Hei, i switched from 330 front to 350mm and 330 ventilated discs in the rear on my 320 cdi, i think i ll get the larger ones 375 mm as it seems to be direct retrofit without any changes, what model is yours?
I respect your modesty but those are restoration and mechanical engineering skills that could enable many apprentices. USA has a healthy DIY culture but it is sad to see so many good cars scrapped. I need help with W211 4matic front air strut. I dont mind replacing it but want to understand the leaking mechanism better. I have two OEM struts for the same model car but I am uncertain how to disassemble. I found a great link to a Russian mechanical who tour one down but I lost. Not a request for help but if you have a link to suggest, I would be grateful.
@@mymercrepairs1097 It is possible to buy strut components from China, for example, but not much detail on how they are used. Please no rush...you have already been so helpful.
A dedicated lubricant must be used for rubber elements, I mostly use ATE products. The rails should be lubricated as they can stick and jam the brake caliper. I have never had any problems with the brakes that I service. Once a year, I change the brake pads after 20000-30000 km
This dude is brakes specialist this is the best brake job I've seen 👏
Excellent. Thank you

Perfect Job Thanks
Amazing craftsmanship!
Thank you but it's not a big deal :)
Amazing Job Brother 🙏🏽 Recently Painted My ML350 W164 Brake Calipers As Well! Wish I Painted My Brakes Red ⛽️⛽️
Thanks. I admit that I was thinking about the color for a long time, I was afraid if the red would fit well, but I don't regret it

действительно хорошо тормозит. Какие тормоза можно поставить на заднюю ось?
Was it necessary to adjust ABS or ESP or just switch from 330mm on to 375mm brakes? Looks masiv. How is the break function now?

Do you mean removing the front shock absorber and airmatic airbag?
@@mymercrepairs1097 Thank you for the reply. No... I want to see the "internals" of the strut... a break down

@@mymercrepairs1097 Thank you
get those rims cleaned now and u ready to go
Never use ANY kind of lube on this type of guide pins. There is dry friction. Never use this bosch grease on any rubbers - it will ruined it
