These perfumes sound great! 😄 I just ordered the coconut milkshake bath and body works one. It sounds amazing. ❤ I have the Musamam White Intense and to me the smell reminds me a lot of cinnamon chewing gum. 😂 I get that smell more than anything. I do really like it though. I haven't been reaching for it during the spring/summer months... So for me this must be more of a fall/winter scent. 🤔

Wanted to tell you I ran into Victorias Secret the other day and picked up a few travel sprays for seven dollars each, the sales associate also said that beginning June 12 that all full size fragrances will be half off. She seemed to think that was happening because they will be discontinued so if that is true you may want to grab a backup of your favorites:))

I did the same because of your recommendation of the Bare line, and because I accidentally grabbed a roller ball, I went back to return it and got lucky because they had changed the sale and I got like two of sprays plus a third from the Tease line for less than ten bucks because of what I paid for the rollerball the day prior! But oh my God, even though the bare and bare magnolia both don't last too too long on me, they're still beautiful! Glad to hear this tip!
About Musamam White Intense, you are not the only one! I get a lot of spices too. Im also so uncertain about it. At times I decide to declutter but other times I feel like I am addicted to it. In my opinion it IS a summer perfume but you are right, somehow it’s very different from all the other summer perfumes we know. The spiciness reminds me of what I don’t like about gris charnel. Btw the dry down on clothes is a heavenly coconut.

I do ok with coco shimmy. I am a huge over sprayer though🙈🤣 I probably get about three or four hours of longevity which I don’t find too bad for a $60 perfume. If it was more expensive than I would expect it to last much longer.
Looooooove Sweet Tooth- I actually wore it on a blasted hot 6hr zoo trip and it was so cute, gave tiny little wafts here and there, and one of my friends said they could smell it and it was pretty! (I never get compliments.) I also like wearing it to bed. I just ordered the caramel one because I saw patchouli and that was all I needed to hear!
I’ve also worn KK Pure Honey in HOT weather and it’s perfect- it’s just a skin scent that wafts sweetly every once in a while, for hours in the hot weather.
Musamam… I feel like it’s all weather all occasions… but maybe better in warmer weather, surprisingly because it’s a bit thick. I belieeeeve I’ve worn like a tiny spritz far from my face with athleisure to run errands and walk the dog.
But I think my ultimate favorite for athleisure hanging in the hot weather is Emir Vibrant Vetiver.
I still haven’t tried the vibrant vetiver yet, but I would like to🤓🤓🤓 yes I completely agree with you. Wearing KK pure honey in hot weather makes it smells so so good.😋😋😋

I also get something strangely summery in Mussamam then the spices throw me off 😂. It’s not a love but it got me compliments lol. I think it can be worn now and in the fall.

I recently decluttered the By the Beach body spray and gave it to my cousin because I didn't get any of the salty vibes , just plain coconut, more like a coconut oil. I'd say that's the kind of coconut I don't like, that or like a coconut powder or coconut flour. My favourite of all these is Vanilla Vibes, it's a love for me! ❤❤ I also love Miami Nectar and I need to try Pure XS I've always wanted to smell it! 😍😍 xo

I grabbed Miami Nectar and I think it’s a tropical BR 540 vibe. Same kind of airy/creamy combo.
I definitely wasn’t expecting to like Miami nectar as much as I do, but I ended up picking up a full bottle because it’s just so perfect for the summertime🤓🤓🤓

I love Dolce Garden... frangipani, ylang ylang, tuberose and coconut with some white floral😊 I have Lattafa Shahd, although it doesn't have the coconut note, I swear it has big time Dolce Garden vibes..it's a tropical floral beauty that's really lasting😊

I love Musamam and I get what you mean because I blind bought it and I thought hmmm this is going to be very summer-y but it's actually not! Maybe it can be for summer NIGHTS when it's cooler and you're going out up to no good haha. I think it's the sexier perfume I own. I feel more comfortable using it during spring-fall otherwise can be a little cloying imho. And I actually think that's the beauty of it, because it's not obvious and that's why people love it so much. It has this wow, unexpected factor to it. It's one of my greatest surprises with middle eastern perfumes. Musamam and Infini Rose by Maison Alhambra btw
Jamie, forgot to also mention Affection Love by Lattafa. Soooo good! I think you own the pistacchio one from Paris Corner if I'm not mistaken, but I do recommend Affection Love for all the creamy scent lovers out there. Here in Brazil is very hard to find Kayali to try, but I bought this fragrance based on reviews that say it's a very good dupe (and better longevity), the bottle is hideous but I'm very happy with it! Def worth a try

Hi, Jamie! I love your videos! Musamam White Intense smells leathery to me. Do you pick that up at all? I haven't heard anyone else say this. I'm not sure if I'm imagining it because of the suggestive packaging? I don't pick up spices. I had to let it sit for a month, I only smelled sharp wood at first. Now the wood is in the background and i get sweet creamy coconut with a hint of leather. It is sexy to me, and I think it's beautiful and appropriate for all seasons, day and night. Have you tried Nuha from Khadlaj? It has similar notes to Qissa Pink. I want to try it! Thanks for sharing your work!

