Thank you for helping raise awareness among young Koreans about the Philippines 🇵🇭 From the interviews, I get the impression that young Koreans feel secure and confident to spend their entire life in Korea without any connection to the Philippines 🇵🇭 It’s a stark contrast here in the Philippines among young Filipinos where many look at South Korea 🇰🇷 as one country to go to in order to improve economically their life and family. Sylvia, thank you for doing this! 🙏🏼
Sylvia Kim is so sweet featuring our country Philippines is really an effort on your Part. That's why we Love South Koreans because of your appreciation and promoting our country by doing your TH-cam vlogs. "Kamsahamnida" Take care always!
Sylviaaa I hope you “tagay” well here 😂 but not “hanggang mamatay” 😂 We are excited for you to come here although the weather is kinda humid, but I hope you see the country that you have come to love and embrace soon ♥️
If u go to Baguio & Tagaytay, Sagada, Benguet, it's not too hot specially during December to February but during summer it's not hot as in Manila or the places near the beaches. It's summer now so it's super hot but u have to go to the beaches and yeah Tagaytay and Baguio to cool off.
@Kambing101 I prefer Puerto Galera than Boracay, I've been to both, and also I enjoyed Pagudpud better than Boracay plus Vigan and the view while travelling via land to Ilocos is incredible....Boracay is the most famous, but I dunno maybe now it's better after it was cleaned up but too commercialized for me. We also have nice white beaches in Batangas too.
I was so proud to you ate sylvia for making this content!!!!!🫰🏻 I’m hoping you keep doing this coz like what you said you must raise awareness to korean people to love philippines more!!! ❤️🔥
Congrats #sylvia for promoting my country.. I hope to get to korea too because im very interested to have an experience with the culture, food and whats more to offer..

I commend you for your effort Sylvia because majority of the Koreans treat Filipinos there so differently.. it's high time they learn that Philippines has been a great help in your history once upon a time..plus we've embraced k-pop, k-drama.Thank you Sylvia! Hopefully Koreans in general wont be discrimating anymore
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 This content is really good! The Philippines is a melting pot of various cultures and is very adaptable. In my observation, the Philippines is more inclusive rather than exclusive compared to Korea, yet the two cultures can still learn a lot from each other. Your efforts as a global citizen helps bridge the gap between the two seemingly different cultures. As people get to dive deeper, one would find that there are many similarities which can possibly expedite a warmer relationship between the two cultures. Thank you for doing this series. I know this topic has been covered by other TH-camrs but not in a “street interview” format, I think, but, since your topic is about the Filipino culture and the Fil-Kor relationship, maybe an older demographic would know, but, how many younger Koreans know about the Philippines’ part in the battle of Yultong? By the way, I like the way you changed up your hairdo. Happy to hear you would soon be visiting the Philippines!!!
That's why i love watching your vlog.. also moy and jessica because your promoting my country especially awareness about Philippines. Hope to see ya soon in the Philippines.
I hope you can notice this comment 💌 *for someone like you who haven't been to our dearest sunny Philippines but talks and share awareness to other South Koreans about PH, you're a gem! *you're laugh is so contagious it got me smiling *and to the girl on your interview who said the nicest things, you're mindset is like Kim Namjoon of BTS; so rare so comforting THE PHILIPPINES WILL BE WAITING FOR YOUR VISIT, SYLVIA! MABUHAY KA! ✨
So, without any googling, things that comes to my mind about Philippines... Duterte, Manila, Islands, Crime unfortunately but heard it got better, 산다라박, Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos, Adobo... I think that's about it.
You can grow it intentionally, on the other hand I think it's unnecessary for everyone to be like socially confident and approaching like me😊 everyone is charming in their own ways!!!
And there is a Korean Town here in Pampanga and its called “Friendship”. Its crazyyy because when you go there its like you went to Itaewon, something like that. Everything is korean, there are k-restaurants jjimjilbang, noreabang and lots of korean-inspired cafes. They are all owned by koreans, its literally ktown.
This is good.. in a show Hello Counselor, a few Filipinos were guests and some of them especially the kids experienced bullying because of multi racial or color of the skin issue which 7:56 lady mentioned. I hope as you promote the Philippines in a positive way like you do now, I hope more people will be accepting and respect the Filipinos.
The number of Filipinos who have chosen to live in South Korea seems to have gradually declined over the years perhaps why young Koreans are not as connected to the Philippines. Vice versa, the number of Koreans choosing to live in the Philippines have increased dramatically over the years and I don't think it is slowing down soon. Philippines as a country I think is more aware of South Korea as a country than South Koreans knowing much about the Philippines.
I hope that you can visit PH as soon as possible especially this Summer! Thank you for promoting our culture, Sylvia!

I’m not Filipino or Korean but as a fellow E Asian and SE Asian I love videos like this. I love seeing our people celebrating one another. Although we might have different ethnicities we are from the same race and share similar cultures and should celebrate one another.

Love the random interview to get the thoughts of people, promoting the Phillipines and spreading awareness to the young Koreans, It breaks any gap or barrier between two nations if we knew the positive sides of it, whether its the people or the culture or its history, and that is something that we all grateful for, to be able to know something in a positive way, Sylvia ,many thanks for that interview and I hope you will be able to travel one day and see the country in a more depth and great perspective, The Filipinos love you too as much as they love Kpop and Dramas! Well done!Keep it up!
Ate SYLVIA KIM once said that she would spread opm in korea and now she's promoting/spreading filipino culture not only to koreans but all over the world. . Wow! .you are very cool, brave, wonderful and beautiful. Thanks for this amazing content and always promoting the Philippines.🥺

Thank you Sylvia! The attention you've brought to the Philippines is really appreciated. It made me think of other countries consuming Filipino content as well and how, like you, maybe we could herald a bridge of culture to them as well.
Well done, Ate Sylvia! I wish this summer you can visit the Philippines which is now experiencing less Covid-19 infections and implementing less restrictions. That would mean, more time and freedom to be one with nature and our culture. Have fun!

