It actually was a WW2 Browning hi-power i think, but he just magically turned it into a Makarov😂 I think this video is ovbiously fake, that's why we don't see a comparison at the end. (it's a shame tho that he probably ruined a great ww2 find)
100% even that badly damaged from rust it can blew right in the face even though found better condition from previous years it was full mag with extra full mag we threw away we didn't know from previous owner
It's supposed to be more like a show piece for a museum than an actual usable tool. Also with all the cavitation I wouldnt trust it's rigidity for my own safety. But its nice to see some life back in it.
Seen a few people asking for a test fire. Browning fitted this type with a safety seer . Without it the top of the weapon will come back and hit the person holding the gun. Safety seers have to be in perfect condition. I would not pull the trigger on this weapon ,in a million years.

frankly, it is not clear why you leave the work half done. you demonstrate that you are capable of a total restoration, then you fall on things like the trigger guard, left as it was while it is very easy to restore, you demonstrate that you can redo the missing parts, then you leave many pieces in disgusting conditions, you waste a lot of time to redo pieces such as hammer, extractor, trigger, and barrel, which are found as new and as spare parts for little money. buy the grips and not a magazine ... to finish, instead of polishing the steel and then burnished, you paint it, not even it was a toy.
When you make that close up shots...its like watching the surface of Planet Mars.😅
My farher wast a policeman, i had this same model a as regulation weapon for 26 years, i had it in my hands many times...beautiful weapon😍

Very crude and left unfinished. Better off leaving it as it was before.
Holy hell that's the hackiest of hack jobs I've ever seen. Please stay far far away from firearms.

Stop ruining them welding just makes them look bad looks stop trying to make them look new

You’re not restoring it, merely cleaning the rust off it. Granted it’s a piece of history but also a piece of junk! Hardly worth the effort put forth!
