First off.. there is no question the Chargers need to add another running back or 2.. but Elliott isn’t a viable answer in my opinion. Melvin Gordon is available still.. Will they go get him too? As far as the people who question Herbert because he hasn’t won a playoff game, they obviously don’t know what they need to know about the lack of pieces around him that has made it impossible for him to have as much success as he would like. It’s definitely not his fault they hired Staley and didn’t get the right players for the team to have playoff success yet. Those people will soon see the best of Herbert and some playoff success now that Harbaugh is here.

As much as I hate to say it, as long as Reid and Mahomes are around, the SB entrant from the AFC has to pass through KC. Many a great QB never made it when Brady was dealing. That being said, if JH wins round one, then they can exhale a bit. They have the right coach, the team is rounding into shape as a major player for real now. As in any championship run. luck and health are involved, and even though KC almost ran the table this year, they are kinda ripe for the picking. As far as the people who question Herbert because he hasn’t won a playoff game, they obviously don’t know what they need to know about the lack of pieces around him that has made it impossible for him to have as much success as he would like. It’s definitely not his fault they hired Staley and didn’t get the right players for the team to have playoff success yet. Those people will soon see the best of Herbert and some playoff success now that Harbaugh is here.

Their will always be the haters between the fans of other teams and the biased talking heads always talking their shit or saying some bad takes about herbert herbert has just done crazy good things since he has been in the nfl he is breaking records every season now he isnt doing that just being lucky he is breaking records that puts him in the same categorys as tom brady and peyton manning and QBs like thise guys he had the most passing yards in the first 5 seasons of any QBs career and the least interceptions with like 500 or passing attempts and a bunch of other records im not thinking of right now and I know that records and stats dont mean shit when playoff wins and super bowl rings is the main goal of any player especially for QBs but the talking heads are always gonna be biased and making up excuses for this that and the other for when it comes to herbert he could win 1or2 superbowls and their probably is still gonna be haters making excuses or something for whatever they can come up with its crazy redicolous herbert is top 5 and thats just the bottom line period they dont ever want to put things into context and stuff like that herbert was put in the worst situation possible for being one of the top QBs in the nfl he had horrible coaching and horrible team product around him for his first 4 seasons the worst defense possible he could help the offense put up 40 points and the team would still lose the game it was crazy and he also had a really bad GM tom telesco was really bad people think he was good but he wasnt he could get some good 1dt round picks but after that it was a lot of nothing for helping the team from the 2nd round to the 7th he had tons of misses on players a ton of misses and his free agents were super bad to he would occasionaly get some big name guys but he would always overspend for past production and it would just lead to the guys getting paydays but doing nothing for the team staley and tom telesco were dragging this team down really badly and finally all that is done and the franchise is in good hands now with harbaugh and joe hortiz jesse minter is a great DC ryan ficken is a great special teams cordinator greg roman has been fine not the greatest but he has been decent and he has been getting better and having a lot of good position coaches have really helped this team too like nick hardwick for the o-line and bowman teaching the linebackers and klinkscal or however you spell it has done a great job with the secondary its crazy how good of a staff jim harbaugh got in the building in juat his first year and what im really hoping is since harbaugh is 61 bow he will probably do his whole contract he signed like the 5 seasons or whatever im hoping they can do whatever it takes to keep jesse minter around the whole time and then he can succeed jim when he is done and it can be a seemless transition after learning under harbaugh all the time and just being already a super great DC I think he could take over for harbaugh when he is done and be a great head coach and im sure eventually he wants to be a head coach but nost of the time their really isnt a good spot to go to it would be perfect for him to tske over for jim after like 5 seasons or however long he coaches here for he would have the best situation for minter to inherit this team from harbaugh ans stick with hortiz as the GM and already have a good team built and have herbert here if they can take carr of him and keep minter happy the whole time it would be perfect for everybody cus of he did leave after 2 or 3 seasons most likely he is gonna end up in a bad team with no QB the good to great teams do those kind of things keep their great cordinators around for a long time and have minter be the head coach when harbaugh is done I dont see jim coaching till 70 I can see him doing his current contract of 5 seasons he be 65 or 66 then and let jesse minter take over that would be ideal for this franchise and hopefully we have 1or2 super bowl rings in the next 5 or 6 years thats what im hoping for
