- This is an adventure of me, my wife and son living aboard our Grady White Gulfstream for three days and two nights in historic Apalachiacola. It's different than the normal educational fishing videos, but it was ALOT of fun to make and I hope you enjoy! We show you what we did to make it all work, and show you our adventures in this historic town full of shops, art galleries, wonderful restaurants and more! Love Grady White boats! God bless you guys and thanks for making these videos.
Yes great boats. My dad had a sailfish and then a Marlin. Glad you enjoy and thanks for watching!
I love heading down there. We're about 2 hours north of there in south Ga. Been to the Raw Bar and had great food. Be safe on the water. Thank you for a great show.
Yeah, great place to spend the weekend! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching!
I have learned so much about bottom fishing techniques and appreciate your dedication. Just made my first chicken rig. I have a place on SGI about .5 mile from the Bob Sykes Cut.
So glad to hear! Once you get those basics down its really simple fishing, and so effective. A little jealous of you with a place on St George Island! A lot of great memories over there! Thanks for watching!!!
Great family content! Thank you and blessings!!!
Thanks! Definitely a blast to record and edit! Thanks for watching!
Great video! You now have a new subscriber...
Awesome!!! Glad you liked the video and thanks for watching!!!
Great video! I have the same boat. 2006 232 that I repowered in 2019 with twin Suzuki 200's. I can't think of a better way to spend some quality time with the family!
For sure! These are great boats! As you know! We have been anxious to try spending the night and it was good to figure it out on this trip. Thanks for watching!
Looked like a great time! Making awesome family memories. Really nice boat and cool town. New subscriber from southeast Louisiana!
Awesome thanks! I used to live in Jackson MS and then in Bay St Louis MS and fished your marshes a lot when I was younger! Incredible fishing!
@@forgottencoastfishing Love being on the water and fishing! Great man!
Great Tour of Apalachicola !!! I was wondering if Boss Oyster still open when i come down from Maryland we always stop there for dinner.. Thanks again...
No it’s closed. I didn’t walk down that far and look at it, but I think you can catch a glimpse next to that hotel I show towards the end. Glad you enjoyed the video! We had a great time!
Great video! I am considering buying a 232. Seeing you with your family really drives home the boat's versatility. I really like the idea of having the Bimini-style cover over the cockpit. Did you have that custom-made, or is it a Grady White option?
Thanks! Yeah I love this boat. Big enough for offshore, but small enough for me to handle by myself and not too bad on the fuel bill. That extra fold down 3rd bunk was one of the other reasons we got this boat. Most boats that size only have the two person v-berth. I think that Bimini top was a Grady option. It was on the boat when we got it. Be glad to answer anything else if you think of something. Thanks for watching!!!
@@forgottencoastfishing I am going to the Grady dealership on Wednesday to look at the 232 and Adventure 218. I am sure I will have more questions and may contact you. Keep the videos coming. ✌
Where the railroad crosses the river is a heck of a fishing spot
I wondered that! For what? I was wondering if sheepshead come up that far?
@@forgottencoastfishing sheepshead
@@forgottencoastfishing I have the store in white city,I sell live shrimp to guys that fish there . Jan Feb if the river is not high , they will be biting. Good spot for stripped bass too
@@centralscrutinizer76 Awesome! Thanks. I’ll be seeing you to give that a try!
Keep up the good content.! Nice to see the whole family finding enjoyment with the boating/fishing interest.
Thanks! Yes this was a fun one to make. I wasn’t sure how it would be received since it’s different from the normal videos I do, so glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome
Thanks! Good times!
I like your videos... so nice to see you spending time with the family. I especially like the catch clean and cooks. Would love to see you do a grunt and grits catch and cook video or maybe some of the less desirable fish. Every one always does catch and cooks with the same types of fish... which gets boring. No fancy recipe required, just a change. Anyways, keep putting out the videos and we will keep watching 😊
Thanks! Yeah we had a great time, definitely one of my favorite videos to shoot and edit. Agree with you on the catch and cooks! I try to come up with unique but easy recipes and try to use the lesser known fish when I can, and glad to know you enjoy that as well! I did a grits and grunt recipe a while back which was probably one of the best on the channel. I also did a porgy catch an cook also. Here’s the links if you want to check them out.

I have a 2000 Gulfstream and seeing your video was a great inspiration to sleep on ours !! Keep the videos coming!
Thanks! Shoot me a comment on how it goes!! We had a blast. Once the nights start to cool again we plan on doing some more over nighters!
Awesome adventure.
Thanks! Great time! Figuring out our next marina to visit!
SMTTT!!! Annnnnnd geaux tigers. 😁
For sure!!! I was hoping a fellow golden eagle would catch that! Thanks for watching!
God love you as parents and as caregivers for Steven. I know how hard it is for a special needs child.
Thanks! Definitely has daily challenges, but he helps put this life in perspective! Thanks for watching!!!
Unfortunately Georgia cut off the flow to the river and ruined the area
Yeah. I noticed there weren’t any oyster boats in the areas I used to see them. 😖
I know it’s not our business but I keep guessing you’re a Dentist for some odd reason.
No, musician actually. Guitarist. My wife and I have a music and dance school which allows me the time to do this channel. But funny you think that since before I switched to being a music major in college I was in the pre-dental program. But didn’t last long! Thanks for watching!
@@forgottencoastfishing whoa! I would have never guessed musician! Cheers to the success of the channel
@@moblack5883 Thanks!!!
