You are so talented. I’ve been binge watching you for a couple of days and can’t stop watching. You make every quilt turn out beautiful - just amazing!!!
I’ve been watching your videos for a while but just realized you are from grants pass! I grew up in amity… I hope some day to visit your quilt shop! We live in San Diego now so it’s much farther but it sure made me smile that you are from my home state too.
Who else tries to guess which thread Donna will choose for the quilting? I always get it wrong, LOL! I like the pattern that was chosen but it's nice to have the multiple options from the one block!
I think this is my favorite quilt you've ever made...and that's saying something. The colors and pattern just mesh. It's...calming to look at. My palette is usually richer, darker tones, but this overall is comfort. Thank you, Donna.
This quilt is what I think most people envision when you say the word "quilt." It looks cozy, like your grandmother made it and very cheerful. It's just right for any season and would be perfect as a gift.
Couldn't agree more. Such comforting colors. I do prefer this layout the best, but they are all nice. Thank you, Donna. Whenever newbies join quilt groups I always tell them about your tutorials.
Amazing pattern and no fuss tutorial 👏. Then I found the pattern on your site. Bought it, and within 3 minutes, I had my copy in my hand in the UK. Wish the fabric was as easy. Off to my stash now to have a practice with what I have. Thank you so much. 😊
I really like when you can make one block and have a choice of different layouts. Your videos are the highlight of my week. I love watching you sew. Thanks, Donna.
The person who designed this pattern was a genius; fabulous coming out with different patterns with this design- 6 - so interesting- thank you fir showing varieties if quilts- Donna, you give us techniques and tips and show us how to do these- thank you!
I don't know if it's only me, but l could watch the quilting machine all day.....it's mesmerizing to me!! Thank you Donna and gang. Another beautiful quilt. Love your channel. Stay safe everyone. From Nova Scotia, Canada xoxoxo.
cindy, I think that's why it is so nice, it makes me think of all my grandmother's quilts. Can not decide if its the mix of colors or the look of the material and pattern.
I think I would choose the layout that you used then maybe try the first layout. Great video. Thank you! It's always a good morning when I see there's a new video and hear "Hi, I'm Donna Jordan from Jordan Fabrics" ☺
I really waited up until midnight for this video and then fell asleep to forget I was waiting on one! The struggle is really on your videos, make me so happy to watch them and you teach so much
I absolutely love this quilt, Donna!!! I chose the same layout as you (in my mind, that is). You are an excellent teacher because you’re so clear and precise, while your calm voice and friendly personality make every quilt seem doable. I’m always very motivated after watching Jordan Fabrics videos, and I’ve made several of the quilts you’ve taught on TH-cam. Thank you, thank you. You’re amazing.
This has been such an interesting tutorial, and what a beautiful result! I can't wait to watch this video again tonight. The name of the flower-filled fat quarter bundle is "Lady Bird", named in recognition of Lady Bird Johnson and her wildflower initiative begun during LBJ's presidency.
I really like this pattern. All the different layouts. But I also like the same one you did the most..I like that it is versatile so you could use the same pattern many times. This will definitely e on my to do list. Thanks!!
Oh Donna love the Quilt and the little peach border is just yummy. I use alot of double borders on my quilts too! I also have my longarmer quilt in white alot. Thanks for making us be braver with patterns. I love your style of picking out colors and thread. Thanks for the tutorials and all you do for us. I to liked the pattern you picked. I liked the border it made around the outside. Hugs from Minnesota
I thought I saw a utube that you were showing a quilt good for beginners and this evening I cannot find it. Suggestions appreciated. You make such beautiful quilts.
Donna, Matt, and team: Your videos are the best! I wish you were on my coatline! This quilt looks like a Persian rug to me. Love it! Thank you for all you do!
I absolutely love the resulting quilt and sincerely hope I am the very lucky recipient when it is eventually given away! In the meantime I shall make one or two of the other patterns. Gorgeous!
Really liking the simplicity of this one, looks difficult overall until you see the breakdown and then you know you could do it. Think I might do the black background.
I was so pleased to see your You Tube video this morning as I purchased this pattern from you only a few days ago, it has really helped to see it made up before I started. I also prefer the layout that you chose. At the same time I purchased this pattern I also bought Doug Lego Hidden Treasures and I would love to see your take on this too. Thanks for all you do, Margaret, Wales,UK.
