- I did a solo backpacking trip to the summit of Mt. Baldy aka Mt. San Antonio. This is a great hike! Mount Baldy is the highest peak in the area. It's actually the highest summit in Los Angeles County. Hiking this trail was beautiful. Camping here was challenging but fun! I did the trail loop clockwise starting at Manker Flat(campground). Day 1 i went up the ski hut trail side. Day 2 I returned to Manker Flat via the Devil's Backbone Trail.

Great job, incredible views! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks bro 🤜🤛
the most extraordinary view but when I go up for sunrise not a cloud in site 😐. looks amazing though I hope you enjoyed every second of that hike!
I did enjoy it. It was pretty special. And nice to have it all to myself. One of my fav trips I’ve done.
Being up there in the clouds is like being alone in the world. So quiet and beautiful. Then to look down to clouds below you and finally to see a view!!!!!!! Bliss. No view is as beautiful as one you've earned by climbing up to it. Well done. We did Ryan Mountain 2 years ago after a snow that had gotten PACKED down and was still 3" thick in shade. It was scary. Super crowded trail too. I was surprised and then some German hikers said they'd planned their trip for a long time and couldn't change it. There's a nice hike north of Pioneertown that we've hiked in snow too, but the path was wider and it wasn't as slippery. Since it's less traveled, it hadn't been packed into ice so that helped. I'm glad we connected on IG!
yes! I couldn't have said it better myself! It's such an awesome experience!
Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you 😁

You’re welcome 🤜🤛
Not in the winter
Yes winter can be dangerous. Especially if it’s snowing 🌨️
I want to do that soon....🌄🏕
You should. You won’t regret it. It’s pretty tough but well worth it!
Awesome video
Thanks so much. I appreciate that! 🙏
What month was this?
It was in October. Couple years ago.
I'm heading out here this weekend, are there any permits required? And are there campsites, or is it dispersed camping? Great video!
There or no permits required. Are you planning on camping on the summit? There’s not necessarily campsites but there are a handful of windbreaks built with rocks that most people used to shelter themselves from wind and to set up their tents. Might notice it in the video.
You think it’s still a good time to go out there now?
Yes I think so. No snow there yet.
