Thanks for reviewing the CAGEFIGHTER! It's certainly been a while since the artemis and I'm very excited to make more of my designs available to the modding community~ I hope the new OOD x RS187 platform brings 3d printed foam blasting to news heights!
I think putting a piccatiny rail on top (or having the option on the files) and a stock attachment point could be great. Otherwise it looks really good ! I like the possibility to have high fps, the single trigger and it’s small as possible size. And also an option for an arduino, to get full auto, semi auto and burst in a single blaster, with a switch ? Looking for it !
Luke, at the point when you said " We'll be offering these pre-built in the shop..." I said, "Shut up and take my money!" Great vid (as always). Really enjoying your 1st POV review snippets of different blasters of your experience w/ Capt X.
When I first saw this I thought it was the same size and same concept as the payara but with full-auto wiring, and I was very wrong! This is such a tiny blaster for how powerful it can be, I see why you like playing with it so much. Personally I prefer semi-auto blasters but this has such a high rate of fire that I think it would be really fun to use as an emergency secondary blaster. It's great that you are going to sell kits for these on your shop, thanks so much for showing this cool review! 🧡💜
I’d kinda like to see both a rail on the top, as well as some kind of a stock attachment point on the back. I know it isn’t meant to be shouldered or anything like that, but I think it would turn it from an amazing pistol, to the top SMG on the market!
absolutely, love the game play footage mixed into the review. glad to see that you are going to sell an OoD package. keep up the good work can't wait to see the mod guide top rail - I gotta put my Proud Papa somewhere!!!
looks great, alternative to a Lepus (which is much fun). I think a rail on top yes, sling mount absolutely. I would like see sort of trigger guard as the exposed trigger has issues if it needs to be slung or holstered as a secondary. Also perhaps mounts for a collapsing stock to allow it to have more points of contact and be more stable even within its limited range. I will be looking at the hardware kits you put together for sure.
I've seen the prototype on Reddit numerous times throughout different design stages, and it's complete now! Really cool little blaster, it's technically a bullpup...pistol? I've never seen someone use a dart head or some dart foam as the mag realize button! It's super small/compact, and it's neat how the mechanics are actually behind your hand, that should make it super easy to one hand and agile. It also seems well rounded/complete (some 3D printed blasters seem like they're not fully complete). A rail would be nice, but not a necessity.
If you want to use angled talon mags you could always have them in backwards, so they angle under the grip. I like the straight ones better anyway but just an idea
A picatinny rail up top would be nice. Also maybe a customizable plates that go somewhere on the side where people can have custom writing on it would be good too. I really hope you guys offer a great range of color combination options as well.
We had to push this video up in the publishing schedule, so we weren't quite ready to sell hardware kits. If you put your email in the box on the listing we'll notify you when the kits are available (in about 5-7 days, we expect).
The waffle is located by the modified stryfe above the zombie strike longshot. (Or at least I think that's a waffle. The background blur makes it hard to tell)
I had envisioned doing this with a d dart tempest, but how amazing would this be with a reverse top rail as a pump grip on a Iynx? Both running tachis?
I love this blaster, but I'm bias to the lepus as Jack Rabbit is a member of the team I play with and helped him with some of the refinements of the lepus
We had to move up the publishing schedule when we needed more footage for the spectrum mod guide planned for this week. You can sign up for email notifications when the hardware kits go live within a week.
Could it not be modified to accept angled mags, but with the angle pointing forward (ie away from your torso)? I'd think doing it that way would make it easier to rotate without hitting your torso. Also, this looks like a 3D-printed analogue of the D-Dart Tempest. It does look more compact of course, and has better performance tuning (ROF and FPS I'd bet both are better on this).
I would certainly look forward to something like that, but the initial leaks don't show any plans for a box magazine. I'm sure Thanh is all over it though.
Hey luke I was wondering if theres any chance there is a way to contact you to ask questions about 3d printing specifically 3d printing in the type of business you have? if so what is the best way to make contact with you?
I have bad experience with 3D print material. I used the SPAMF and the barrel and body break off when I prime. Not sure electronic product like this will break
Hard to compare the two, since it's a different ammo type and fulfill different niches. Jupiter will always hold a soft spot being the first completely 3D-printed blaster we sold, but if you're playing superstock or ultrastock 200+ FPS with other short dart beasts (Lynx, Talonclaw, etc), then the Cagefighter is probably the one you'll want.

