What I find interesting, is that Lux lives in a pristine and lavish looking city you find as the equivalent to something you find in Disney but no, the way they treat mages of any age shows that they get treated as abominations and those in power with their magic hidden get away with whatever they want. Lux was born lucky into a noble family to keep her magic a secret, yet feared what would happen if she were caught. While her family meanwhile are shocked that a member of the crownguards is born a mage, her parents and brother will do everything to protect her while her other relatives will either exploit and manipulate her as tool like the mageseekers or just expose her to gain rank and status. Lux tries to help people like until she helped someone who would further push back what she’s trying to do for mages. Lux was born lucky and she used her good nature to help people, meanwhile Jinx was born unlucky yet tried to help people and it only caused nothing but tragedy and instead trying to do something to atone for that she just fell deeper into insanity whereas Lux still tries to make up for what Sylas did Yet some young lad named Ezreal is simping for her when she doesn’t know him, never met him and has never even dated him. Hell he probably jerks off to the thought of her with him in bed, I mean just look at the mess of his room.
Lux may not have been a prisoner like other mages but she went through something far worse: slavery. Forced to comply to obscene and corrupt order & endure self inflicted phsycological grief is far more horrendous even still she believes & loves her home for what it could be not what it is and given the uncertainty of the situation fight unless its absolutely necessary is a comndable choice. So while Lux has clear cut flaws, she still has a heart and wants whats best for everyone thats why shes such great character.
Isn't he like MUCH older than her ? Like in the comic he said he was imprisoned 11 years ago and he was like 20 or more so he's in his 30s and she was 19 in the comic. That's.. yeah..
