@@V.marchese wasn’t too bad actually. I need to look into adjusting them. I was struggling to get the little tube to stop leaking but figured out I just wasn’t getting it hot enough. I was afraid it would destroy it
What really sucks is when the air handler is horizontal and that dang plastic pan sits directly beneath that equalizer tube. I won’t braze them in there. I cut the old one close it with silphos, and move equalizer tube to new location…usually outside the air handler.
Would you recommend change the txv if i get a bad compresor?or only when the txv its bad. Thanks for your answer i follow your twp channels this one and vato de climatizacion, sigue con tu español carnal
10" adjustable wrenches!
I'm impressed!
same as you had before just different temp conditions, but a hell of a job replacing that exp without taking the coil out.nice video.
What do mean taking the coil out. You do not take a coil out for that repair.
They got me doing a txv tomorrow. I never done one before. Hopefully it goes well
Well?

Looks like the insulation was on fire what happen to your heat shield cloth
What are the symptoms of a restricted TXV?
Low pressure on suction line with high superheat
Pumping down
What piston are you blowing out?
Not so bad in the upflow position
What size torch tip are you using and is that the industry recommended?
I don’t remember. I’ve bought multiple different sizes.
Did you pump it down without gauges?
Yeh, I did.
Sometimes I pump down by ear also....but if Txv is bad you won't be able to pump it down 100 percent. Experience counts
@@renecuevas4128wont pump down with a bad INDOOR txv i assume?
I said the same but I'm like he knows his stuff that's the only way
@@HVACGUYwhat are the steps to pump down? Any advise?
Hvac guy, are you looking for any help?....I have all tools needed...
