It's the best foundation product I've ever used. I'm 65 and I have a good skin rather smooth and not a lot of wrinkles, and it just makes my skin look beautiful and natural.
i’ve used the caliray for a year now and while i agree it’s a fantastic formula, it can be a little rough with texture and pores, and it slides off my oily skin by the end of the day in the summer. looks absolutely amazing for the first few hours though and if you are on top of any oiliness through the day/somewhere with a/c, it stays looking fresh.
the rose inc tinted serum is genuinely my holy grail 😓 it gives such a natural finish while smoothing out your skin tone and leaves such a nice radiance! You just have to apply it very specifically (downward strokes with a brush), but the finish makes it so worth the fussy application
Okay, I have to say my favorite on the list is the Rose Inc... its a very weird and misunderstood product. You NEED to apply it with a brush the brush bristles break the beads apart and give a super airbrushed finished. It blends into the skin better than the Chanel version. I dont work for them and am not paid to endorse it at all. I recommend using a Sephora 56 brush to apply it. It wears incredible well for oily akin and I always get compliments when I wear it at work. I'm a pro mua with 19 years experience ❤
Thank you, Andrew for validating my experience with it! truly gorgeous when using a brush - I even like to pat it in further with a sponge . I hope she’ll give another try simply because I don’t want her to miss out on how good it is.
100% it must be applied with a brush and it's beautiful! I use the BK beauty 101 and it's flawless, light and hydrating without being greasy. And it's a cleaner product to boot, I think it's lovely and I really enjoy it! I hope Nikki gives it another try as well.
NARS is my absolute favorite. I think the problem is that for most makeup lovers, tinted moisturizers don’t work unless they’re matte because too much makeup is used on too. I always thought of tinted moisturizers as the lazy girl thing. I use the nars, with the hourglass cream blush on top, then top off with the hourglass mascara and ysl lipstick and I’m done, but any time I’ve done a full face, it just didn’t wear well. It’s strange, but that’s my experience
The urban decay hydro maniac is my go to. I have severely dry & dehydrated skin so this helps my skin breathe with being sooooo pretty. It’s so natural & lasts all day. I live in a place that’s 99% humidity. Stays on all day.
Hi Nikki!! This video is INCREDIBLE! I’m probably the only person that LOVES the Rose Inc Tinted Serum 😂 when applied with their brush and then blotted in with a dry beauty blender it creates an even, beautiful glow from within finish that works even on my grease slick skin. I highly recommend giving it another try with that technique.
Nikki, it’s been a long time coming! Ever since you released the UNBEATABLE Foundation Haul, I’ve been looking forward to this video and was hoping you could put it together to help us choose the best complexion products available on the market! I can’t thank you ENOUGH for your honesty, patience, time, and effort. It does not go unnoticed, and I truly RELISH these long videos. From the bottom of my heart: THANK YOU!
This is the video I’ve been looking for! I am a dry skin boy who lives in northeast America and I am so glad I purchased your BK beauty set for 20% off on Amazon! Nicki, I am a new subscriber of your channel for the past three months. You’ve been making nothing but reliable, informative, educational very elegant content, and it is so accompanied by your warm soul in your kind of demeanor, please Never keep stop being yourself. Your content is so so needed in our community really helped revive the content on the community!! I learned so much watching your channel even tho I’ve been doing makeup for over 10 years! You and Erin Nicole have been my sources for a long time on TH-cam! Love you! ❤
Nikki, You are such an amazing Beauty Content Creator. I cannot thank you enough for going out and beyond in bringing such amazing content. To once again go out and purchase every skin tint at Sephora ( which had to take a lot of time) , I cannot thank you enough for your in depth demos of each one. You’re the Best Sweetie. You amaze me! Much love, Karla
The Rose Inc. Skin tint is a holy grail for me! ❤ you have to use a brush to crush the beads and then apply it to your face. It has a beautiful finish and feels very hydrating (but not oily/greasy), especially in the winter. Thank you for this amazing video too btw! I love these videos
Wow! I was really shocked at your review of Ilia serum. I find it goes on my face DRY and hard to spread. I then found if I mix it with a light moisturizer before applying, it looks beautiful and not too shiny at all! I guess I have dry skin, but it never feels tight and it never flakes. I often forget to use moisturizer at night. I’m 74 years old and people ask me often what beautiful skincare I’m using. I will be trying some of your suggestions for dry skin, but for now, Ilia is my all-time favorite!!
