Omg I love that corn stripping advice! I'm gonna use that from now on. I can't eat corn on the cob because of how bad it gets between my teeth, but I also feel bad bc I waste so much of the corn by cutting it off.. This totally mitigates that issue! You're a lifesaver Molly!!!!

OMG I actually love the scallop muscles too, stir fried with green chilli, and onion with a little salt, and sambal, so good... very sweet, and the texture is so unique.
Is there any particular reason why she put the lime on the cutting board first instead of directly into the bowl at 3:33? Is this some chefy thing or did she just forget about the bowl for a moment?
I like that Molly slices garlic for shellfish and not crushing it to get a cleaner taste the works well with shellfish (scollops and shrimp particularly well).
I love the recipe, totally going to give that a try while corn is still nice. Also I suspect that Timecop1983 is suddenly going to get a surge of interest & not know why.

I made this today, but I couldn’t find cured chorizo, so I used fresh. I liked the way it turned out, I’ll try them next time with dry Spanish chorizo if I come across it.
After watching many Gordon Ramsay videos of scallops it triggers me when people don't put them in the pan in a (anti)clockwise manner so they can be taken out in order and all be cooked evenly.

Dictator of God what you say makes no sense... She already has the lemon in her hands, then she puts them down and immediatlely picks them up again.
She moved the larger piece of the lime out of frame before picking up the smaller piece and putting it in the bowl.
if you put citrus in a hot pan too early in the cooking process it starts to taste bitter
Probably because she used the same knife for the pepper and wanted to remove any leftover on the lime.

I think large shrimp would make a good substitute. Or maybe chunks of some firm white fish.
