Tbh combined with the drivers this is probably the best multi tool for an IT technician (for its size) and man have I been looking far and wide thanks for the great video
Just ordered one mysef. I was originally going for the Flex due to the Tshank adapter, but was delighted seeing this thing with those scissors on a light weight mini tool
I've been collecting victorinox and leatherman for years. I love the roxon and have about seven already. And actually the roxon spark actually became my edc, beating out the leatherman surge just because how nice it feels to hold.
Roxon is really good at designing multi tools. They have their own flair so they don't just copy from American brands which I like. I just wish they used better materials.
i just received my M2. Seems to me the tools in it do not dangle or coming loose like yours. material is stated as 5cr15Mov for the scissor and 420J1 and 420J2 on the box but the little manual stated 3cr and 2cr. maybe roxon improved on the material. Anyway, its pretty handy and muc smaller than i expected. Pretty good overall and value for money
Thanks for the review! Just got my M2. I agree, it's not as robust as my LMN Surge... But on a Keychain it's amazing, and the scissors are huge (much bigger than the ones on the Surge, which are considered big compared to other large size multitools). Looks like a winner to me. I hook my M2 through the hole in the clip.
Hello, i have question i live in Germany and law here is ridiculous that i cannot carry multitool that is 1h what i mean is that i can open knife with 1h. I need to have it in a closed tool box or bag/backpack also closed, as i want something on my belt or pocket i need multitool and a knife that is not 1h open like Leatherman rebar for example or victorinox sak. Do you know any multitools like those but more budget friendly and knifes? I bought bibury pro which is a daicamping dl30 love it but can have it only hide and closed. I was thinking about roxon m2,m3 or nextool mini sailor, or gerber, sog power but don't know any knifes that needs 2 hands to open can recommend something. Thank you love this channel because of it i bought my 1 multitool.
@@markreilly6912 There are several options for you. Leatherman has a universal adapter that fits on the Bonds Phillips screwdriver and takes 1/4 or can use Leatherman bits. Gerber has an adapter and bit set that also works on the same driver for $30. Or many Chinese multi tools come with adapters and bits and these usually fit on the Leatherman Phillips driver like the Bond has.
@@hvacbudget8600 do you know of any Chinese company bit sets that you can buy without having to buy the multitool (and are compatible with the bond)? Also thank you so much for all your help, your videos are fantastic and provide great info about multitools
@@markreilly6912 The Maerd bit set P6 P11(I think it's listed in my Amazon store in my recent videos) is the only stand alone set I've seen $19. Sometimes it's almost cheaper to buy a whole tool for the bits. The NexTool Sailor Pro is usually pretty cheap good tool and comes with a bit and adapter set $28. Gerber Bit set $26. Thanks for watching!
@@hvacbudget8600 thanks for the reply. I mean the black part around it. I believe it’s plastic. In the website, it says that the tool contains Nylon, so I guess there is that :) thanks again for the amazing video!
How does this compare to the nextool flagship mini? roxon and nextool make things with the exact same set of tool to eachother, but slightly different design
Roxon all day. It's half the price and has great scissors. It's got lightweight 4mm bits instead of 1/4" bits which are much bulkier. Why would anyone carry around a tiny multitool and 1/4" bits???? Most sane people would want a larger tool for the 1/4" bits because they want more capability and better grip.
Great review! Does it feel less flimsy than the PowerPoint? I was rather disappointed by the PowerPint’s overall quality. Of course I appreciate the price tag justifies it, but I was wondering how it compares to the PowerPint for you personally?
Still using Gerber Suspension, decent scissors. Bought leather case. Handy here at high mountain desert forest plateau hideout NM. Roxon appears too small for ranch work.
Why did leatherman discontinue the squirt and the juice. Utterly stupid and baffling. Oh well, other companies swooped in to fill the void left by leatherman. nextool flagship mini pro to replace the squirt ps4 and looks like maybe roxon m2 to replace the juice s2.
Yeah, Roxon is a budget tool, with budget materials, but the scissors stand alone as far as their design goes. Imagine if that scissor design was made of high quality materials with a serious construction process.
Indeed those scissors are amazing. I really like this design. If Roxon and even the True Utility TTI multi tool were made better the top multi tool brands would need to step up their game!
The loose tools as you pull them open is a good thing. Makes it easy to open.

Great! Glad to help. Be sure to check out my video on the NexTool Gemini. With it's built in 4mm cordless driver, it might be useful as well.
Just ordered one mysef.

@@MyMomSaysImKeen Very cool!
I have 2 of these. It’s not normal that the tools are wobbly when you take them out. The bits either need to be tightened or you have a faulty one.

It is great!
The scissors look like a great feature. Very interesting design along with other Roxon products.

Damn. Right into the sweet spot of the Power Pint size range. I may have to buy this one. Thanks for the news.
You're welcome. It's scissors definitely destroy the SOG PowerPints!

Thanks so much for the kind words! So some of these might work-
SOG Powerlock
Gerber MP600
Gerber MP400
Nextool Gemini.
Will the bit set that is included with the roxon tools work with the screwdriver on the leatherman Bond?
No. This Roxon used 4mm bits.

Great review! is that plastic around the glass breaker? I see black materials.
Thanks! I'm not sure what the black on the glass breaker is, it looks like black painted metal

Not sure. I have the Nextool sailor pro and mini but not the flagship.
Nice review. Weird comment coming. Try to avoid saying that something “is going to have.” Just say that it has x and y. Active voice is always better.

Small version of Roxon S801s.. If you want a bigger one..
Roxon's better than SOG. Scissors are amazing! But.. the juice have it all. Wine cork, real flat screwdriver. Bring back the Juice @Leatherman

I believe both are made of similar grade metal. The Roxon might feel sturdier due to the geometrics of its blockier shape.
M3 - $19.99 on Amazon. (But shipping time on Amazon - 1-2 months?)
Is it on Amazon now? I only saw the M3. That would be amazing.
I see an M2 and an M3 on eBay (new) both coming from Virginia within 3 days. Check it out and see if it comes up for your search.

I suppose Leatherman would say slow sales. Usually that's how their spokespeople answer questions.
Or could be too much warranty claim?
Or warranty claim is higher than sales, i suppose
