The berrics games were fun to watch but the most recent events had a lot of boring matches. I get that it slowly became more and more competitive and people started to figure out how to play it better and all, but to see all the variations of every trick in all stances every time before getting to anything a little bit more spicy is kinda ridicolous. The beauty of a game of skate is getting something weird out, not this boring consistency, which, again, makes sense and complete respect for these skaters that are amazing, but it's not really what makes this sport cool. I've always seen these games as more fun than serious, i honestly don't believe a game of flat ground is solid enough to have a high level of competitiveness, and also I don't believe consistency through all possible variations of tricks is what makes the game cool to watch. To make flatground a truly competitive game I believe some big changes would have to be made so to make it more fair while keeping it interesting to watch. The whole thing with Andy and others skaters like Johnny Giger exemplifies that very well, these people have the fire power to nuke anyone, but they also don't practice a lot of the more traditional stuff, should they get penalized for that? I belive not, but also if it happens that they get to start first, it is fair they can't give the opponent a chance? Also not. The classic game of skate is inhrently a fun game, not a competitive one, and to make it so could very easily ruin the experience of watching it. Also, why whole types of tricks are not included? How is that fair? I get why they are not, but still, it's a limitation imposed on it that just makes it less interesting while trying to make it less random, but i don't think that's the way to go. Overall a skate game is a whole vibe, to make it serious is to ruin the vibe, and to finish off, to the normal dude that skates for fun, every switch variation that you learn after having learned it normal is some weird bullshit freestyle stuff you're not learning, diverse tricks > variations, but that's just my way of seeing skateboarding
I have no issue with someone liking or not liking someone else. The thing that bothers me is people complaining AA wears a helmet. My sons best friend died at 16 skating. He was just standing on his board, not rolling and he slipped hit the back of his head, was in a coma for 5 days then died. If he was wearing a helmet he would be 26 now. Don't make fun of people for safety. Skating is supposed to be about individuality and freedom but the gatekeepers cant handle it when someone is different.
Stuff like this is exactly why I hate it when people bring up the helmets as something too uncool for 'real skateboarders'. That shit is so stupid and ignorant. And yes, I do think it is a problem when someone doesn't like a skater. I mean, why not just ignore said skater and move on to someone people do like? The obsession of some people with Andy and his helmet is so insane to me. Same goes for his freestyle tricks. If you don't like it, don't watch it. It's not that hard. And some people also don't like the late flip variation mastery by someone like Jamie Griffin. Big deal.
@halfpipefreak i hope you dont lose someone you love cause of not wearing a "gayass" helmet. I would rather be a macho homophobe than a corpse too. YOU are the problem, bud, but your probably 17 and know all the answers.
@@Oksa_L "I wouldnt let some gay ass helmet hold me from behind while i was doing the dishes and just make me feel safe. I would NEVER let a gay ass helmet do that. Take me in it's strong Vert arms, and just BE? Hell no brother, im not some gay ass who likes gay asses. Not me. Definitely not @halfpipefreak. As i said before, i would never let a gay ass helmet hear about my day to day and just hear me ya know? Gay ass helmets."
I certainly don't believe that he was being disrespectful with his attitude. He knew that he was fucked with those tricks and he just made the best out of this situation rather than being a crybaby.
Saw this comment. Realized Zach Doelling watches Dumb Data. Wait... Went back to watch Dumb's video on how to beat Jamie. Went back to watch Zach and Jamie's match. Holy shit, the shuvit onslaught makes more sense now. Scissors on first throw was a good strategy. Should have thrown paper on second toss. Defended ridiculous double flipping bullshit. I think someone actually took Dumb Data's advice, for the most part.
Exactly I think he just wasn’t on his A game at that match. You can’t just do tricks 1st T sometimes. He’s not really a nollie heel or switch heel guy. He focuses on more obscure tricks. Nick did tricks he usually does. I don’t think much strategy other than he knows Andy isn’t super good at switch heel moves. Maybe Andy isn’t the right fit for BATB overall. No hate just sayin he’s not a robot guy who learns all the basics and does them 1st T. He’s got his bag he feels comfortable with and that’s all that matters he doesn’t force himself to do tricks that aren’t natural. And with his bigger board def not a double flip guy and that’s a big part of winning batb.
