Every instance where Harstem would say, “With my splits…” I would see three or four Hydras getting shaved off the main army. 😂 Comparatively minor losses, but the comedic timing was perfect.
I’m just a diamond NA Zerg so maybe I’m wrong but I feel like in game 2 after the Terrans wall has been broken, morphing even like 6 lings (ideally more) can be super beneficial for sealing the deal, especially against things like cyclones
The true spine rush was back when spines had the same borrow time as spores and when hatcheries spread creep while building. Cannot remember if it was early Wings Of Liberty or in the beta. They need to bring both changes back. Protoss and Terran need some early game pain. Also let us put spines in Nydus.
Spinerushes a protoss. Protoss builds batteries to defend. 5 minutes later complains about why protoss has so many batteries in their natural. Are you alright mate? :D
Captain, as a spanish viwer i have to tell u: if u say coJones u have to use the J much more, like in jamon or jabali. Cojones is a great word used for many thing an can be usefull in so many situations so please use it the way it is made for. 🍒
Oy since you're rushing out zerglings to breach the walls to make way for the spines, why not banelings for the bust? Need the drones on minerals? Maybe a good idea against Protoss, and not V Terran.
btw the moment you lose with that build is when you move every spine at same time try to always have at least 1 spine siege maybe 2 would even be better and push the third in the back one at the time
@@kurt7937 Based on my own experiences, I played many years before also starting to watch Starcraft videos aside from build order guides. And in that time I always just took gl hf and gg as convenient ways not to having to think about the most appropriate greeting and parting phrases, especially among different language players. I never knew many people took it particularly serious though.
Hamstem I was browsing Instagram and this notification showed up the exact same second I was clicking the top of my screen and brought me here. Don’t do that to me anymore
Whats the win condition here? Watched the first two games and while I'm not good at SC by any means, I just don't understand the counterplay. This kind of stuff probably doesn't happen super often in high rank games, but why? Do you just have to early scout every single game before committing to something? Most of the time the scout would just see the normal build orders and all of a sudden you're down whatever investment, but if you don't scout they can just do this? It feels random almost like rock paper scissors.
or wait. maybe its possible to hold *even with starting a normal build order, but harstem is just goat. I bet if the person proxying screws up micro at all they lose. Still, could someone elaborate?
Its pretty much rock paper scizzors. But if you do manage to hold off the rush, you usually can win if your eco didnt take a hit. I hate getting rushed, when the person beats you, you have to question if they really beat you, or did their build order beat you. A lot of the time the defending player, even if they are better will lose.
@@darekcharlet9214 Both games had some nonperfect building placement, harstem is also talking about this. First game the cannon shouldnt be that exposed, second game had the worlds least useful bunker. Also should have made a cyclone instead of a siege tank
@@darekcharlet9214 This is exactly what it means to "cheese." This is why it's a feature on the channel. "Respectable" macro players play honorably (not rushing out units, playing the meta) which is predictable and allows for time to set up your base. Also remember that Harstem plays at a very high level. His opponents have builds that are mostly protected against cheese. If you can not die early, you win. You see this in game 3 of this video. Harstem knows he lost because he failed the cheese. So, big risk big reward. And it's super fun to watch in my opinion. I hope that helps.
That sneaky little eyebrow raise where you decide to cheese the same guy on the same map in the same way again is classic
>help fjant prepare for dreamhack
>plan the builds against showtime extensively
>mfw it becomes known as a fjant build
jk i love you harstem

Nothing like a spine rush on a Friday
Only way to start the weekend !
As a protoss , you guys really like to break my spine.
"Relaxing ladder" I wish that was a thing.
what a last game against zombie. Fjant and Catz would be proud. Also, the overlord bait was amazing in the ravager rush
33:20 that's because the Captain is also the GGiest man alive.

2:14 relaxing ladder 😂🤣😂 good one
These videos help me answer questions I never asked, like "do 5 scvs beat 3 ravagers?"
The answer - a resounding no.
18:06 "This is exactly how I wanted it. This is how BLIZZARD wanted it--no this is how GOD wanted it..."
Starts the game with a spine rush and then 15 min later asks “why does he have so many batteries here”?

Awesome. Loved the video. You gg'd like a boss, unlike those who lack decorum. We can only control our own house, so don't worry about it, mate.

I came here for the gameplay, but stayed for your wisdom. Kudos mate 😁😁
Start with "I forgot to *****" then "No GG" is always a good start, very Harstem like.

BGMSS idea - beaing grandmasters with mass hydra drops, can dilute with roaches if money is tight.
What about trying to drop spines in the enemy base with an overlord drop? Specifically dropping drones and building them the overlord creep ability
Creep spread overwhelming!

Last game was awesome. Thank you
Harstem: I had to switch the build up. I'm not super comfortable with this. Not comfortable at all.
Me, blinded by his shirt: totally.
Harstem admits Widow Mines are imba 😂😂😂
Waiting for some ultralisk cheese

Hey idk if u did it already but you should proxy depos while playing terran
Relaxing ladder... Only a Pro can say that 😂😂
You're a content MACHINE!
Go, ma man!
Classic imba lurker saving the day
U never uproot all your spines at the same time. Just a thought...
I swear Hackerisnoob was once on an iodis.
This build has an offical name and it's called "sex panther"
loved the hawaien style😅

5 people got cheesed
Last game was a banger.
Not sure if HackErIsNoob is even aware how important the gg is to the professional players.
why

The whole gg thing is just super overrated.
When were the gg stats last reviewed? I think I might have missed it
the goal is every hundred to that number
in Soviet Russia, spines micro you!
MOAR CONTENT!
last game well played
"The ONE TRUE Spine rush does NOT LOSE". .. proceeds to lose??
By the cojones?? 😂😂😂😂
HOW MANY TIMES ARE YOU REBORROWING ALL OF THEM AT ONCE AND LOSING THEM JESUS BRO

Moar creep tumors
does his cheese ever work ? so sad to watch... 😔
you can move 1 spine at a time, you keep disarming 60+% of your offence at one time constantly when opponents army is right there, it's triggering :(.
you play like a trauma victim
wait so is it | protoss > zerg > terran > protoss?
