Two points if I may: 1) You come across charming and a person who is fun to be with; not an inconvenience. 2) I have a friend who had an injury which landed her in a wheelchair for maybe 2 month; a period during which she did not want to "inconvenience" me. Regrettably, I failed to convince her that as a friend, it is not an inconvenience at all, it is actually a pleasure (yes a pleasure) to help our friends. And to be honest, it bothered me that she rejected my help whenever I offered it, but later on I realized that she actually gets pleasure when she gets things done alone without help. I hope you do not find this confusing.

I have to have a visiting nurse come here today to help change my UNABOOTS I have two toes with wounds on them from having my ingrown toenail’s surgery last year. They haven’t been healing ❤️🩹 up like they should. I found out this year that I am a different sugar I have very low sugar type diabetes. When it drops too low I could pass out but I have not had that happen yet thank God. After my shower a while ago I got didn’t mean for them to get wet I use large garbage bags around my legs and then duct tape them I thought I had them sealed pretty good but turned out both my feet got wet and that means both legs are wet and Una boots have to be changed. It is always so inspiring to see someone that got into a terrible accident continue to push on and live their best life. I work with adults and children with intellectual and physical disabilities. Some are also quadriplegic. It irritates me when we go on community outings, and people stop and stare like we're aliens. The worst ones are tourists from other countries. I stop and stare back like what are you looking at? Once I give that hard stare back, it's like oops, I'm sorry!

Everyone goes through hardships is very very true. We have to 'rest in the goodness' of God. We will never understand the reason why we 'go through' 'trials'. We see many people 'having a good time' but 'inside' they may actually have 'struggles' that we never ever know about. Strangers 'love to stare' at others. Maybe it's a mechanism for 'coping' with their own 'problems'. We need to respect everyone's 'personal space' and 'curiosity' is 'not' a 'get out clause' when you are simply apparently 'not respecting' another person. Thank you for this video. May we all know that we are surrounded by the love of the Lord Jesus Christ and that 'all things work together for good for those that love God''. Man looks on the outside but the Lord Jesus Christ looks 'on the heart' of everyone and can 'see inside us' and what we are 'really' like.

I just found you looking for a wheelchair that can help me stand for a business that I am wanting to start. But I am with you I also don’t like when people touch my chair but I also don’t like it when they want to take it for a spin around the house. I am a T3 complete. I feel you .
Also, we have the same problem when we travel to places. The restroom! Sometimes their shower chair isn’t sturdy enough, i bring my own shower bench to make sure. 😂

Regarding question 3...the walking with crutches or braces. If her injury were incomplete and she had either some sensation or movement, she may be able to. However, I believe she said she is a T3-T4 complete...which means no signals get past the spinal cord past her level of injury.
Do you have information about having kids after spinal cord injury?? I know women can have kids . I asked about men that have t1 complete spinal cord injury????