The day I let percentages of trick difficulty in a game of skate at the Berrics determine whether or not I like a skater is the day I paint the wall with my brains.
I don't understand at what point people ever decided BATB was a dead serious competition. Not a single thing about the way it is run, promoted or competed ever says anything more than 'this is a fun competition to bring all kinds of skaters together". This channel is fun, but certainly a classic case of reading way to much into it 😆
I agree with the first comment but not yours, dumb data is pretty funny as well as intriguing with his statistics. You shouldn't tell him what to do, he's got a successful channel and you?
Was waiting for you to make a good point. Never happened. Imo Andy is dope, Jamie is dope… all these guys are dope. Andy clearly doesn’t spend all of his time practicing flat ground flip tricks, and is more well rounded of a skater than almost anyone.
That's no damn excuse. Rodney Mullen was a flat ground wizard and look at the caliber of flat ground tricks he learned from ALL STANCES. Even at 27 he was well rounded already.
You dont have to LOVE him to also love skating. You're weird and need to understand people can have completely different views than you for a variety of reasons
Im pretty damn sure Andy let Nick win. Why ? Andy is pro, has a ton of sponsors, and is well known in the skateboarding community and beyond.. Nick advancing in BATB can help Nick get the sponsorships he deserves with the exposure... Andy seems like the kind of guy that would do that solid for a fellow human..
@@SUB0SCORION definitely not "copium" I use the real shit .. playing, but nah man, that's not Andy's regular skating. We all know he can skate nollie and switch. Seen it a million times. It's almost too blatant to ignore.
@@CarsCatAliens take your nose out of his butt. Andy legit lost and he knew he was from the beginning. Thinking he let Nick win is ridiculous. He’s kind of a pompous dude.
Chiming in because I was at the Berrics during the match between Nick and Andy. What is not apparent from the editing of the match is that 1) Nick and Andy had a lot of mutual respect for each other and genuinely enjoyed each others company. 2) Andy was truly trying his hardest and was not fooling around or throwing the match. 3) The crowd was cheering out of an overwhelming desire to see Andy perform beautifully, but he wasn't skating well. At least that's what I experienced 🙏🏽
I've known Andy for 11 years and we have competed many times at the World Round Up. Sometimes us freestylers gather to play "Freestyle" skate.... and the funny thing is.... whoever goes first usually wins. And that's what happens in Berric rules. Whenever I play skate with the locals, we just play Berric rules because they usually hate my freestyle. Haha and I usually get trashed by any nollie flip tricks and any switch flip tricks. It's fun though. If anyone can help me learn to NOT make a nollie heels hit my nuts, please tell me the secret.
4:38 would you have preferred Andy slam his board and yell like a frustrated child when he loses? I really dont understand this "criticism", like how dare he have a good time at a competition and not be upset at losing! You can tell Dumb Data's one of those gatekeeping assholes whos jealous of another skaters skillset when he calls old school tricks bullshit at 6:08
Anyone who implies wearing a helmet is idiotic is a kook and im not even a huge AA fan, tho i can respect his skill and originality...and shame on him for being a good sport and not acting like a 10 year old when he lost
The fact is a large portion of the skating community has been overtaken by jocks and jockish attitude. Andy is incredibly good and refuses to be a jock, and that is unacceptable, apparently.
and if he didn't have money n fame she would never talk to him. I can assure you she comes home at 3am and goes straight to the shower after cheating on him. look at how she dressed, she's a THOT to the core😅
Why are we hyper analyzing someone's reaction to losing a game of skate? You want him to be acting distraught? That's not in his nature bro he's obviously not that type of person. Perfectly natural reaction for someone like him especially him being out of his comfort zone in this contest and knowing full well that him getting skunked like that was practically inevitable....
