Trip - could you do a demo of the Plex through the MBP cabs? Both the MBP112, then two MBP112’s, and then finally the MBP410 cab? That would be so appreciated. Trying to decide on the purchase - I own the Plex but haven’t been able to demo any of the MBP’s!
Am I right in thinking the DI signal is pre master levels? If so, that renders the whole channel A/B thing useless if you want a clean tone and an overdrive tone. When you switch them you'd get a massive volume change through the PA. That seems very odd to me.
I have this head myself, a stupid loud amp, very clean.........one of the rare amps that is a true 1u size. Not a fan of the farty overdrive sounds, but that is what pedals are for....
fattyjaybird of what I own? I have an Ampeg SVT VR that sounds best to my ears cranked a bit loud......if lower volume, I have a Mojotone 50 watt bass amp that I built awhile ago. Speakers (referring to the physical speaker itself), Eminence and Faital. As far as speaker size, 12”.
