Terrible demo for what I think looks like a very nice amp, player looks utterly uninterested in what he's doing and is frankly dialling in a very pretentious performance. I agree with what others have said already, stop with the showy, useless slap and tap crap and start playing as you would in a band - that's the real test of a setup, not what you'd do playing solo in yer room. Much prefer Norm Stockton's demos for Gallien, the guy looks enthusiastic and also genuinely uses the gear when he's working.
+redrick2030 I play thru one. Strictly Rock n Roll Bro!!! I can attest that these amps kick ass!!! Unfortunately this is the cacophony that you hear for 4 days throughout the NAMM show regardless of what bass booth you stop at. ROCK IS NOT DEAD!!!
+redrick2030 it's like when I look at guitar amp demos and it's 20 minutes of leads with no rhythm playing or palm mutes what so ever and then they say "now go and spend $1,000 plus, thanks for watching"
this guy is obviously a talented bassist but it would be more helpful to hear bass lines in different styles that are actually played on gigs. some 1/4-1/2-whole notes pizzicato would be cool.
+impulseproman They kick on when they need to. Cant hear em through speakers. Id rather hear the fan occasionally than have my Amp over heat then hear nothing at all.
Fans are annoying because they produce an odd mix of frequencies. No, you can't hear the fan while playing, but in the non playing moments while rehearsing or practicing, they can conflict with the sounds you are trying to hear or imagine.
Why do they always test these amps with 10 inch speakers??? real rock bands need real bottom end and not every bass player likes that slappy trebly tone.

Why doesn't anybody ever play real rock 'n roll bass in these demos. It's always trebly, slappy, poppy garbage

+redrick2030 Fully agree... give her a push! with a pick and aggressive fingers towards the bridge! Best way to hear the tubiness

The long fingernails are a little too much
Why do neither of them seem to want to be there?
What's the name of the bass cab?
Trip RuleZ!

Is there any reason why the bass was recorded so quietly. Can't hear the tonality of the amplifier at all, just the string buzz.
+Kyle Yordy Check out Norm Stockton's demo
I understand one customer complain about the Fan on this unit are loud can anyone confirm. because am looking to buy this bass Head

I still route everything below 100 Hz through an 18” woofer in my rig.
Bass operator? Hahah. Sounds good.
+Keith Camplin Beats being called a "bassist" for sure ;-)
Dude, your not Mitch! Sub par video for Sweetwater.
