Its NOT supposed to be exciting I'm Latvian and had several relatives murdered at the hands of Stalin and his cronies and its ABSOLUTELY DISRESPECTFUL TO THOSE WHO SUFFERED AND HAD FAMILY MURDERED IN ESTONIA LATVIA AND LITHUANIA
I stayed in that hotel for two weeks in 1985, and we would dismiss one of the people in our group who kept saying "the walls have ears" and that we were being watched. I guess he was right.
I went with my wife and daughter in August 2020. Actually had an interesting time. Reasons (IMHO) 1) The tour guide was actually engaging. 2) My wife was grew up in Tallinn (born in 1981) and added little titbits about living there during Soviet times. 3) It was covid time so not busy at all. Perhaps it has improved over the years.
Thanks for saving us the time and money. We opted to walk around tallinn instead. The museum of the occupation seemed interesting, but it's currently closed for renovation
seem to me it was same, however we had a way better guide, seemed like she was actaully intrested in what she was saying, cant think of anything else. that had change
Yeah, they even had a few jokes here and there. (they were kinda bad, but they tried atleast) She was also asked alot of other questions about the history/people that had worked there (at the hotel during sovet era) and she knew her stuff. And there is really nothing else they can improve now. I mean it was 2 rooms, after all.

Must have been weird to think back and wonder how much they would have seen!

You made a good decision! :)
i was there today, and what else do u think there is really to show? and then again its 11euro..
+mango chili you went today? Post seeing the incredibly boring video of the tour I made? :) had the tour improved in the last month+?

changed*
Maybe they saw the video - and realised they need a new tour guide! Either way I hope the new and improved one made the 11 euros better value?

It is not so much there cause all of it was highly classified, and is probably today also.
I'm visiting The Baltic States in the next few weeks but I am not visiting the KGB Snoozeum. Thanks for the bullet swerve.
Welcome - I wanted it to be interesting :(
Sadly it wasn’t
I think my brain went to sleep watching this!
+DiamondFilms well it's the worst museum in the world - I'm glad I could bring that across to you :)
