If you got the Realms of Runeterra book, there's exclusive short stories for (almost) every region, and Demacia's actually focuses on her training as a Vanguard.
I think there's potential, but I could care less if Cithria becomes a champ.
She is one of the cards I really want on the rift.

I like difference with which Darius and Garen speak with their soldiers.
Darius is brutal badass warhost which will lead his army to victory by any cost. And Garen is true motivator which will inspire you fight to the last.
Well that was quite accurate how darius and garen works in lol.

Garen is going to tank he ass so hard that everyone rage quite for broken computer
Actually I get the feeling Darius is A LOT more like Garen than people care to admit. He speech is less elegant but go re watch the noxus interactions video and look how he addresses the dauntless vanguard and the generals. Way more to the point and gruff but a lot of his interactions are during battle
RevRun It really is interesting. At first glace, Darius is like the antagonist to Garen, but through the lore, you learn Demacia isnt “the good guys” in the same way Noxus isnt “the bad guys”. Through Darius’ history and development, he really is a lot like Garen, in motivation, patriotism/nationalism, and family. A nice contrast to the hulking, brutal warrior he is made out to be.
