I love all of these hires too but I think we need to be realistic.
The offense is most likely going to take a step back but it will still be really good with Lebby.
I’m most excited about the defense and getting the strength coach back. The team should be much tougher.
I’ll sacrifice a little bit offense for a Large upgrade in defense, toughness, and disclipine.
As far as taken a step forward…it’s hard to say that since the coaching staff isn’t even a week old, we just lost numerous starters to the NFL and transfer portal, and we also had multiple 5* commits decommit.
I think all of this might pay off long term but the next couple of years might be different than what we’re used to. We need to be patient and give Venables some time.

It’s tough to say. We floated around the idea of either Dan Lanning or Barry Odom

8:51 2023 class is still far off and another year before natl sign day, not saying all or any of those commits could flip but we are in a crazy reality right now where anything can happen so Stinkin Linkin hasnt hurt OU with that yet.

True. The 2023 class is wide open and the Sooners can go after whoever they want

Good job boys. So to send a message about what we have now , they all have sec experience lets remember that Stinkin Lincoln was all big 12 , lebby is better because he's coming from the sec against sec defenses, and lincoln faced all 12 defenses. And look everytime lincoln faced a sec defense he got destroyed. Smh. So its definitely an upgrade all around due to the conferences they come from .

Lebby knows how to compete against the best. Thanks for the support!

And remember the offense was bad last year especially against the better big 12 teams.

Caleb Williams is the unchallenged starter at Oklahoma with the hottest offensive coordinator in the country coming in to take over I don't believe hes going anywhere and I don't know why you keep whining about Brady the guy has no true history he had nothing to do with the LSU offense

Bro why the Brady train....the guy never even call offensive plays..... stop wasting time about Brady..... Levy might hook us up with arch Manning he definitely has a connection to Gabriel from Hawaii or from hawai UCF kid if Williams leaves but I don't think Williams is gonna leave...

I love for Caleb to stay but I am getting tired of hearing about it. If he wants to stay, we should do everything to keep him here. If he doesn’t want to, let him go.
