Lol- funny because I thought “oh his thumbnail is very kollman-esque.” Grossi is annoying and overrated. His voice drives me insane and his bits aren’t even all that funny. Seems like a really good human being so all the best, but yeah.
I think we can all agree that Bills vs Lions is the most satisfying outcome which is precisely why it will be Eagles vs Chiefs just to piss everyone off
You have to favor the Ravens but remember that we're talking playoff Lamar. And playoff Lamar is terrible. As the pressure rises, and the team leans more and more on the QB, Lamar does not respond well.
@@angrydrunkengerman2819 I watched Lamar torch the Bengals twice in shootouts against a better "pure passing" QB with far better weapons Over the past 2 seasons he probably has the best stats and record against playoff teams in the league There is no evidence that he plays worse in big games, he just gets tight in the playoffs sometimes
@@angrydrunkengerman2819 That narrative is so tired. If you've watched him over the past few playoffs vs this season you can see how he's on another level as a passer. And the gameplan against the Chiefs was horrible. And still almost won. If Zay Flowers doesn't have a stupid rookie fumble they win the game. And didn't even play great
If the eagles get the bucs again and lose again that would be a sick joke and eagles fans might just hate the bucs for the rest of their life 😂 feels like this is the year for the eagles if they’re going to win another one any time soon
Loving the background/setup Marcus. Been a loyal listener since I was back in highschool in 2017. Can remember the 2018 draft videos like it was yesterday. Loved the content then and still do now. Congrats
The take on the Bills Lions rematch is valid. But, counterpoint is Anzalone who is the QB and intagible heart of the defense is back and will only get healthier. And, if reports are to be believed, Hutchinson and Barnes are on track to be playing in the SB. Hutch is Hutch, and Barnes was clutch for the Lions last postseason. Does that sway your thoughts at all on the rematch with 3 main contributors added to the Lion's D who were on IR the first time?
My thoughts exactly. The whole reason the Bills won is because they got a nice early lead, and that happened because detroits practice squad LBs couldn’t cover anything whatsoever. I believe all of Allen’s first 100 passing yards went to RBs and TEs. Detroit having Anzalone back would be absolutely huge (not to mention that hutch would give us at least one d-lineman quick enough to actually run down Josh Allen
Thanks for the clarification at 28:40 about re-seeding in the second round. I wasn't going to be the idiot in the comments, but I was doing double/triple takes trying to figure out what the hell happened to the bracket.
I gotta see it to believe it with the bills. Every year since 2020 everyone been saying “this feels like the bills year” or “bills are gonna win it all” and “bills are the team of destiny this year” and they choke, miss FGs to win, lay an egg etc etc. 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Predicted another shoot out in the Super Bowl I don’t think so I think it’ll be low scoring Lions defense has moments of being great so can’t just count on letting them giving up 25+ throughout the playoffs
You said the bills missed a field goal that would have won them the game vs KC last year. That FG would’ve tied the game and given Pat the ball back with 2 minutes left.
If Detroit has Anzalone (played vs Minnesota), Hutch, Barnes and Davis back against the Bills it’s a different game. Not saying they stop the Bills because Allen is amazing. Just saying they get a couple of more stops than last time. The Bills still have to stop the Lions. That won’t be easy. The team that scares me the most is the Ravens. I’m not sure the Lions have an answer for Lamar and Henry.
Ayyy, I remember back in 2020 when you said Lamar for Burrow would be unfair cause the ravens would be fleecing. Look at the 2x, possible 3x MVP now lmaoooo
Marcus has been making picks since I think 2018. To his credit he has a lot of good picks. But he also has a lot of inaccurate picks. His 2019 Baltimore Ravens deep dive may be his most inaccurate. He had the Ravens as like the 28th best team and Lamar Jackson as the lowest rated starting starting QB in the league. They went 15-1 and their record wasn't dependent on close games. In fairness to Marcus his worst deep dives takes have generally involved a younger unproven QB that greatly exceeded his expectations. Ravens 2019 with Lamar as lowest rated starting QB, Eagles 2022 (he had them 17th and Jalen Hurts as the lowest ranked starting QB), Texans 2023 (he had them 31st and Stroud at 75 I think) and Commanders 2024 (he originally had them 32nd and Jayden as the lowest ranked starting QB).
i just think you’re overreacting to the previous eagles and bucs matchups, the playoff game last year, the eagles (imo) were the worst team in the league at that point, i genuinely believe any team in the nfl would’ve beat them. i think last years playoffs was more of the eagles just being the worst coached team in the league rather than the bucs having their number. and then the matchup earlier this year, it’s hard to really compare that due to how many key injuries the eagles had at that point. i will say the one thing is that Liam Coen and Baker did shred up a relatively healthy Eagles defense BUT to their credit since that point they are a completely different defense, Fangio has them so much better than what they were in week 4.
@@InsightfulMindsInquire hey man, we’ll see. there’s definitely a solid chance that the matchup happens, i just think it’s unfair to look at the Eagles and Bucs recent matchups without context.
I’m telling you the eagles would smoke the Bucs if we see them. They’ve only beaten us when we are injured. They don’t have anyone that can much up with smitty and AJ. Also We are 12-0 this year when fully healthy.
But is it really? The Eagles do NOT want the Bucs coming to the link. Guarantee they're afraid of the Bucs more than any other team aside from Detroit. The Bucs have historically owned the Eagles in the playoffs and they don't match up well.
@@shawnrobinson6641 Hurts has been pretty good against the blitz this year. Considering that and not having half of the offense out, it would be a much more interesting game than what Marcus says.
Personally I think the Lions beat the Bills in a rematch especially in the SuperBowl. Hutch could be back by that point. Monty will be back as well as possibly CB Carlton Davis III. That bodes well for the Lions and they can scheme against the Bills better having played and lost to them. Close game by Lions take the Lombardi in this scenario
I remember when the Bills were going to be 3rd in their division behind the JETS & Dolphins AND miss the playoffs!!! Not bad for a rebuild year huh 😂😂😂
It's gonna be pretty strange if this is the year the Bills pull it off. It would fit in this year's narrative of "the league is just a jumbled mess of good teams and a jumbled mess of terrible teams" but it wouldn't really fit the Bills timeline. So what you get worse on paper and just play better? That would be a good example to explain the volatility of sports to someone actually. Like look this team had a stacked roster and never could quite make it through those last couple games. They take a "roster reset" year and cut a lot of the dead weight off so they can reload in the coming years and all of a sudden it clicks and they go all the way. More I think about it the more I want to see it, even if they wouldn't be my first pick.
Love the conclusion. I would not be surprised if this is Justin Herberts come out party and wrecks your bracket. He has a different energy about him this yr and weapons are starting to click.

I think you’re right about the divisional round being Eagles and Buccaneers. The outcome of the game, that I don’t agree with. To say this game is worst case scenario for Philly would ignore the fact that the Eagles and Hurts are much better now than they were in Week 4 of this year, and ESPECIALLY better than they were in 2023. You can’t just blitz Hurts repeatedly and expect to win out. Definitely not a foregone conclusion, but Philly would be way better in a rematch scenario.