Rose Inc applies beautifully with the BK Beauty 101 brush, much better than fingers and it's actually quite a beautiful finish. You're correct though, with fingers it's a mess for me too! I do, however enjoy it though when applied with a brush. Thank you for your content...always enjoy and I LOVE YOUR BRUSHES! I have three of your Nikki sets!! ❤
One super convenient thing for me is that I also have combination to oily skin so if Nikki loves a product for her own complexion I can be pretty confident it will work on mine!
Fellow oily skin type here 🙋🏽the Ilia super serum skin tint does dry down. It transforms my oily skin into a beautiful satin, almost matte finish due to its actives. The trick to using it is to treat it as actual skin care. Because of that you don’t want to use any or very little skincare before. You want to start in sections use thin layers. Just like skin care allow to dry before using other complexion products.
Very fair skin tones are NOT catered to in all brands. Light skin tones are. Super pale people are usually left out, and it’s actually very difficult for us to find shade matches. If Ami Cole left out regular light white peoples shades, cool. But saying that pale people are overrepresented is just false.
@@meezle1904no, we’re not. We usually get one pale shade that is wildly yellow or pink, or practically white with the next step down being way darker. It’s totally fine for a black owned brand to focus on deeper skin tones. It’s totally fine to say that white people in general have enough foundation shades. It’s completely inaccurate to say that *pale* people have enough. We don’t.
“Regular light white people skin tones” means white people WHO ARE NOT PALE. As in average white people skin colors. Go pick a fight with someone else.
The Nars Pure Radiant is one of my favourites. I have dry skin. It has perfect wear-time on me and NEVER settles into fine lines and wrinkles... 😎✌🏼💜💜💜💜🇬🇧
For the It Cosmetics: QVC usually has great buys on these products, and I love that the creator made this to help with her own rosacea-prone skin. It’s really a good line!
Omg! I really adore your channel, specially this kind of videos, your massive work telling us your opinion about each product and swatching it on you…. That give us a massive idea about how the product works. It represents so many hours of dedication that is hard to see these days, so thank you from the bottom of my ❤! Big kisses from Portugal
Ami Colé is a black owned brand geared towards us black folks, so I'm guessing these particular six shades in the tint was a very intentional decision.
It looks like such a beautiful formula!! I’d never heard of this brand…I’ll be googling it soon to see what other products they have. I’d love to support them!!❤
@@Plum_bird yeah it looked fine, but For one black brand, there are probably 100 other brands that will cater to white/fair/ super-lighter skin tones. Don't tell a black brand to do better with lighter shades. Are you serious?
Nikki I was an It Cosmetics brand rep for years and LOVE their products through and through (as well as their brushes)! I totally agree with your thoughts and opinions on the different formulas. I used to hear a lot of people complaining about the thickness in consistency with the matte CC cream in addition to the original CC cream but here’s the trick-less is more! Use way less than you think you need and it blends beautifully with a brush or even with fingers. Same goes for their concealer. It actually does work very well but simply use much less.
This video was great. Tinted moisturizer is exactly what I’m looking for. Excited to try Laura Mercier oil free and Estee Lauder Futurist. Love your videos!❤
I love the ilia super serum skin tint. Hate the weird smell but I put up with that for a few reasons. First off it has the only spot on shade match for my fair olive skin tone. I have combo/oily skin and I have no issues with it playing well with my other products. I don’t know if it’s the primer I use but I have never had an issue with it not setting, with my other products sliding off, or with it not holding up throughout my day. I use the Danessa Myricks blurring balm in universal as my primer when I wear it. I love the resulting finish so much. Now if only they could get rid of the cat food scent, lol.
Love the it cosmetics CC cream! Been using it for years. I have tried several of the brands mentioned & I always reach for her for everyday light wear.❤
The Ciele one is my go to right now so I am so happy you liked it. I go back and forth between it and TirTir. Thanks so much for the honest review of everything. Very helpful and very appreciated.
From one oily girl to another, THANK YOU for taking the time to do this! I've been coming through reviews for weeks, trying to decide which one will work best for me. Now I have it narrowed down to about 5 good options 🙌🏼
I have a strong affinity for the Nars and bareMinerals options, which have proven to be exceptional 🤗 I'm a 46 with a complex skin type that's both combination and sensitive, requiring careful attention 🥴
The Nars and UD are my faves! I have drier skin and I’ve always loved how Nars wears on me! I’ve used it for almost 3yrs and ONE bottle lasted me over 2yrs!!! I use the UD as a foundation and it’s my perfect shade match! I have the same shades as you (shade twins but I’m a neutral 💗) I’m sad Nars didn’t work for you!
I'm so glad you love the Urban Decay hydromaniac foundation!!! I have normal to dry skin and this is the one foundation I would buy if I could only have one. I think it is SO underrated.