Honestly, the first time I saw Andy skate was 3 years ago in a Dale Decker video. I saw him in his helmet, tie dye tee and cargo shorts and thought to myself ‘who the hell is this kook?’. After seeing him pop up in more videos I stopped caring about his look as his skateboarding spoke for itself. He is a king! The fact he can skate every facet of skateboarding and do it well. Granted, if you learn all those other aspects of skating you’re bound to miss out on a few along the way. The way he acted in this Berrics game was odd, but perhaps that was just a coping mechanism to deflect shame by laughing it off from missing standard tricks in front of all his friends. Hell, if I was a pro and all my friends saw me get annihilated I would feel a bit like an imposter in that moment. He is kooky in a good way, diving deep into trick and equipment mechanics and finding out solutions to problems while leading a a hippy-ish skate life style. Andy Anderson is the Kooky King skateboarding needs.
I thought the same way about the berrics. It's also another reason why Holt is so good, is he definitely did his research and knew his weak spot. Andy probably recognized that, and just let whatever compete tive spirit go since he knew he'd lose, and acted accordingly
There is nothing wrong with wanting to "protect your brain". Andy is awesome for being a good role model for beginning and younger skaters by wearing a helmet. We could use more role models like this because wearing safety equipment is nothing other than smart. I think it is pretty low to support a no safety equipment attitude, or to belittle wearing a helmet or any other safety equipment. Next, it is hard not to get the idea someone sullied your golden cow here. If Andy being flippant ruins the seriousness of the event for you, you might want to take a step back and reevaluate. As a matter of fact, maybe it is good he took that attitude. Sounds like it hit the mark.
I once read a quote that said something along the lines of “your fear of not looking cool is keeping you from happiness”. Once I applied this to my skateboarding and surfing, it tripled in fun. It made me feel like a kid again. I gave up on what I thought was “cool” and stopped trying to impress other people and just did whatever I wanted. Andy is a king, and he is living life to his absolute fullest, and letting his heart drive him.
Correction: Jamie WILL have 11 wins IF he goes undefeated this season, he’s only at 8 wins after Zach. PJ still the consecutive wins leader at 10. My bad.
I'm rooting for Luan to defeat him, last season was wacky and I lost the interest half way through it, almost like everything that happened last season was non canonical.
Andy embodies what skating is which is to just have fun and do whatever the hell you want and not giving a fk about what others think. BATB is such a joke especially when money is thrown at them to turn a game of skate into some "serious" competition.
I love watching Andy skate because I never know what he's going to do. While other skaters usually gotta skate something crazy to be interesting, I could watch Andy hit a curb all day. And though it's impressive that other skaters can pull off surgically precise nollie tricks, there's a billion videos of those around. Plus I like that he's wearing a helmet.
Here, I fixed your video title dude: "Using Andy Anderson's popularity and the weird beef some people seem to have with him to actually just air my own beef that I have with BATB"
because they know if they say what they really think of him, half the community will turn on you😅 he's a hero for kids who been picked on their whole life and his girl is with him cuz of his money. show me pics of every girl he's ever been with and I'll rest my case.
You are making it sound like Andy's "old school BS" is somehow less worthy, legitimate or respectable than nollie or switch heels. You even went as far as to call him a snake. Each competitor is going to go as hard as they can with the skills that they have and those skills are rooted in the way they like to skate in their personal time. So ofc Andy is going to do Andy style tricks in a contest, because that is what he is good at. As for his particular emotional reaction to getting destroyed, what exactly do you want him to do, sit quiet and weep?
Andy was the only reason i was even watching this year.. shit gets old watching the same people play the same game with the same tricks 100's of times over.
This is my first view on this channel, and I absolutely love it. This is *strong* use of data, and not only that - my man is absolutely blazing the trail here in terms of bringing the world of sports stats into the wide world of skateboarding. I love it!!!!!
What starts out as a balanced piece turns into a character attack on Andy and then completely switches focus and kisses up to Jamie Griffin. Poor show.
he was spot on about every negative thing he said about Andy. That's why ur now sending personal insults at DD cuz you have no rebuttal to the points he made. he's a hero for kids who have been picked on their whole lives. he can't even do basics but he's over hyped has his own deck shape own Bones wheels and etnies shoes? the dudes a lame, he's over rated as shit and doesn't deserve to even be at BATB. For me Andy is a representation of skateboarding history and a breath of fresh air. Batb it's obviously not his place but it's very sad when someone who embodies a different way of doing tricks it's called a kook. Like if in society you preferred npc people in corporate or whatever kind of jobs instead of others who enjoy life their way.
strawman. no one calls him a kook because of his love for the sport. they call him a kook because of the way he markets himself and his hardware. and his great helm
Andy Anderson forces you to understand that skateboarding isn’t about “being the best in the world”… it’s about being yourself and having fun… and it’s fun to be good.
