RIP drone. You were a great friend
Yes 😔
Awesome video as always. Can't wait to see the rest of the F. A. T. It's always good to have a great group of friends along for the adventure.
Thank you and we couldn't agree more!
We had a great time, and the camping spots were amazing!
We did have a great time! So glad you all joined us!
Another great video story there on the FAT. Reminds me of my motorcycle trips down there in the early 90's. Didn't think these outdoor areas still existed in that area anymore with all the development lately. Sorry you lost the drone. The drone footage, before you lost it, with the vehicles moving down the trail in the dark and the red sunset in the distance was epic. High quality video all around as always.
Thanks for the awesome compliments
Bummer about the drone and the disrespectful hunters... Looked like a great route nonetheless! Thanks!
Thanks! It was a great route.
What a great adventure...next time we'll be rig #9. What a great group of folks!
Come along anytime.
Not sure about the area you traveled, many of Floirda's WMA are off limits to travel/camping during hunting season. Based on my experience working on gun ranges I wouldn't want to be anywhere near people are hunting. Winter is the best time to travel the back roads, almost no mosquitos, low rain and less water in those big mud pits. Hope you had a good time.
Thanks for the info
I hate you lost another drone!!!! Some good drone work before.
Glad you’re having a great trip!!!! I’m looking forward to the next video.
Thanks! We hated it also. Next Sunday we will have another one out. Thanks for following along.
Some masterful drone flying through the trees. I would be scared. Great to see you making your way through Florida!!!
Thanks! We will be back in March
Great video Coddi..! Sorry about the drone..!!
Thanks!
Man what an adventure… between the tent incident (I did watch the vid on It and that was crazy) to mad hunters and finally the drone going down you guys actually looked like you are having an amazing adventure.
Few things, it would be really cool to see a walk around of some of the other rigs. I am building out my JTR and always looking for ideas. The other thing is if you send that flight data to DJI they might replace the drone (assuming it’s a DJI) I watched a vid where a guys drone did the same thing and they replaced it.
Anyways nice video. Good to see different parts of the county and not just out west. One reason why I enjoy your channel!
It was quite an adventure! That is a good idea for the rig walk-arounds. As far as the drone, we did have the replacement insurance and have already received our replacement drone. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the channel plug brother!!! Did the same for you on my channel!!!! Great meeting you all!!! Enjoying the videos!!!
Thanks, we watched your video also. Great meeting you.
Awesome video. Sorry you encountered angry and crazy people! You are getting pretty good with the drone! Going through all those trees and then the night shot was great! I’ve never seen one like that at night!
Thank you!
Great video. We lived in Florida for years and can’t wait to travel back especially now that we know of some trails to travel on. Our family loves your videos.
Thank you. Definitely check out the F.A.T.
@@CoddiwompleOverland we will. Thank you for showing it. Looking forward to seeing more.
Thanks for following along.
Man what a sweet trip
Definitely!
Really wish I could had made this trip with yall but life happened looked amazing
Same here.
My wife and I were out Jeep riding near SR 30 in Wakulla and saw you all refueling. I had no idea who the group was but I knew from the gear and mud on your Jeeps, y'all were probably going the F.A.T. I wish more I had turned around to speak. Nice video. Very few roads in the ANF that we haven't explored!
Cool, wish you would have stopped. we love meeting people.
That looks like a great road trip across FL. Maybe I will do this route on my way to S.C./N.C. in April.
We loved it.
LOL, that's a Sand Shower for when you spend time on the beach or in the water, you can wash it out of clothing and off body
LOL...we know.
That looked like an awesome adventure out there and I was curious what happened with Kelly I didn't see that big ram on the video
It was! Kelly was working on some home projects that week
Years ago when I would go with my grandfather to fly model airplanes, we would bring along a fishing pole with a tennis ball on it. We used it to literally fish any planes out of the small pond that was on the property. Doesn't do much good if it is caught in branches, or if it sinks, but it was a good tool to retrieve parts that were otherwise unreachable.
Oh, and the hunters get like that on the WMAs down here. I've had similar occurrences in ONF and Tossohatchee. We try to avoid those areas during certain parts of the season because of it. We should all be able to share the same space, but some folks think WMAs and NFs are good for only one thing. All good, we have plenty of other places to play in the woods. Just a bummer that we have to make those concessions.
We agree with the WMA thoughts.
Men I will like to tackle in one of rides with you guys after I put my wheela d tires be awesome cheers from tampa thx for sharing
Thanks for watching.
I hate how entitled some people feel out in the woods. I read an article about a guy who sabotaged another guys tree stand on public land because it was, "his hunting spot." Public land is for everybody.