Thank you for this video! I bought the Estee Lauder Hydratint and felt the same way - looks pretty on, hard to blend in without streaks but then sets into pores A LOT which I don’t even usually have an issue with! I had to return it
Absolutely amazing in depth reviews as always, thank you! You mentioned trying these over sunscreens that you know won’t pill and roll up under other products - Would really love a similar review of the best sunscreens for under makeup please! Your reviews are just the best ❤
Thank you so much Nikki!! I have dry skin. I am currently using the Fenty Hydro Visor Tinted moisturizer. I have had many compliments how great my skin looks. I really do like the Urban Decay Hydromaniac tinted hydrator. I definitely want to try the Ciele and the Caliray. I value your opinion so much! Love you so much Nikki.
I can't stop staring at your eyeshadow, love the sparkle! What are you using?? Just finished the video, really appreciate all your testing here. I've had my eyes on a few of these for a while
Thank you so much for this video! Seriously! In the cooler months, I don’t wear a full coverage foundation because my skin gets so dry and it seems like every foundation I wear looks cakey. Based on your review of the UD Hydromaniac tinted glow hydrator, I have found my perfect “foundation/ tinted moisturizer”. This stuff is amazing! Blends out beautifully with a nice glow and enough coverage to hide my mild rosacea. You saved my face and my bank account with this video! Thank you Nikki! 🥰
Wow, wowza. This was so incredibly thorough, concise, and beyond helpful! This is a video I will continually reference for years to come. Thank you so much, Nikki!!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You have impeccable taste, and this post will inform my skin tint purchases in the future. ❤ My favorites are: Lisa Eldridge Chanel Les Beiges Water Fresh Tint Hourglass Danessa Myricks Fenty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint Please do more videos like this. I love them.
This must have taken a lot of time and work to out this together for us Nikki. I love and respect you so much. Many MUAs tell us what to buy. You are so honest and because of that you save us a lot of money. Thank you thank you thank you.
Soo interesting the Rose inc is my ride or die. It makes my skin so glowy and I always feel it looks flawless on my face whenever I use it. Perhaps it’s the different colour pigments per shade. I also use a beauty blender. I was so sad to hear I may not get it anymore. So definitely loved seeing this video to get other options!
Wow! I hung in until the end and thank you for reviewing ALL of these! I’d just bought the bare minerals complexion rescue on prime day and I’m liking it so far! Want to try the Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO !!!!!!! i can’t even imagine the amount of time & effort that went into making this video for us :,,) i’ve been wanting to try a skin tint, but i’m not very makeup savvy & have never even worn foundation. i had absolutely no idea where to start…… now i do !!! thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏
These videos are so great! I didn't know the IT Cosmetics products were reformulated. I may try them again. I am also interested in Rare Beauty, Caliray, Tower 28, and Ciele. I tend to use tinted sunscreens, so I am excited about these. I appreciate you, Nikki. Thanks❤
Not even 20 minutes in and I’m already loving this video. I appreciate you for acknowledging that it’s ok for Ami Cole to cater more to melanin rich tones since the majority of brands out there don’t always extend their ranges. Your ability to see that and note it didn’t go unnoticed. You’re amazing at what you do!! Ok, back to the video now 😂
I have dry skin, and my favourite skint tint to date was NARS (the old formula). I haven't tried the new one, but I will skip it after this video. I bought a few months ago ILIA’s skin tint after all the hype, but I wouldn't say I like it all. It's not suitable even for people with dry skin. I am currently wearing/testing the new D&G skin tint, but it's too early to share my opinion. As a tinted moisturising girl, I must admire that my current favourite product is the DIOR backstage foundation. I love, love this product so much. So light, and it lasts all day long. Thank you SO MUCH for this video! 🤍🤍
I have the Rare Beauty tinted moisturizer and I love it. I’m 58 years old with age spots. This tinted moisturizer gives me some coverage over my spots on my forehead
If you are not already treating your age spots, I have had good results with PCA Skin pigment gel. It's pricey, but a little goes a long way. It took about 6 months of (almost) nightly use before there was noticeable improvement.
Hi Nikki! How do you remove your foundation between swatches? What do you put on your cheek, if anything, to prep before your next swatch? How long did it take to film this video?
I’m actually struggling with it but I think it’s my skin prep that I’m doing wrong. But her foundation is amazing and you can make it into a skin tint. If you have any tips on how much skin prep you do or what you products you use with it, I’d be grateful ❤
Agree! The best if you don't like to feel products on your face and don't like slipping and sliding. Skin tints can be long wearing and have a nice finish without being too glowy or greasy 💗
Thanks for this video. This is one that I will rewatch everytime I need some guidance when purchasing skin tinted moisturizers. Btw- loooving your eye makeup- the glittery eyeshadow makes your eyes pop
Thanks so much for doing this video. I have really oily skin so this helped me tremendously to find tints that will work with my needs and still look great.
