See the locomotive you inspired me to build on my fartbook page and the other half on the my youtube channel This is your doing .. dont be ashamed Thanks for your teaching I started 7 1/2 years ago or so it's noo match to yours in its construction or video making. My wife says my train looks like a train that an crotchety old man would be YELLING! out of! That's a good sign? Right? She's been my biggest support this whole time ❤️
I'm so happy to see some "traction" with this project! I'm looking forward to updates! It is funny how the 3 main people I am following with love steam builds are also following each other. Mr Crispin, Blondi and yourself.
Hi Peter, hope you are well. That steam up in our old garden was a great day. This is the first time the engine has been steamed since it ran on your boiler! Cheers mate.
It is! We ensured it was heated evenly and relatively slowly on the turntable surrounded by insulating bricks. We were very surprised how quickly the copper conducted the heat away. Especially when we were soldering the tube core into the boiler barrel.
Thanks for the latest video Im glad i checked in. Take care Sir

Good to see you back Craig!
What a beauty! Love the turntable idea 👍🏻
It was a necessity! We needed to heat it as evenly as possible.
I've been wanting to build something similar. Coal fired but in a 5" shell. Copper prices are a bit insane lately. Good inspiration!
Good to see you been a long time

@no23mk2 I'm fine thanks. You made a good job of the boiler.
That’s a huge heat sink that you’re working with