Basing your opinion on Andy Anderson on his performance in a BATB game, would be like basing your opinion on Andrew Reynolds if he entered a vert contest. BATB isn't a place for Andy to shine. I like they invited him, but he's not a standard flatgound skater. Just look at what he's actually good at. Weird take on this one.
I think overall berrics already have a good balance between serious and goofy stuff and although I dont like andy style at all, having him on the competition once is very welcome. I think the BATB 12 tried to show this but kinda failed due to lots of different factors, this being how good can some of these internet skaters perform against real pros? the answer is they can skunk and get skunked because skateboarding is diverse and beautiful that said, I think spencer barton should had been reinvited for this year and I dont mind if it was in andy’s place
Andy is good, but he is also super corny and probably on the spectrum of autism. If you hate him, chill, you are taking it too serious, he is just a kid that is enjoying the life he built for himself. If you love him, chill, enjoy what you enjoy but he is doing well with his niche but he can't land a switch heel on flat, he can't land a nollie on flat, take it easy on crowning him.
for sure on the spectrum. he's a hero for kids who have been picked on their whole lives. he can't even do basics but he's over hyped has his own deck shape own Bones wheels and etnies shoes? the dudes a lame, he's over rated as shit and doesn't deserve to even be at BATB. the hate surrounding andy online is its own beast and a larger issue we cant solve by thinking its just skaters being diverse in opinion. a lot of the hate goes over the line in a self harm kinda way
he has haters not necessarily because of he himself, but because he has a ton of low IQ/non skater fans. I've seen this phenomena in other sports. When someone gains a ton of fans that imprint on a them as a role model, despite their obvious (to knowledgeable people) shortcomings that person tends to get hate
maybe it was a harsh way of putting it, but it's not untrue. a beginner is basically a non skater in the sense that they can't really judge how good another skater is. Also, andy is incredible, but he is simply not the skate god that most of his fans seems to think he is. Half of his fans thought he was going to show up to BATB and win for example. @@offtheline-x8w
The hate isnt a big deal, because andyisnot just a skater, bit also somewhat of a youtuber the hate is absolutely understandable and imprtant and healthy
when hes shilling "a new skate wheel technology that no other company has ever made" even though that wheel tech has been made by skate companies before for decades, well he might be a kook. dont get emotional, its not cool to mislead people like he is doing.

@@vagueaudiotelevision7951better yet u shut tf up. your homie just got destroyed in a competition he should’ve never been a part of in the first place. If Andy won another round with those goofy, loophole tricks we’d be hearing “No Andy Anderson f*ckery” in the rules of BATB14. Winning battles doesn’t mean much if you’re only winning them cuz you’re doing tricks that 95% of skaters consider too lame & pointless to bother learning
There was no real summary of this video, in fact it seemed to have forgotten what the title was and just focused on batb itself... poor focus skills. P.s. I know hes got switch and nollie stuff... nollie pressures seem to be a go to for him at times. Something tells me he just isn't invested mentally in competition anyways friendly or otherwise anymore
Andy just isn't a cookie cutter 'Berrics' skater. Simple. He was invited by the powers that be to generate clicks. He was always gonna stir things up no matter the outcomes. For the record I love Andy's skating, and his awkward, child-like personality is part of what makes his approach magical. There's not enough originality and style in how modern skating is presented, but the Berrics is not set up to be the place to do it. It's all about the clicks. It's all about branding. It's a business. It always has been from the very first sponsorship way back when. BATB is not what it started out to be and they need to refine and define the comp imo. Or... anything goes and expect people like Giger and Andy to come out swinging and skunk everybody with weird stuff. I'd be happy with either tbh, but lets see some consistency with it.
Except giger is t a consistent skater. He does weird shit but if you watch his videos you know it takes him hundreds if not a thousand times to land one trick. You put a compilation for giger up, it looks legit. But ask him to skate in front of people in a tourney and he folds.