ok. what's it's secondary purpose though? i feel like the LR platform after the original hand held and rail mount has a primary and secondary design element. primarily to be a backup shot, or shield buster, but functionally something else as well. crooked cousin doubles as a foregrip (pump grip if you're nasty). so maybe the niche nephew would be something like a single fire discount little rocket? perhaps a single ammo type non modular version?
@@koolBOY8323 I mean I’m still trying to figure out what it would be I like the sound of a discount little rocket. I just thought of something crazy imagine if it was iron sights that would be insane lol.

Bravo! Incredible design!
I just finished building one off the back of this video. It is a fantastic design.
This thing is so much fun! I can't wait to see more of them out in the wild soon.

Will you guys ever sell the shirt your wearing?
@@johnpaulgray6812 It is from foamblast. I think it is only for members of the artsoft team Dauntless.
“I’ve been running out of darts for 6years now”. I think you should get some more darts if you’ve been running out for that long 😂😂😂
picatinny rail across the top, and an nstrike stock attachment. i think a version with a worker folding stock would just be fun AF.
Even a barrel attachment point
Hell yes that would be awesome if you wanted something like the alternator from apex legend's

Yeah this is a must have!
Looks neat!
Not really a flywheel guy myself but that could actually be something I'd get just to have something to do a quick magdump in a game!
Strangest but coolest little blaster I’ve seen, looks like the zip22 of the nerf world
Absolutely love my Cagefighter. Definitely need longer mags as it gets through 15rd talons super fast.
Cool little blaster. I am not a fly wheel guy but that’s a cool side arm.
And the shirt is the best.

I’m going to wait for the completed blaster.
Ooooooo Derek wants! Just got my Phoenix from OOD. My wife took it. I may need another as well!
Super excited for you to start selling the complete assembled blaster at different FPS options. I’ll get in line as soon as you list them.

That thing is insanely good. I want dual wield pistol laser spitters
Ooohhhh…….Looks Minty Fresh !
Looks like a brick ol fun!
Any possibility of seeing it with a Worker 40 half dart clip or any form of double stacked mag/mags?
A picatinny rail up top would be nice. Also maybe a customizable plates that go somewhere on the side where people can have custom writing on it would be good too. I really hope you guys offer a great range of color combination options as well.
That design though, it sort of resembles a zip 22
I hate that you're not wrong, but at least the Cagefighter seems to be comfortable, functions and isn't a safety hazard to the wielder
It infuriates me that you have a point
This one does have a grip, and wasn't made to kill the user.
I wish there was a build guide I’m losing my mind with the wiring charts lol
A pwm for the pusher motor would be cool if you wanted different rates of fire with the same motor
So its like a big Lepus? I guess where this may work is if it had a really robust (not printed) reverse piccatinny so you could masterkey it
Love to see the Dauntless jersey!
Me too!
Dude when I was little I held ps3 controllers and pretended it was a bull pup pistol and this just brings that idea back to me
I’m definitely interested in this one
"I've been running out of darts for 6 years now"
And you still haven't run out yet?!
Do you have a build guide coming out for this any time in the near future?
We're filming it next week, so you should expect it on the 2nd or 3rd Friday from now.
As always I suggest (if possible) to have an independent rev trigger and firing trigger.
Any particular reason?
@@llsnyderj easier to rev to full for those who lack the trigger control to do a partial pull at a set point
A stock mount - nerf and buffer tube connection for stability as a primary?

At what minimum FPS can a flywheeler benefit from a SCAR?
I've never seen a flywheeler setup where a scar would help. It's probably possible, but much more testing would be needed.
