I just recieved a Bose 600 today it was finishing install stopped froze turned red light now nothing. Can't get it to reset. All these complicated solutions to hook up your laptop downloaded fixes etc. My god this is a pricey product in the first place this software is embarrassing.

If anyone wondering the bose smart ultra soundbar update is on the remote hold music button and + volume and it will go into search for update mode, then t ake 20-30 minutes to update flashing white bar.
Do you have the steps for the new Ultra soundbar? The white light has been sliding from right to left (downloading status as per Bose manual) for hours. Bose support couldn't help so got a replacement new unit from the store & the second one is doing the same. Internet speed seems to around 91Mbps. Any help would be appreciated.

The update took 1.5 days and support was worth human waste. SONY has amazing alternatives. Think about it. Harman Kardon maybe?
This thing is pain in the a** ! Hopefully I did the update with IP address (the guy from Bose told me to do it) and it worked wonders ! If you're using a Mac and safari, be careful to disable "auto open safe files" because it will corrupt the zip file :)
My Soundbar 300 had a firmware update and it took about 15 minutes to update from v10.0.15 to v11.0.10 At first I thought it was this issue, so I left it running before following these instructions. Seemed like it took an age but the sliding white led bar extinguished after around 10 minutes, soundbar rebooted and then the sliding led bar displayed again for a further few minutes followed by the 2 short pulsating white light to indicate power on and my soundbar was updated.
On the remote I just held Volume up and Music buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds to force checking for update. This worked. Going from v11.0.10 to V12.0.11 I used the Direct IP method as the Soundbar would not find the update using the above method. But... I don't believe my issue was the one in this video thinking back. I didn't consider that the updates would take an excessive amount of time, giving me the impression that the update light was stuck. No exaggeration, it can really take in access of 10 minutes to update.

Hey bro, when I pluged in the computer with the USB, the speaker always in connected-disconnects-connected and so on, so I can't complete the manual uploads on that webside (it will be disconnected when uploading)
I did go the page and uploaded "product_update.zip" file and when clicked on next, the file uploads, the white light status remains the same even after waiting for 2-3 hours.

One thing i have seen is my bose sound bar when put to reset (after the green light blinks ) the white light automatically moves from left to right, this time when i see my wireless stat i see my bose is connected and automatically sending and receiving packets, after almost around 350,000 packets it stops and after sometime the mac id disappers and then comes back this time not much packets are sent, very few packets are sent and received and finally it dissapers. And nothing happens, the white light keeps moving from left to right

You are assuming that the Soundbar is recognized by your wifi network. If it isn’t discovered by your network, it cannot go i to service mode. The htp web page will NOT open up since the soundbar is NOT connected to your wifi. THIS IS NOT A FIX!!!
You can connect sound bar with wif If your sound bar not connected with wifi or internet sound bar will not update automatically.so the white light problem will not occur

It will open a page in the browser , ther you can update Locate the upgrade file you downloaded then start upgrading If your 2d link not showing any upgrade contact customer service again they will send you a new link