@@hofx666 His videos are a massive insult to the skateboarding community in my opinion, and I realize that is a strong opinion, but I also wouldn't say this about ANYONE aside from Jonny Giger(ok and probably Braille too but everyone knows they are clowns). My reasoning is for his "Tricks of Rodney Mullen" and "Tricks of Chris Haslam" type of videos. He is literally ripping off these guys namesakes in the names of personal profits, all while milking a single trick fill up over a 20 min video that is essentially a "Dear Diary Vlog". Go make your own name, stop ripping other peoples past accomplishments for click-bait likes and views. I find it to be a disgusting tactic personally. Just goes down to the local skate park, tries a trick that someone else popularized 30 or 40 years ago and films 1 decent make of it. Feels like he cares a lot more about money and convenience than skateboarding. All these real pro skaters move around the world, travel all over the place going to historic spots and beating themselves up to release a 3-8 min video part. While Jonny films a 25 min primo slide at a skate park.....look at how much dedication the real pros like JhanCarlos Gonzalez put in to make it big.
Andy's one of the best all around skateboarders of all time. A street, park, and freestyle beast. Yeah he can't do all the flip tricks but he has hundreds of tricks most people can't do. Also, Your reading way too much into his attitude during the match. He knew he was gonna lose so he had fun to hide his embrassment, we've all done it.
He definitely can't do "hundreds of tricks most can't do" come on man, just tell us you love the guy and admire him. If that is the case, why did you "know he was going to lose?" Guys like Haslam or Cole or Mike Mo could have easily done a majority of the things that Andy does, they just choose not to. There's an old clip of Cole casually screwing around at an indoor park and doing a 720 triple flip. But why is he going to perfect a trick like that? No one is ever going to think that looks cool down a staircase or on any street spot in a full length video. I thought it was just mainstream team sports that had idiots overreacting to hot takes all day long, not skateboarding. Not everyone is the best of all time at everything, yeesh. I could name without exaggeration, probably multiple hundreds of skaters more talented off the top of my head.
That's why skateboarding is like boxing. Styles make fights and not one style can beat the rest. BATB is more goofy than a grown man wearing a skate helmet. To call the guy a kook makes you in fact a kook. I mean, Mullen had to wear full protective gear in order to even be allowed to skate and he is beloved by all. In the early 90s SKATE was a game we played to try and improve on tricks you generally wouldn't do or never had tried. Like a chess/checkers hybrid.
What it boils down to is that you are measuring Andy on the basis of a more 'conventional' skater. In reality Andy is rather clear and coherent that this is not his objective with skating. He is not looking to emulate others but rather create his own path. I find the stastical approach you have to BATB very interesting, but to paint every skater with having the same competitive mentality is ignoring such an integral part of skating (that being individuality and having fun). Yes this can be considered a competitive sport but you cannot treat BATB like its the superbowl or some other highly commercialised sport. I understand the data and statistics are black and white but that does not apply to each skaters philosphy and their approach.
i used to like andy A LOT (got a heron complete and everything) but yea his level of disrespect in batb has me really questioning why he would even agree to be there. it honestly seemed like 1 of 2 things happened, either he got his brain sucked out through hid dick 15 min before the contest.. or he just threw the game. i guess im ambivalent about him at this point, the improvised nature of his skating has lost its novelty and hes proven repeatedly hes not built for competition.
Just looks like he tossed the game and disrespected it because he broke rules the first round and was called out. Yes skating has rules when you play a game of SKATE. It's not a skate part in a video.
Skateboarding "core" will always and has always been a bunch of jocks even if they don't want to admit it. Most will say they like skateboarding because of the individuality of it and the anti-team aspect, but skate teams and brands ave always been a bunch of cliques, not a bad thing as each brand always has a unique identity. Forever anyone outside the norm or someone doing tricks or in a way that aren't "in" at the moment is going to get vibed heckled like Caroll and Girl skate team did to Tom Penny, despite his effortless ability and style. The guys on the nine club especially Justin Eldridrige were all watching early clips of Andy and were all just vibing him on his helmet barely talking about his skating. Only after his appearance on the show they warmed up to him and recognized his ability.
