I was just wondering what would be your approach to with an "expert" game of skate were the skill level of each individual is trick so hard that you have to accept at least 2 tries to set a trick?
I think a fair note to point here is that rodney is speaking about when the board spins vertically end to end for an impossible his talking about when they where first invented on the stick freestyle boards of the 80s that are short and stubby compared to today where the boards are much longer so i think the more horizontal gifted hater version for example i think is what its natural evolution is i think the key is the wrap you have to wrap it for it to count otherwise its just a weird hardflip 🤷 i dunno thats my two cents lol
1. Impossibles / 360 shuvs must be replayed if in question & if no replay system is available then the trick is banned before the game begins. There’s the solution. Have homie film on his phone from a second angle if you call impossible it’s really not that hard boys just gotta have the rules in place & understood by all parties beforehand. Technically you can have f’d up rules and if everyone understands them then there still shouldn’t be a problem. It’s the grey area that people try to play in when they know they can’t stand on their own and need an edge to get by that’s the issue. I love skaters but we’re all out here claiming we can do stuff we can’t quite land yet 😅 awesome event tho hands down 10/10 either way brother
I do a lot of impossibles in games of skate and I really resonate with what Jeff said about it at a NOT competitive level.