Absolutely beautiful and you are right I loved it when you showed the way you were finally going to keep and then you put the borders on it, took my breath away, just so beautiful!!!
What an awesome pattern, to be able to create 6 different quilts from one block, that's value for money! I really like the pattern you chose Donna, and the fabric from Moda is beautiful. I could see Kaffe Fasset fabrics with a dark accent looking stunning in this design. I shall definitely be trying this pattern out. Thank you for bringing this to us.
I absolutely love this quilt and you picked the layout I like best! I love your videos Donna and your teaching methods and the way you explain why do this and why not to do that. Look forward every week to your new quilt tutorials! Blessings from MN, Suzee
Hi Donna! I just love the Lady Bird fabric! Gudrun Erla of GE Designs just featured this on her channel & it's just gorgeous. This was such a fun quilt with all the layouts and your border choices were such soft colors. So pretty. And I continue to learn tricks from you-I've never ironed my seams on a flying geese opposite directions before to be able to see the criss-cross of the seams BUT it makes so much sense!!! Thanks for always sharing tips & tricks 😊
@Donna~ I think of all the quilts you've taught us how to create, THIS IS MY FAVORITE! I love the fact there are 6 layouts to choose from and also appreciate Doug Leko including photos of quilts in different color ways; it TRULY helps spark my imagination! Thank you so much for your excellent tutorials Donna, I've learned so much from you! God Bless ~~Christy~~
A truly beautiful quilt, the prettiest I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you for your fabulous demonstration, you certainly have teaching down to a fine art.
This quilt is beautiful, I love the fabric and colours in it. This is possibly my favourite quilt that you’ve made. My two favourite layouts are the one you picked and the last one.
Beautiful quilt Donna, and a great tutorial, love how you demonstrate your quilting. I liked this pattern best, it was the one I choose when you laid out the different patterns. Tks Donna
Okay. I'm hooked. I'm in the UK and quilting has become lost in time as a traditional thing. It's a shame but I'm sure there are some dedicated quilters somewhere here. I've made a couple of very simple square block quilts now and I'm ready to try something different. This is by far the best tuition video on the net. Absolutely step-by-step, very clear and concise. Donna Jordan, your presentation style is perfect. That's because you are not thinking about yourself, you are concentrating on making it easy for us to follow. It's all about The Quilt. I'm retired now and have downsized so I don't have much table space. But I think making multiple blocks will suit me better. Jealous of your quilting machine. Don't think I'll find one in the UK but you never know! Thank you, Jordan & Co! Regards from Lynne
I was looking at the patterns on your website awhile back and I saw this pattern. I was hoping that you would show us how to make it. No matter how terrible my day has been, I can come home and watch you sew for thirty minutes and I am refreshed and ready to tackle the evening chores. Thank you Donna!
Donna,How much I enjoy your tutorials. I have learned many techniques from watching you sew. My granddaughter has received a new sewing and embroidery machine for Christmas and is looking to me to help her get started making quilts. I shall start by referring her to your program! Jean C. in VT
I've never seen flying geese pressed that way before. So cool! I'm going to have to try that!
Love the layouts but like the third one the most
You are so talented. I’ve been binge watching you for a couple of days and can’t stop watching. You make every quilt turn out beautiful - just amazing!!!
I agree with you, she is amazing.
Yes, I was so sure she would go with the peach one then. 😅
I almost always guess wrong too!
Don’t always agree with her choices
Every time.
Always
I love the traditional one.
I think this is my favorite quilt you've ever made...and that's saying something. The colors and pattern just mesh. It's...calming to look at. My palette is usually richer, darker tones, but this overall is comfort. Thank you, Donna.
Me too!( I wasn't going to say anything...but yes!)
I agree!!
This quilt is what I think most people envision when you say the word "quilt." It looks cozy, like your grandmother made it and very cheerful. It's just right for any season and would be perfect as a gift.
I totally agree!!!
Couldn't agree more. Such comforting colors. I do prefer this layout the best, but they are all nice. Thank you, Donna. Whenever newbies join quilt groups I always tell them about your tutorials.

That is just about the most beautiful quilt I’ve seen. It’s exactly the picture that comes when I think of a quilt. Beautiful colors too

Hi I simply love this pattern. Please tell me where I can get the booklet. I didn't see it on your website. Thanks so much