Nikki: What a timely video. When you mentioned the FENTY Beauty Skin Tint, I ran upstairs and put some on. 😢 It just doesn't work for me. Now I remember why I haven't used it very much. It's patchy and cakey, no matter how well I prep my skin. Alas, I've relegated this product to the trash bin. Perhaps the Rare Beauty one will work better? Thank you for such a wonderful and instructive video! ❤❤❤
Another wonderful video, Nikki. I love how informative you are and with such positivity. P.S: For the Merit foundation stick (if anyone bought it and is trying to make it work), I think the name is misleading. It's not really meant to be worn as a foundation all over the face, but rather more like in the areas you need correcting. I found this technique makes this product a holy grail for me. Angie (Hot and Flashy) also tested the foundation stick and used it like I do and loved it!
Watched the whole thing!!! I appreciate your dedication so much :) Definitely adding some of these products to my wishlist! I'd love for you to try some of the Chanel foundations one day and give your opinions.
Thank you so much for such an in depth review! In conclusion, would you say that the best for oily skin is the Fenty Eaze Drop and the It Cosmetics matt one? Which one ist lighter/which does stay longer? Thank you so much again!!
I love the bareMinerals one and have for years. In fact I am wearing it as I am watching this video. I love especially during the summer months. It works so well for my skin that I just don't have the need to replace it. Thank you for another great video.
@@julielyons9180 that’s so interesting! I hear most people love the Bare Minerals TM, but I found it to feel greasy, streaky, and made my skin way too oily within 2-3 hours. 🤷♀️ I don’t even have particularly oily skin! I do live in a VERY hot climate though (Phoenix, AZ), so maybe it just doesn’t hold up in heat very well?
I have dry skin and I recently bought the Fenty hydra vizor huez tinted moisturiser and I am in love with it!!! If you have dry skin, just go and try it and see how it feels. I sometimes use it as a base before applying my foundation.
I always watch your entire video, and I hugely appreciate your willingness to do these tests. Right now I'm eyeing both the Fenty skin tint since I have oily/mature skin, and the Ciele. I've been using the original It Cosmetics CC cream for over a year and like it, but that matte formula sounds much better to me, so that's a contender too. I'm a complexion products junkie, always looking for that "perfect" product for my skin, so thank you for the recommendations. I know they'll save me money in the long run.
Thank you so much for posting this! I ended up getting the Hourglass skin tint and it’s fantastic for my sensitive, dry skin. And I feel like it lasts all day for me and I loooooove how light weight it feels! Love feeling like I don’t have a mask of make up on. 💄

Your content is so so needed in our community really helped revive the content on the community!! I learned so much watching your channel even tho I’ve been doing makeup for over 10 years! You and Erin Nicole have been my sources for a long time on TH-cam! Love you! ❤
Nikki is awesome-I love her drama-free approach!
Thanks! SO helpful. I have oily skin and a lot of makeup just disappears on me in a few hours.
Oh my gosh, thank YOU!!🙏🏼 and I’m so happy this was helpful!!
a 2 hour & a half long video from you is EXACTLY what I needed to wake up to, thank you 🥺🖤
@@margocrawford9239 this is really helpful to hear! Thank you for letting me know! And oh my gosh! That’s AMAZING!!!!! Thank you for the love!!!!
@@meezle1904”regular light white people shades” means shades for white people WHO ARE NOT PALE. Go pick a fight with someone else.
The Nars Pure Radiant is one of my favourites. I have dry skin. It has perfect wear-time on me and NEVER settles into fine lines and wrinkles... 😎✌🏼💜💜💜💜🇬🇧
@@GMW.artist same here. I’ve been using it for awhile now and it’s good on combo skin
For the It Cosmetics: QVC usually has great buys on these products, and I love that the creator made this to help with her own rosacea-prone skin. It’s really a good line!
They have a supersize that’s 2.5 ounces that I always repurchase!
Omg! I really adore your channel, specially this kind of videos, your massive work telling us your opinion about each product and swatching it on you…. That give us a massive idea about how the product works. It represents so many hours of dedication that is hard to see these days, so thank you from the bottom of my ❤! Big kisses from Portugal
@@82Lexana thank you so much for watching and for the love!! Sending a huge to you in Portugal !!
I just stretched Nikki!! Ready for this skin tint marathon, and thank you!! ❤❤❤
@@safrica229 hahhahahah 😂😂😂 LOVE YOU!!