I doubt he was trying to be condescending towards the berrics by celebrating his loss but the guy is still fucking weird imo. Lost respect for him after his online match against Geiger during lockdown
DD not understanding Andy's cheering for loss is proof he never went to a summer camp with weirdly overly postive counselors. Those were "let's all get ready for free-swim" moves if I've ever seen them.
The guy has no interest in winning contests and if you haven't understood that yet, you haven't been paying attention. Have you seen his performance at the Olympics? The guy is there to live HIS life, not yours. Whether you like it or not, he's living his best life and you're obviously not haha "Skating is not a sport, it's a lifestyle"... and then you get pissed at people not caring about winning more than they care about enjoying themselves skating around friends. People acting as if being a sore loser and slamming your deck on the ground after losing a round is better than understanding that bad days just happen and moving on. Whiners will whine I guess

The sheer amount of time we spend with Andy takes away from the romantic view we've had of skaters of the past, but he undoubtedly is the skater that's shaping and inspiring the sport most.
Im not over fond of Andy style in traditional skateboarding setting but he is doing his own this like doing Natas spin on a red fire hydrent it look awesome and he a master of 50=59 hug rails. I think it important to have people like Andy in skateboarding as it allows skateboarding to grow and get more people stoked on skateboarding as it for everyone.
Definitely kook.. How can you he be so uninterested while skating BATB? It's disrespectful to your opponent, (his own) fans hoping to see some spectacular tricks and the competition itself. When they ask you if you want to enter BATB.. and you know you don't care about the event.. you can also just say 'no thanks' and go do something else.. and they give your spot to another skater that is stoked to skate in the event. Instead of bringing your helmet to a flatground competition and skating like loser. Kook or C*nt would a better title
It was obviously not disrespectful to hype the crowd. Not being a sore loser is important in skate, or did you want him to sulk? "Cancle flips and old school bullshit" so tricks within the rules yeah... Also it'd be nice to see Jamie pop tricks like Zach, he evidently can, just didn't. In my view, a 2 an 1/2'' high flip is a different trick to a flip 2cm off the floor... should've been told to re-do tricks with near zero pop... 😅
Just so you know that someone noticed. This was well executed; "The classy, Celtic kickflipper is calmly capturing critically competetive clips aCross the pond."
Woww, the hate is real is this one 😂 “his old school bullshit” damn man, who hurt you as a child, to each their own lol if it’s legal, it’s legal, it’s not bullshit. Cmon now, stop hating on one of the most original skaters around
I think Andy getting goofy when he lost was an attempt at emotional management. It was his way to prevent himself getting angry or caught up in the mental death spiral. I get like that sometimes. You try to find the balance where the failure doesn’t impact you enough to negatively impact the next try, but you don’t want to over do it where it pulls you out of the zone. The intensity of how goody he was for losing was relative to the negative emotions he was trying to regulate
The berrics games were fun to watch but the most recent events had a lot of boring matches. I get that it slowly became more and more competitive and people started to figure out how to play it better and all, but to see all the variations of every trick in all stances every time before getting to anything a little bit more spicy is kinda ridicolous.
Big deal.
Skateboarding is about danger and facing it without a gay ass helmet. Vert skating is a different story.
@halfpipefreak i hope you dont lose someone you love cause of not wearing a "gayass" helmet. I would rather be a macho homophobe than a corpse too. YOU are the problem, bud, but your probably 17 and know all the answers.

Agreed

Andy's appeal is simple, people respond to passion. Say what you like about him, but he lives, breathes and shits skateboarding

I've known Andy for 11 years and we have competed many times at the World Round Up. If you remove people doing pressure flips off curbs and freestyle on rails... all the top skaters wear helmets.
He seems humble, and you seem sour. Andy is doing and focusing on new things, so it is on par that he is not consistent on tricks that are the norm.
The fact is a large portion of the skating community has been overtaken by jocks and jockish attitude. Andy is incredibly good and refuses to be a jock, and that is unacceptable, apparently.
His chick is hot

Yeah, I saw it like a coping mechanism too.
Well, he’s also Autistic. His behavior isn’t that odd.
