What part of "overlanding" are you looking for? Let me know so I can def make sure to check with you during the editing process as you seem to be the expert on how these videos should go.
@@BaptismOverland Dirt/off-road, not you rambling into the camera. Hope that helps. I’ll be waiting for your call, but if you follow the sentiment of ‘less talky, more offy’, you’ll be fine.
@@ryanmalone2681 this is part 2 of a 3 part series of the FAT. A section of lesser trails than the rest. The video literally opens up with us off road and then at camp. Gotta love the critique though fr people who prob can't tell a story to save their lives BUT feel free to post your phone number and we'll get to chatting. No? Thought so. But Merry Christmas!
Awesome video. It was great to see the family all together and having a good time. One of these days I'd like to do that trail. Now, back at home, I hope you all weren't affected much by hurricane IAN, me here in Orlando are getting high gusts, a lot of rain and flooding as of yesterday.
Fortunately for us we were way west about 7 hours away so we were fine. But the rest of us DO live in that area and we have been checking with them a ton. They're fine but we were def worried.
Can you share where this is at - specifically at 25:04 into the video? I get my file on 11/1, and plan on heading to the trail on 11/3, and would really like to see this portion during my two day trip.
Excited for you to get it! This is called the Big Bend and it's right around the armpit of Florida. If you can, just below your comment you'll see a comment from Sunshine State Adventure Co. They created the GPX files. Ask them and they'll tell you exactly where it is on the GPX files.
Awesome editing skills… what drone are you using for the aerial shots? Also wish there was a bigger battery for the zero breeze… not enough runtime imho… i also have a the ecoflow wave and it cools waay better than the zero breeze… not too sure abt reliability though as my compressor failed after having it for only 3 weeks so gotta return it for a replacement… 😢
For drone I use Air2s. And agree on ZB. I'm waiting on their power bank as its supposed to get 14 hours! Sucks about the eco flow. I'm sure they'll get that worked out. It's brand new so there's still some ways they can improve it.
A great deal. We got it down to about 75 in there which, when it's 94 out, is awesome. I have another video called "stay cool while summer camping" where I do a deeper dive
Hahaha no I wish! That RTT is a PIA to get underneath and tighten or loosen the bolts. I said I would never go through that again. Not to mention there are some stuff mounted to it that I would then need to unmount and mount again AND the vinyl wrap on top will then be backwards. Too many variables.
Another epic adventure! Thanks for all you have done to support this project! I can't wait for our next trip!
You did an amazing job documenting this adventure. I’m planning a western leg FAT trip with some friends in October. Any recommendations appreciated
Hurricane Lake campsite in Blackwater! It's the end of the FAT and it's awesome!
Great video..I never knew Florida had an adventure trail..I would love to go one one of your adventures.
Totally worth checking out!
💫💥INCREDIBLE FOOTAGE! RAD SHARE! BRAVO!🖤💣
Overlanding doesn’t start until 18:40. He’s just rambling into the camera until then. Jeesh.

Also there's tons of vids out there where all you see is people going off road and that's it. Would you like some recommendations?
Those water crossings looks awesome. Are they usually salt water? I wanna hit FAT one day but bit concerned about underbody rusting.
Most of the water crossings we've done are fresh water as they're inland but obv you'll want to check the trails closer to the shore.
I just got confirm that there are ZERO salt water crossings on any part of the FAT
Looks fun
I love this series

Are you guys okay though? Any damage?
@@BaptismOverland We are all good here. Lots of rain, wind and flooding. Flodding was the worst of it here. thanks
@@blownbird97 glad you're all ok. Was scary for us at first because models had it going right to our city. We dodged it big time
I may be relocating back home to Florida this year, and if I do, the F.A.T. is high on my list of priorities.
Dope! Hit us up! If you're close enough we will run with you!
@@BaptismOverland For sure! And likewise, if you end up this way (Virginia) I know some great trails in the mountains!
@@DefiantOffroad I'll be up there for Overland Expo east towards the end of the year!
@@BaptismOverland That part of Virginia has a lot of options for places to go play. I'd be glad to show you a few trails.
I believe Anastasia island you can camp in the beach.
I'll look into it!
You can camp on the beach at Huguenot memorial park in Jacksonville FL
Oooh! Will check it out

@@BaptismOverland I was able to find the general area from your video. Its a bit out of area from where my plans are set to be. TY

Check out Cape Lookout in North Carolina
Oh that's been on my bucket list!!
What steps/sliders do you have on your Jeep?
Smittybilt rock sliders
How much does that portable air cool the tent?
A great deal. We got it down to about 75 in there which, when it's 94 out, is awesome. I have another video called "stay cool while summer camping" where I do a deeper dive
Wouldn't it be easier to spin the roof top tent around instead of moving the water port?

Shired island? Camped there last year, twas legit
Yep! I just didn't like the people there this time around lol
