I put them on my 2017 Gt 350 oxford white with ford blue stripes and dropped 8 pounds per corner in back , 7.6 pounds each in front and it made a noticeable difference in acceleration. I only street drive my car and put back on the p zero tires. The low in torque comes on at around 2200 rpm and feels a whole lot more snapper compared to the boat anchors (61 plus pounds each) which made the car feel sluggish under 4000 rpm. This is a great mod without voiding the warranty and my mpg went up to 25 miles extra per fill up( at 14 gallons).I weighed the p 51 wheels and with 11 inch & 24 mm offset they weighed 23.4 pounds ( front wheels) advertising say 23 pounds and the back wheels with 11.5 mm & 56 mm offset weighed 22.4 pounds ( advertising says 21 pounds). Still much lighter than stock wheels which weighed over 31 lbs in back and 30 plus pounds up front. As a result, you won’t loose 10 to 12 pounds per corner unless your tires are lighter than the stock tires. I like your channel and subscribed.
Never been to PBIR, I’ve only done fast lane Friday in homestead speedway once. I’m on Hankook rs3 at the moment and I was looking at the rs4 or the nankang ar1. I definitely want to get some track time in.
Kevin - I checked out your videos....that car sounds fantastic....explains why the E92 is such a sought after car in the M3 series! For what you are doing, I would not use the AR1's, as a majority of your driving is for street use. I drive my car to the track and can tell you that the AR1's are like driving on ice during a rain......awful. If you have a second set of rims and only use these on a track days, then these are a must....they have tremendous grip and are on the lower end of cost per tire. As it appears you are a Florida resident as well, you have 4 great tracks to visit, Daytona, Sebring, PBIR and Homestead. Look at Hooked on Driving or Performance Driving Group as both of these organizations rent these tracks and offer driving days.
Scott S Motorsports of Palm Beach sounds perfect thank you for the feedback. Thank you I’ve only had it almost 2 years now. It’s super fun to drive and that v8 sounds amazing. Hope to see you at a track day in the future buddy.
Yes, have run PBIR, Sebring, Homestead and Daytona with all tire set ups. Although the appearence of the Nankang AR1 looks like it should provide better lap times, it does not have the precise feel that the Goodyear F1 RRR provides. I like the AR1's and still buy them for both the GT350 and GT500 because it provides a great value for stickyness, treadwear and cost. If I want the better lap times, I go with the Goodyears F1 RRR but they are more expensive...the difference is between 1 and 2 seconds per lap
Great catch....the are 11 inch wide to take the P305 tire size....they would not fit on 10 inch wide rims. So I pulled the order of the P51s and they were 2 19x11 with the +24 offset and 2 19x11 with the +50 offset. Again, thanks for the catch!!!!
I am still using them and track the car weekly, so they have held up very well. I am hoping they will come out with a set for the GT500 so I can put them on that car as well.
OK, so I have had multiple sets of tires on the car and they survive multiple track days. I track my car every week at PBIR in Palm Beach Florida and the track is VERY hard on tires, particularly the right front.I generally get 6 sessions with 10 to 12 laps per session 4 times before having to replace the set. I do rotate the tires from left to right after each event and use the squared set up - all 4 tires are the P305's. Hope this helps. Scott

Have you been to Sebring or Daytona with this setup? If so, how did it do?

Why 305's on 10's and not 11's ?🤔

How did the p51's hold up for ya
I am still using them and track the car weekly, so they have held up very well. I am hoping they will come out with a set for the GT500 so I can put them on that car as well.
How are the durability of these after the season?
