From what little I understand of soldering it seems like the tube would create a heat sink inside the hollow core. If she use the wire that solid shaft would conduct heat to the tip and that’s create the ball she’s looking for.

Jessica, I noticed all your graduates seem to be using a pin vice to drill, why do they not use the pendant motor? Im sure you have a good answer, can't wait to understand that particular alternate route choice to drill a hole. Great series, somebody had to do an ongoing version of the hit "All that glitters"; this is when it's good to copy another artists vision! A good advert for your school, all rainbows and unicorns (and awards)! Yay for building confidence.
