It’s a replica of the original BMW street carver, circa 2001, it won several design awards. The “trucks” are based on BMW 5 Series chassis. It was also featured in the 2003 movie Agent Cody Banks staring Frankie Muniz.
@@jessedesens5845 Yep I had one myself! For it’s time their was nothing else like it, both in innovation and price. I saved my $20’s, walked into the BMW dealership and paid ca$h! 😆
I got a mad deal on LetGo for mine. Then I reached out to Haggy Wheels and they cut me a 'scratched' discount. The whole set up ran me about 1/3 the original price tag. I have plans to convert mine into a belt-drive, eventually. The company I got my wheels from also sells motors. Haggyboards.com is where I got my wheels for the Beamer.
Additionally the sort of peaked shape of original rubber tires. Played a huge role in the geometry of the wheels & suspension as they leaned into corners allowing contact at extreme angles. You really rode this board like a snowboard either on your toes or on your heels.
It looks just like my BMW Street Carver, but motorized. I've been looking to have mine motorized with belt drives. This one with the hub wheels looks awesome. The 155mm wheels make it easier to handle difficult terrain, whereas my Street Carver has 145mm All-Terrain Haggy Wheels. Originally, the BMW Street Carver reigned as the most expensive skateboard from 2001-2005, until e-Sk8Boards became available on the market. It featured 110mm rubberized wheels on a design that looked exactly like this one by TeamGee. One design flaw in the Street Carver is it's low clearance to the ground, often resulting in the 'trucks' bottoming out if you tried to get over a speed bump.
I always wondered how the BMW Carver Skateboard would be if converted to electric. Thank you Teamgee for making that happen. It seems a great board for sure.
Ronnie Paul here from Michigan take that board that you got this like on stilts and take it in the dirt and tear on do a little carving with holding on to the side of the board and stuff and power sliding it and whatnot
I never rode a electric skateboard, but i enjoyed this video and your style of presentation. It's characteristics really reminded me of surfing back home in Hawaii.
Ya he’s given me advice for electric skateboards he should have more subscribers and comments oh and Ronnie it your seeing this just know that your one of the reasons why I got a Electric skateboards love your vids man!!!!!
I saw a version of this from Gotway 2 or 3 years ago. It's great to see somethin different. *More range if you ride on the Moon* 😂 Thanks for the shout out man ✊🏼 You guys gotta jump on Ronnie's Twitch streams
Ok so this is for anyone to answer, I have a halo board beast with the 120 mm cloudwheels but I want like bigger air filled tires. Any recommendations?
Quick question, I’m thinking about buying an electric skateboard. But I’m stuck between these two: Ownboard W2 Pro Meepo NLS Pro Can you help me decide?
Hey good work kabayan keep up the good work , one question , r u using any external audio recorder to narrate your videos or it's coming straight from the insta 360 mic ? Pls lmk
Cool, but $2K? Huh uh. It better get up and cook me breakfast for that. These companies are nuts charging prices like that - it's an electric skateboard not a BMW.
It is but it seems that it never took off and TeamGee picked up the design. They changed the motor from 500W to 600W and changed the deck from a metal one to a carbon fiber one.
There was another one exactly like this on kick starter few months ago, was all silver, I can’t remember the name, any help? And it’s not BMW , maybe carver, or Beast, damm it ... it’s on the tip of my tung
Update: this thing doesn't have a traditional suspension, it has an elaborate steering system. It rides very rough and you can feel every little bump and crack, because the board has no bounce to it. I am going to try to swap out the thin solid rubber tires with some honeycomb/airless rubber tires.
Yeah this board is shit and team gee is a scam company. They build the absolute worst quality products and will not back you with any customer service your battery will die after a couple of months most likely and none of their boards me even close to their advertised specs
@@HuyTran-sk3py Was just watching now in the future. Super obvious it has no suspension. Such a useless design and it’s unfortunate that people fell for it.
False advertisement, it does not have an independent suspension. It does not have a suspension at all, you can feel every little bump on the road. It only has a unique steering system.

The trucks design looks like either a copy or inspired from BMW 2003 skateboard which they sold at their car dealerships for a limited time. If you search it up on YT there are a few vids out there.
I think the trucks should be able to fold to the bottom of the skateboard for people who go to school or work and need to stow it somewhere until they can get to it later.
Do the trucks lead to an overall smoother ride on bumpy roads. You said you were getting foot fatigue pretty early on. I have 175mm pneumatic tires because of how bad the roads and sidewalks are where I live, this thing looks like it should be a strict upgrade from that but after watching your video I’m not so sure.
Dual 600W? With big wheels? How is that not underpowered going uphill!? Trucks do look great,👍 it probably would benefit from some good pneumatic wheels.
I legit had zero interest in getting an electric skateboard, before seeing this. Got a onewheel, but this looks like it would cover a lot more terrain than any other e- board I've seen
@@stephanemassa157 what's wrong with quality? I've contacted them and asked wether the trucks wobble covered by warranty or not and they've been dodging the answer.
I had a board like that just alot slower. That thing weights like a ton. A regular wooden electric skateboard works just the same without the weight and height.
I was encouraged to buy a electric longboard a year ago after watching all these videos. The board broke after a week of use (never crashed it) and I'm still paying it off. And here I am again. Which camera did you use to make this video? Insta360 One X, maybe?

There's no way he can't 😂 it's sooo f****** good
I think if you had a gopro mounted under the board pointed at the trucks that would give a good view of them in action!
They do absolutely nothing for absorbing shock, you feel every crack on the road.
Looks like the suspension from a Warthog in the classic Halo games.

Wow that board has a nice turn radius

Yoooo this board is interesting. I’ll finish watching the video after work but man I like it. Gotta see your opinion on this.
Just wanna ask... what about when you ride uphill?
What are you using for filming these types of shots?
did they buy the company behind traqpod? Or did they copy?

And its true!!

Has anyone tried Major Arc trucks? I replaced the front trucks on my short board with them and they are oddly very nice.
Can you do a full review on the bustin boards

Damn right they copy completely the drive train, glad to see this advanced with electric motors.

Extremely rough ride.
looks great but I don’t like the fact is so high from the ground, lower to the ground like a trampa is key for stability
You should do a review of the zealot s then do a durability test of the trucks because I have seen peoples trucks break and heard it too.