Hi Sylvia! I'm Korean-Filipino in California and I loved your first interview episode!
You've been very entertaining from the beginning, yes.. I watched all your vlogs even when the very first time you have gotten around Filipino (the Korean Filipino drama😝😢), to now.. a new Sylvia.
Thank you for being open minded about everything.💕

I just saw this comment and this means a lot to me!! Thanks love❤️🔥🥹
@@SylviaKim Never too late coming from you 😀
The young lady in black shirt comments very sensible and honest… thanks for your interest of our culture and we Filipinos embrace and respect other cultures… salamat po and mabuhay… greetings from London❤️
Thank you for helping raise awareness among young Koreans about the Philippines 🇵🇭
From the interviews, I get the impression that young Koreans feel secure and confident to spend their entire life in Korea without any connection to the Philippines 🇵🇭
It’s a stark contrast here in the Philippines among young Filipinos where many look at South Korea 🇰🇷 as one country to go to in order to improve economically their life and family.
Sylviaaa I hope you “tagay” well here 😂 but not “hanggang mamatay” 😂
We are excited for you to come here although the weather is kinda humid, but I hope you see the country that you have come to love and embrace soon ♥️
Or "tagay tagay" as the guy in the video said😂👍👍
@@SylviaKim haha saktong tagay only para fresh pa din 😂
@@SylviaKim susuka lang huwag kang susuko 😂
I can't help But keep smiling watching the entire video Clip
you guys doing great,
you are all welcome in Phils.
Love from Phils.
Thank you, ate Sylvia for promoting our country and to give Korean People awareness about our culture here in the Philippines. 😊❤
Thank you sylvia for promoting our country philippines and always welcome here see you soon
Wow! Nice interview ate Sylvia. 🇵🇭🇰🇷.
We love you so much.. 😘
inuuto lang kayo ng mga koreano🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
More power Sylvia. From learning tagalog, doing tagalog cover songs and now interview
Thank you for appreciating Philippines!
That "tagay tagay" reminds me of the iconic line of ate Sylvia's TAGAY HANGGANG MAMATAY" LOL😂
HAHAHAHA!
MARAMING SALAMAT (Thank you)! You're embracing our culture, as we FILIPINOS embracing Koreans too!
GOD BLESS💖
I was so proud to you ate sylvia for making this content!!!!!🫰🏻 I’m hoping you keep doing this coz like what you said you must raise awareness to korean people to love philippines more!!! ❤️🔥
Congrats #sylvia for promoting my country..
I hope to get to korea too because im very interested to have an experience with the culture, food and whats more to offer..
Good job ate Sylvia. They gotta feel awkward at first but all gone after you started being casual and with that cute laugh of yours 🤣. Trivia games about the PH would be nice aswell so they could learn some stuff.
I'm a Filipino English teacher and my students are all Korean. I stumbled upon this video of yours and I subscribed instantly. Thank you for this! love it

Thank you for this Sylvia. You make us all filipinos happy! We cant wait to see you enjoying here in the philippines!
The moment i saw this video, it just caught my heart and I can’t help but subscribe and hit that like button😂 i’m starting to love your kindness towards the Philippines ate sylvia! ♥️♥️ Filipinos love you ate😗♥️♥️
Ya, Ate Sylvia, you're giving me that Asian boss vibes/type of interview, huh!😄💗 You're getting better and better each day!💯💯🎉🎉
Very nice & wonderful heart warming answer of the beautiful lady about our Philippines...we also love korea and their k dramas....like jumong etc
I hope you can notice this comment 💌
*for someone like you who haven't been to our dearest sunny Philippines but talks and share awareness to other South Koreans about PH, you're a gem!
*you're laugh is so contagious it got me smiling
*and to the girl on your interview who said the nicest things, you're mindset is like Kim Namjoon of BTS; so rare so comforting
THE PHILIPPINES WILL BE WAITING FOR YOUR VISIT, SYLVIA! MABUHAY KA! ✨
awww very heart warming gesture from you Sylvia! Thank you for being kind and loving the country. Take care always!
So, without any googling, things that comes to my mind about Philippines... Duterte, Manila, Islands, Crime unfortunately but heard it got better, 산다라박, Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos, Adobo... I think that's about it.
Thank you so much Sylvia 🥰🫶🏻 appreciating everything you’ve done for the Philippines
I hope I can have a social confidence like Sylvia 😭✊ I cant even go to the counter to say my order to any fast food shain 😥
i hope you get better confidence
I don't go to any fast food chain to avoid interaction and of course, people hahaha
You can grow it intentionally, on the other hand I think it's unnecessary for everyone to be like socially confident and approaching like me😊 everyone is charming in their own ways!!!
OhMyGhad Ate Sylvia Hiii 😍
But it's true tho I'm shy 🥺 and it's Bad especially when you want to go Indipendent... 😭✊
You may have social anxiety. I had it too. Mine was the worst ever but now I have finally gained a bit of confidence.
Thank you for embracing the Philippines, its people and culture…. Hope you get to visit our country and reunite with moy and jessica….
Oh my Gosh, Ate Sylvia is going to visit Philippines
I also like Sylvia's way of interview, she looks friendly and her laugh though😅
This is good.. in a show Hello Counselor, a few Filipinos were guests and some of them especially the kids experienced bullying because of multi racial or color of the skin issue which 7:56 lady mentioned. I hope as you promote the Philippines in a positive way like you do now, I hope more people will be accepting and respect the Filipinos.
Thank you miss sylvia for encouraging your fellow koreans how beautiful philippines are.
