    Good that Ed is so optimistic about the economy…but am curious to know if he has walked around downtowns in big cities and seeing more and more Space Available signs and empty buildings

      Economy and the markets are not at all the same thing!

      It's Jimmy Connor, thanks for the comment and for taking the time to view our content! I recently interviewed someone on commercial real estate and what's happening there is shocking. San Fran currently has a 35% vacancy rate versus 5% before the pandemic. It's a house of cards.

    Wow. Everything is fine, everything is fine, everything is fine. Don't worry about your finances. Unemployment revision after the reports. Go look. Also productivity yes absolutely I am working 50 to 60hr weeks for the same paycheck.

    He was bullish like this back in 1999/2000 right before the crash.

    Consumers are getting discouraged? hahahaha Many now have to choose between eating and paying the rent/mortgage.

    We are frogs gently simmering in water and the heat is the massive debt that this country (and its citizens) carry. Who knows when we will hit boiling point, but when we do, the dollar will fall dramatically and we will go into a depression. This scenario could take years to play out but it’s always there “behind the scenes” doing more and more damage as time goes on.

    What nonsense. 70% of the us economy is consumer spending but the consumer;
    Has record debt, record delinquency on that debt, rector high auto repos, record low savings. By no metric is the consumer in good shape and many say we are already in recession

      It's Jimmy Connor, thanks for the comment John! If people cant afford a cup of coffee or a $5 Happy Meal you know things are bad. It was interesting to see the horrific numbers out of AirBNB. People are not travelling either.

    Does this man know anything about yield curves and what happens when they un-invert?? Hopefully in the future you get more guests that are more knowledgeable in macroeconomics than this fool.
    I bet he doesn’t even know how to read a chart because if he did he would know that unemployment is starting to rise rapidly.
    He might learn something if he looked at Jeffery P Snider TH-cam videos.
    Thats a man that knows what is happening in the economy.

    • @doleo_metal
      @doleo_metal 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Bullshit. When did he say that? I recall him accurately predicing the inflation top. You can actually check my facts. He said it in January 2022 when the market started to dump. He said inflation would peak in the summer, and that's exactly what happened.

    USA GOV PRINTS 2+ TRLN $ PER YEAR additional money to spend! USA debt is over $ 35 trln,.
    USA interest on debt is biggest item in gov expenses! over 1 $ trln.
    USA already spends about 25% of revenues to only service debt!

    It does matter which party is in power. It matters for the environment. It matters for women and minorities and wages and drug prices and cannabis freedom. It matters for the working poor and retirees. It matters a lot which party is in power.

      @BloorStreetCapital 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's Jimmy Connor, thanks for the comment Tim and for taking the time to view our content! In the short term political policies like the IRA might have a short term impact but in the long term, politics don't matter. It's the men and women who wake up everyday and work their butts off providing for their families that makes the difference. This is why the stock market and the economy continue to grow over time.
