    This made me think about when I brewed beer for many years. A commonly used product in the brewing world was Star San. It's a foaming no rinse sanitizer. Different from canning where the heat is at the end of the process, with beer brewing after the sweet wort boil everything the wort touches has to be sanitized (best as possible) for the fermentation and then the bottling process.

      @@NewfoundBrewing yes! I got really into growing my own mushrooms a couple years ago and you learn to respect microbiology verrry quickly with that hobby haha - similar to beer brewing where you have to start as clean as possible

    Hello from New Zealand! I usually just put my jars under a hot tap, soak, swish, and rinse.