Andy Anderson is the new Tamer Version of Richie Jackson. Wacky creative tricks, but can do regular stuff as well. Its just Andy has a helmet lol

When someone gains a ton of fans that imprint on a them as a role model, despite their obvious (to knowledgeable people) shortcomings that person tends to get hate

His awkward child like personality is cause he's definitely on the spectrum...

Guys like Haslam or Cole or Mike Mo could have easily done a majority of the things that Andy does, they just choose not to.

You didnt include the thumbnail of this video when talking about youtubers using andy for clicks 😂
Andy has my respect. Very simple.
If Andy Anderson skating style was the first thing I saw I would hate skating and vow to fight them on sight.
I Love Andy's Unique Style
The Kid embodies what skateboarding really is... Playing on a kids toy. A total individual in a sea of skater clones.
When has batb ever been serious lmao
I doubt he was trying to be condescending towards the berrics by celebrating his loss but the guy is still fucking weird imo. Lost respect for him after his online match against Geiger during lockdown
Andy is the most creative skateboarder, just like the Braille squad says he is
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
King of the kooks
DD not understanding Andy's cheering for loss is proof he never went to a summer camp with weirdly overly postive counselors. Those were "let's all get ready for free-swim" moves if I've ever seen them.
The guy has no interest in winning contests and if you haven't understood that yet, you haven't been paying attention. Have you seen his performance at the Olympics? The guy is there to live HIS life, not yours. Whether you like it or not, he's living his best life and you're obviously not haha
"Skating is not a sport, it's a lifestyle"... and then you get pissed at people not caring about winning more than they care about enjoying themselves skating around friends. People acting as if being a sore loser and slamming your deck on the ground after losing a round is better than understanding that bad days just happen and moving on. Whiners will whine I guess
Okay Swifty
True, it does kinda sound like you're whining on a soapbox. But whiners will whine 🤷♂️
he's a hero for kids who have been picked on their whole lives.
he can't even do basics but he's over hyped has his own deck shape own Bones wheels and etnies shoes?
the dudes a lame, he's over rated as shit and doesn't deserve to even be at BATB.
The only reason u don't hear all the pros say what they really think of him is cuz of the cancel culture mob.
Different is NOT always better, contrary to what this safe space society says nowadays.
And his girl is only with him for the money. Show me pics of every girl he's had before her. I rest my case.
I guarantee you she cheats on him when he's outta town. look at the way she dressed, she wants all men's eyes on her everywhere she goes. she's a THOT. For sure comes home at 3am and runs n takes a shower immediately 😅
Oh and the fact he wore a helmet at a flat ground competition just proves that the way he dresses is just his "Im different, please love me!" uniform cuz That's how he has to sell himself. to little kids and nerds.
The sheer amount of time we spend with Andy takes away from the romantic view we've had of skaters of the past, but he undoubtedly is the skater that's shaping and inspiring the sport most.
the last two games they've dropped have been some of my favorites because they are way more laidback feeling
I haven’t even watched the video but I already know the answer: KOOOOK
Andy is the goat!
Facts and trues. I mean, he did a Natas spin, that's effing rad!
bro what
Definitely kook..
I have 3 pairs of his shoes
Calling buddy a kook because hes not a carbon clone wannabee? Super cool video bro..
Andy shoulda thrown his game away against Torrey if he was gonna give up as easily as he did
It was obviously not disrespectful to hype the crowd.
This shit’s weird.
Go skate. Andy kills it.
Andy is ultimately a skateboard genius
Well one look at his girlfriend, and i know he is a genius
@@IchDuForeverExploreringI can’t even imagine that dude getting pussy lol
nah
Just so you know that someone noticed. This was well executed;
"The classy, Celtic kickflipper is calmly capturing critically competetive clips aCross the pond."
He is very unique for his generation and he connects a lot of dots in street/freestyle/park skating. And he is a good role model for kids with helmet.
*video talking about andy anderson at batb
*still finds a way to make 3 mins of the video about jamie griffin lmao
Andy is King
Don't think we should over-analyze skateboarding.. . it's not a Football match
The intensity of how goody he was for losing was relative to the negative emotions he was trying to regulate
your whole channel is "too serious" skateboarding and data don't really need to mesh.