No, I don’t smell anything leathery with musamam but I don’t doubt you. Our body chemistries and our noses are also different and we can pick up on different things🤓🤓🤓

I’ve never been a big fan of coconut in my perfumes however when I was younger I loved the smell of Hawaiian tropic suntan lotion in dark brown bottle, have you ever smelled that one and if so which if these would be the closest to that scent. No, I have never smelt that one in particular, but I need to pick that up because it sounds like something something I would enjoy🤔😯 I’m reading up on it and it says that the Hawaiian tropic suntan lotion in the dark brown bottle has coconut oil mixed with passionfruit, papaya, mango, aloe, guava and eucalyptus. I don’t have any coconut perfumes with a eucalyptus. However, Yara Tous does have passionfruit, mango and coconut 🤔 I would say that’s probably the closest thing I have in my collection so far🤔 but I’ll keep searching for some more similar🤓

Great video :) my favorite coconut perfume doesn't even have any coconut in it, the new scandal absolu. It has tuberose, fig and sandalwood and all I can smell in the drydown is creamy coconut, love it!

I've heard nothing but good things. I own Pure XS, too! I get coconut and popcorn...love it! Quentin Bisch strikes again.😊 He can do no wrong in my book. If you want a great coconut Middle Eastern fragrance, try Nuha by Khadlaj. Only 25 € and it smells like piña coladas, sunshine and all the good things. Coconut, florals, vanilla and sandalwood. Really well blended, too.Khadlaj is quickly becoming one of my favorite ME houses.😊

😔 I hate the chemical sunscreen smell. I prefer a more coconut fruit or creamy coconut. Tresor Nude is fantastic! I think it’s discontinued, but it’s still floating around to grab.

I don't have that visual imagination about what would I be dressed like or where I would be, when I smell a perfume. Maybe because my mind is more into feelings and sounds, not visuals. I like perfume or don't. The attire or even the event doesn't matter. Only time when I think about what perfume I should wear, not based on feelings, is when I am going to the dentist or cosmetologist - somewhere where stranger will be close to me, so I don't want them to get a headache, if they are sensitive to scents.
I want to have the perfumes that I can wear year round (I have been wearing fruity scents like Escada summer limited edition fruity scents and D&G Imperatrice and DKNY Be delicous all year round, even in winter), but sometimes in fall or winter I fall for some frags that I love, but then comes summer and I find them to be too heavy. then comes winter again, but I cannot shake that sharper note that I have discovered in it in the warmer months (for example the Lancome Soleil Crystal you mentioned and Idole Aura) and I have to resell them)
I am not as much in coconuts, I am into mango and cherries. 🥭🍒

Yes! That’s the problem with the musamam white intense for me. Not only do I not have a picture in my head of how and when I would like to wear it, but I also don’t get any feelings from it. It’s not happy or cozy or refreshing or delicious or sexy or feminine or confident. I don’t know how to feel when I where it. But it’s a beautiful scent🤷🏻♀️🤣 I’ll keep it around a while and see if that changes 🤔

I think with Vanilla vibes you’re may be talking about the Tonka causing the coconut sunscreen vibe. I’m not sure. But sometimes I think I can smell a bit of coconut in shaghaf oud tonka.

Hello one thing I have noticed in a lot of videos where people are describing beachy type coconut fragrances is that they say that it smells like sunscreen. I grew up at the beach, so I know about sunscreen versus suntan lotion, and I can say that in my opinion, most of these fragrances that people are talking about smell like the yummy, suntan lotions and suntan oils, not the sunscreen, which really wasn’t used very often check it out. Thank you🥰🥰🥰Yes, you’re absolutely right. Sometimes I will use the word sunscreen and tanning lotion synonymously with each other but there is a difference. I need to be more precise in my descriptions. The only one that actually smells like “sunscreen” is coco shimmy. The others I was mentioning are more like tanning lotion/oil. 🤓🤓🤓
I own 25 perfumes with Coconut or Coconut Water. Holidays by Mancera and Vanilla Coco by Kayali both sound summery in the name and notes but in my head they don’t fit for summer and I never know when to wear them! 😅 Too heavy… Coconut Fizz, Alien Goddess and Gabrielle Essence are my current favorites.

Try Holidays in the cooler weather. It surprisingly works very well in the cold, due to the vanilla.

Musamam smells like a rich woman shopping in the Hamptons lol, she is put together not a hair out of place wearing crisp starched beige clothing, I think of brunch with fine wines and boujie conversations 🤣😉 ( this is all in my head of course 😂) it’s a spiced Ylang that lacks sweetness, very elegant and mature I’m also not sure when to wear because I’m not rich 🤑 and I don’t go out for brunch 😂😂😂
