John Deere Hood Repair - 5213 Agricultural Repair Kit

As of April 2022 the 5213 kit is $460.95. My hood will stay cracked.

I'm guessing you have a lawn tractor, not a farm tractor. IF that's the case and its made of polycarbonate, you can repair the hood with PlastiFix, for under $50.00 and it will hold up as well as a weld. The reason for the Ag kit is that it is much faster and can make much larger repairs the wide variety of materials found in the ag environment.

You're right about the most damaged plastic you're likely to find...John Deere. I'll buy your product when I can get a more exact match ribbon and rod to the JD green.

You can always paint the repair using paint available from John Deere if a perfect match is needed.
