It was longer creating all the links, but really reminded me how much these trucks cost! It's all worth it though and hopefully it helps someone out there!
Thanks for the great comments! the E Tap is a great idea, and I wish I would have come up with it! As for the total cost in the SCX10..........WAY TOO MUCH! Ballpark, probably about $1200 or so. I really don't want to add it up!
Hey man! Long time no talk, been busy. I see your channel has grown more popular! Keep up the nice work! I'm not doing to bad myself with the XT2e on my channel. Thanks again for the tips. I'm not much into slow rock crawlers as I am into speed and drifters, but I look forward to some running vids!
You have helped alot. Your videos are always helpful. I subscribed. And got a honcho! Love it. Me an my son burn through a couple lipo charges a day. Now were building a huge course. About 15 feet done. But anyway thanks for the video.
jpaugh4 Thanks Jp! The Axial SCX10 is one of the best platforms. Very versatile and great from box stock to overly modified. The best part of RC is connecting with your son and teaching him some real world common sense and how things work. Something that many of today's kids are lacking.
Thanks for the great comments! Not in marketing, although, I've always wanted to be in marketing.........Running vids to come. trying to get some camera issues solved!
Yep, I shot a bunch with the 1.9" version, but having an issue with my "on the trail" camera. All the footage is "locked" through a program on one of my laptops. Just need to edit it down. I will start shooting the Bronco here in a few days.
Yeah, I posted it last week. I think it's going for $1,200 for everything. I want to start some new projects and there's a lot of money tied up there. I also want to invest in some new camera equipment, as I have been given an opportunity in the RC industry.
I checked into it a bit......Looks like the XR10 is discontinued or at least just out of stock on all the big sites. Looks like retail was about $300 for the kit and about $200 at the big places. The FX/55's are about $120 per combo and the Hitec 7954 is about $120 normally. Considering the very little wear on it, I think it's a decent buy. I'm talking all in USDollars, though. I'm not a very big comp crawler guy, but if I were, it would b the XR10!
Very nice build Rich and excellent review as always. I'v got a SCX10 Dingo kit on the way. I'll be running a 21.5t brushless sensored system. I'll mainly be using it as a trail rig but would like to try a bit of crawling too. What size pinion would you recommend starting with? Would you recommend 2S or 3S lipo power?
I always run 3s in my trail rigs, but I gear down and run typically 35-45t motors. With a 21.5t, I would run 2s and stick with a 16-18t pinion to start and see how you like the wheel speed. It will be fast though. Be careful crawling as the 21.5t won't have the torque that a 35-45t motor will have
The RCNetwork Thanks for the advice Rich, much appreciated. From what I've read, the kit comes with a 20t pinion? I better order some smaller pinions if you're recommending 16-18t.
Great looking SCX10 build, but can it crawl? I've taken a few of your mods for myself. Thanks for the time, expense, work for putting this together for all of us.
dude i saw ur axial on craigslist! :O ur selling it and i want that thing soooooo badly! to bad i dont have enough because id hit with an offer right away! D; me wantsss!
Thanks Jeff, I appreciate the nice comments!
I don't blame you for not wanting to add it up. Thanks for taking the time to make videos for us.

No Problem! I actually enjoy showing the TH-cam world some cool RC's. It also helps grow the hobby a bit!

No, I will do some lighting, but the Vanquish wouldn't fit all the way across. Maybe the 6" Vanquish
Thanks!

Yeah, I'm just going off of a stock SCX10 has a 27t motor and it's pretty quick with a 20t
Great looking SCX10 build, but can it crawl? I've taken a few of your mods for myself. Thanks for the time, expense, work for putting this together for all of us.
Very nice truck. thanks for all the links. I was very interested in that t-tap connector. Any idea on how much money you have spent?
So the only thing left stock was the frame lol?
+znovosad555 Practically! lol
Nice lol. Only thing that's gonna stay stock online is esc and reciever lol. I got more to still do on mine
And the frame of course lll
Have you thought of putting your LED lights on your bronco? I personally think it would look sick I'd you did man.