Agree 💯%
That's how the local hunters, and off roaders, are in the area. They all think it is their land to do whatever they want. Enjoy the off roading for now because it is getting even worse with how they are destroying the area. Going everywhere they want. Making their own new trails. They never stay just on the designated ones and if it has water, they go thru it. They, and hunters, run over any wildlife they can. It's quite sad what they do to our wild areas. Good thing is more people are reporting the activities and getting more people busted.
Just an FYI. Drones are also illegal in both Tates Hell and the Apalachicola NF.
Thanks
You drove right past my cousin's river house, Big Bend I growed up there fishing in crabbing.
That is a spectacular place!
Nice video bud. I’m from SW Florida and will be moving up that way in the next year or so. Good to see there is some other Jeeping groups up there. Maybe ill see you guys on the trail or hook up for a ride. 👍🏻
Thanks, let us know when you're up this way.
Maybe you should look up some real Swamp Crackers in this area
Great video, awesome drone shots! Over 5 k views "nice job" what's your secret?
Thanks for the compliment. Honestly, we have no secret just getting out and having fun.
Oh No! I'm so sorry you lost your drone that sucks! At least you didn't lose all the footage. I'm assuming you backed things up each night?
Thanks, no footage lost.
@@CoddiwompleOverland that’s good. I don’t know what I would hate more. Losing the drone or the footage.
From experience...footage.
@@CoddiwompleOverland yeah. I’d probably feel the same.
goddamn i spent like an hour asking ChatGpt what the physics behind a bridge constructed in this way were and I could NOT get to a bridge that looked that long. I think that makes me a nerd... CWO, thank you for a great video as usual.
Yea I have never seen a bridge constructed in thT manner either. Thanks for watching!
Yeah, not a good idea attempting to retrieve that drone. Some of that marsh land will suck you under just like quicksand.
Agree
Only place in usa thats safe from cold is s. Fla....im in south. az...its freezing here....67 nights so far w temps 14 to 25 degrees in morning
Our coldest night in FL was 28°
LOL "42 in florida" Yall ass' get WAY colder in Kentucky. As a Floridian...I know those fools were in sweatshirts at 70 degrees though lol
😂😂😂
Looks like the motors failed on the drone. Do you all have the DJI protection plan? It's worth the money.
Yes, we did.
Its been a long time since I been there. But driving by the hunters should not be a problem.
Now running over a dog might be. Not saying yall did.
It has nice roads now. I think i liked tstes hell better when buckeye owned it.
Thanks for watching!
I've been yelled at by a group of dog hunters, accusing us of "tearing up the roads" while a guy in their group cut a donut in the road and tore off after their dogs, literally tearing up the roads.....
Same here.
Too many of the off roaders do indeed tear up the roads. If it has water, they will make it bigger and deeper by going thru it fast, peeling out in it, etc. The numbered roads are maintained and are not meant for mudding. Even though this is exactly what they do while they also go in the ditches (illegal) tearing that up too.
As much as I don't like the dog hunters either, the off roaders are just as bad. I never understood the desire to go out somewhere just to tear things up and do things illegally. Drones are illegal in Tates Hell for example and yet here's another video of someone ignoring the laws. Pretty typical of off roaders.
Sorry you feel this way about all off road and hunters.
@@CoddiwompleOverland It is their behavior that causes it. A guy recorded satellite imagery of certain areas where he documented the destruction caused by off roaders in this region. I have personally seen it myself over the years. Roads get blocked by the forest service with gates put up and off roaders will make a way to go around it. There are lowlands where they have been turned into mudpits because of the destruction.
It's not a secret that off roaders aren't out to find ways to go through any habitat they can without thinking of what they are doing. Find me one in the area that isn't doing it illegally. Heck, you even posted this video here of illegal activity.
Thanks for your input.
From the hunters perspective a group of vehicles traveling through will only scare off the game they're hunting.
Thanks for your insite.
How is that anyone's fault besides the hunters? If you're worried about motorized vehicles go in the woods away from the road. It's simple.
This solidified my resolve to stay the hell out of florida. What a trash place.
Even with all the craziness, we still had a good time. Thanks for your opinion. We appreciate it.
У вас хорошие машины. В росии есть машина нива полное говно .
We do have some good off-road vehicles for sure.
Why I'm not a big fan of dog hunters. They think they own the damn forest here.
They certainly acted like it
It's so annoying and disrespectful when y'all show up ( in large groups ), to campsites after dark and talk loud as you're making a lot of noise setting up your camps ! Also, driving through occupied campsites after dark !
Show some respect for campers who are there and setup before you. How would you like to be woken up at 5 am because you annoyed me at 9 pm the night before ? Too bad, show me no respect and you will get none from me !
We have had hunters walk into our camp unannounced after dark several times. We have even had them shoot coons out of the trees right next to our camp.. You are correct respect goes both ways.
