The DADGAD tuning really made playing this tune a lot better, just sounds right. I wonder if this is how the Beatles played it? Thanks for posting, great job!!!
I love this!! I have been playing for about 8 months and this opened my eye's to some real creativity. Can you give us some more dadgad lossons!! I have the same guitar.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love this lesson. Never had so much fun playing a Beatles song. This sounds terrific and is a lot of fun, just like you said. What a great idea for a video--a seriously good one! I am going to keep one of my acoustic guitars in DADGAD tuning from now on and this is going to be one of the songs that I play regularly.
Came upon your lesson after reading some forum posts on the GS Mini, which I have in Mahogany. Great, helpful video (both this one and the Eric Clapton one) - really appreciate your lesson - thanks, and subscribed.
i think you could play one of the open D strings for the E minor (just before the A minor7 at the end) - makes it an Eminor7 which a lot of people play there . i think it sounds better and is easier to play in your tuning
Great easy lesson, (and I need easy!), because of this lesson am now exploring more DADGAD songs. Thank You
Another excellent tutorial, and that Taylor sounds fantastic!
Thanks
Really thanx a lot! I'm playin' and enjoyin' it a lot!
Lots of opportunities to noodle off this progression/melody. Thanks.
