I didn't have this issue with my 17 malibu, why does this happen on my 22 equinox? I know you say it in this video, but would have been good to know at the time of purchase cause now my tailgate is apart, wasn't so easy to get apart, and now I've wasted an hour and don't even have the bulbs working.
Does it matter which way the resistor gets installed? Why would I only have to do that to one bulb? I was sent 2 resistors. I've seen other videos where 2 resistors we're installed. Is there a difference? Tom Dutkiewicz
Exact same car we have same problem this helped alot had no idea how to install a resistor
So need a resistor regardless of led bulb brand on this location for my 2019 equinox?
Same happened to me when doing it into a GMC Terrain.
I can't seem to find where to buy the resistor.
Any link?
The red light of the inside don't turn it on? Only the corners?

Nice, now you have a big loose resistor and wiring to bang around in the life gate