I don’t see the Beauty Blender skin tint on here😢, and it might the best one in existence❤
I ❤ the Rose Inc. Skin Tint. I use the #47 Sephora Pro Foundation brush with it.
These long format Sephora videos are the only reason I go to the gym. 😂 Thank you Nikki! ❤
My favorite thing to watch during cardio!
This is probably thee absolute best makeup review video Ive ever seen on YT. The thoroughness and the amount of products you tested! Amazing!
I know this is so not the point of the video but I’m literally obsessed with your eye look Nikki❤
Same! I can’t keep studying them and I need a tutorial 😊
Nikki always wins the wing category.
Oh the Beauty Blender skin tint is also really gorgeous!! Wears all day on my oily acne prone skin
This skin tint is a holy grail ❤it
I agree! The beauty blender and the urban decay tinted moisturizers are insanely high coverage and beautiful 😻
Did they discontinue this one?? It’s my favorite too
@@AndrewCarterBeauty oh no I thought they were discontinuing that one?! So I didn’t pick it up!
I wonder if it’s being reformulated?? Most shades are still available at the kohls and beauty blender websites, but it’s sold out at Sephora.
Ami Colé is a black owned brand geared towards us black folks, so I'm guessing these particular six shades in the tint was a very intentional decision.
Even so , it looked beautiful on Nikki’s skin and would also be great for anyone that matches the shades, much like any complexion product.
@@lesliehatch-herman9325black/POC brands need support and exposure 👍🏾
@@lifeonabudget8513People frequently, and I mean frequently, complain that Korean brands should offer more deep shades.
I use and love the Glossier skin tint. Foundation scares me and this I just squeeze out and use it and it blurs beautifully!
The Ciele one is my go to right now so I am so happy you liked it. I go back and forth between it and TirTir. Thanks so much for the honest review of everything. Very helpful and very appreciated.
You’re single handedly giving us the content we need!
With my dry skin I'm excited to try the urban decay and tower 28! ❤ Thanks for this video Nikki and all the thought and effort you put in!
I have dry skin and the tower 28 is one of my favs!
The tower 28 one is sooooo pretty! Also their concealer is amazing. They are a great brand
If the Tarte Juicy Glow is like the Charlotte Tilbury……then give 2 please😍Thank you, you explained everything to perfection👌🏼👌🏼
Thank you for the hug, the original it cosmetics formula is my favorite.
I've had my eyes on a few of these for a while
Ciele is AMAZING!! They also make a bronzing/ contour stick, powder & LIQUID blush, ALL with MINERAL SPF!! Wears beautifully & stays all day!!
Yay! Thanks for all your hard work, honest reviews, & positive energy! You & your channel is a ray of light in these crazy times. ❤
Thank you so much for trying all of the IT cosmetic cc’s! I love the nude glow and now im excited to try the illuminating version.

So definitely loved seeing this video to get other options!
the ombre eyeliner look you're wearing is FAB!!!
Wow! I hung in until the end and thank you for reviewing ALL of these! I’d just bought the bare minerals complexion rescue on prime day and I’m liking it so far! Want to try the Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue.

@@jeanetteh.9240Thank you! I haven’t even tried to get rid of them. I will now. Thank you so much!

Hi Nikki! How do you remove your foundation between swatches? What do you put on your cheek, if anything, to prep before your next swatch? How long did it take to film this video?

Thank you thank you!!! For all these that you do for us!!!!!! 💖💖💖🔥🔥✨✨💜 could you do the drugstore version of skin tints??? Thank you!!!!!
My current skin tint is Lisa Eldridge and it’s amazing
I’m actually struggling with it but I think it’s my skin prep that I’m doing wrong. But her foundation is amazing and you can make it into a skin tint. If you have any tips on how much skin prep you do or what you products you use with it, I’d be grateful ❤
@@angelaborne2431 I NEED to try this asap!!!
Agree! The best if you don't like to feel products on your face and don't like slipping and sliding. Skin tints can be long wearing and have a nice finish without being too glowy or greasy 💗

I couldn’t agree more!!!

Yes for all the MINIS!!!! I do love the TARTE just for the satin finish ugh! but the shades off 🤍🤍🤍🤍
I have dry skin and I recently bought the Fenty hydra vizor huez tinted moisturiser and I am in love with it!!! If you have dry skin, just go and try it and see how it feels. I sometimes use it as a base before applying my foundation.
Whew I lasted the whole video…..it was awesome. Going to try iT cosmetics that you recommended tomorrow. Love your show and your honesty. ❤️
