, but will not abandon earth. The word strive means “to agonize, labor fervently, or “struggle. They made no strong, vigorous efforts of repentant. Theirs was no life of stern self-surrender, of painful self-sacrifice. The only way to get into the kingdom is to be convicted of sin and true repentance. Jesus said “I come not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” Luke 5:32. In order to come to God, we must repent; in order to renounce our sin, we must first acknowledge them. Repentance implies sorrow for sin as committed against God, along with a purpose to forsake it. True Christianity demands that he should at once surrender himself to God by genuine repentance; by confession that God is right and that he is wrong; and by a firm purpose to live a life of holiness.
It's not hard just look at what happened to Jesus what he went through also the 12 disciples also the prophets He never said it was going to be easy he said just have faith and believe
I think that entirely depends upon the perception of each individual. And yours appears to be very comfortable.
The Lord also said to repent!

It's so hard that it's impossible. That's why you can only get there with faith in God who does impossible.
@@TheFightingSheep That's what I am talking about it's all about FAITH TRUSTING GOD Just think about Daniel when he was thrown in the lion's den That was faith and trust in God How about the 3 brothers that were thrown in the furnace That was faith and trust in God But remember let's not be like Peter he walked on water but when the storm came he sunk he took his eyes off with Jesus So whatever we have to go through focus on him and we will go through it like he did Remember what Jesus said Philippians chapter 4 verse 13 , Thank you brother God bless you and your family and I will see you in the new Jerusalem
getting to heaven is as easy as opening a door.......God says all one needs to do is to believe on him who he sent...also the bible says that in the book of John over 80 times to only believe......or the bible says to call upon the name of the lord....and that takes about less than one minute.....but for discipleship that is mans efforts after salvation which lasts a lifetime....
Those who think it's easy will have the shock of their life.
@@TheFightingSheep since scripture says the gospel should be as easy so a child can understand then thats pretty easy plus since jesus has already paid the price in full and the only thing God expects one to do is to accept the free gift of salvation is to believe and recieve....a gift requires nothing from the person recieving except they take the gift based on faith alone in christ alone..again its after for discipleship that is not easy but also the thief on the cross made heaven and what did he do..only believe and nothing more....

Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”......Salvation is not the result of what we do, but is by receiving what God has done for us. Acts 13:38, 39; Acts 20:20: Gal. 1:8,9; Gal. 2:4; Gal. 2:21; Gal. 3:1.3; Gal. 5:1-4; Eph. 2:8-10; II Cor. 5:21;John 3:16-18; Phil. 3:9; Titus 3:5-8:11 Cor. 11:13-1 5.
Repentance is “a change of mind” about what I want to do to get to Heaven, to what God says I must do to get to Heaven. Hebrews 6:1 speaks about repentance from DEAD WORKS. To be saved, you must realize that you are a hopelessly guilty sinner, totally incapable of saving yourself, and then completely REST in Christ Who died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and resurrected from the dead after three days. This is God's plan of salvation
If you believe that Jesus Christ is Almighty God (John 10:33; Colossians 2:9), who came in the flesh in the form of a man (John 1:1,14; 1st Timothy 3:16), born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14), to atone for our sins with His precious blood (1st Peter 1:18,19), then you have seen the true Savior. John 6:40 says that God's will is for us to BELIEVE upon the Son.....The word “Gospel” itself means “Good News.” There is no need to guess what “the Gospel” (or Good News) is, because the Bible plainly tells us:
1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
There you have it! Christ DIED on the cross for our sins, He was BURIED, and He bodily RESURRECTED from the dead 72 hours later. That is “the Gospel,” which the Word of God calls, “the simplicity that is in Christ” (2nd Corinthians 11:3). If you admit that you are a guilty sinner in God's sight, and accept Christ's sacrifice on the cross as full-payment for your sins, believing that He raised up from the dead three days later, you are saved. That's easy and simple! We are saved by BELIEVING! John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.”
@@promaster1351 The scriptures say it's simple, but never easy. Just like dying, very simple.
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
I was watching someone who mention the apostles and I got to wondering if you would do a teaching on the apostles?
Your insite on things and the background knowledge of history intrigues me and makes me want to learn about things I never thought about before. One day I was praying and ask Father to send me someone that teaches the word

@@andrewlinn7863 the esv is the evil satanic version for saying that it’s hard. Christ literally said it’s as easy as walking through a door, eating a piece of bread or drinking a cup of water. Discipleship on the other hand is hard and requires work.

Getting to heaven is absolutely impossible. Nobody could ever get there without almighty God who does the impossible. And only if you have a superhuman faith in this God of impossible. But even that kind of faith is impossible unless God gives it to you.

Born again believers have the imputed righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ. The righteous that Peter speaks of are those who make it through Daniel's 70th week a.k.a. the 7 Year Tribulation. Not a lot of people are expected to make it through that 7 year stretch. God bless!! 🙂

How will there be 7 years when Christ said the last day is the resurrection? It shows secret pre-trip rapture is anti-christ!
The rich young ruler story, as well as Nicodemus in Jn 3 is not about heaven or hell, it is about being counted as worthy to enter the KOH/KOG. Heaven is a place and we can not inherit salvation/justification/called/gift/past tense/OSAS. John 3.3 says those Spirit reborn can only SEE the kingdom contrasted to Jn 3.5 one must begin sanctification to enter the kingdom. The rich young ruler wanted to enter the kingdom through justification, but Acts 20.32/26.18 says it is through sanctification that we inherit salvation. Scripture is about soul salvation (1 Pt 1.9, James 1.21, Hebrews 10/39) and very little about justification.

You may think heaven is a fiction...but you'll soon find out that hell is real. Repent...the Lord returns soon. Save yourself.
