I had a '68 GTO convertible when in the Air Force. It was an automatic with the Hurst Dual Gate (aka His-n-Hers) shifter. Later had a ' 69 4 speed coupe also.

_Owned a '68 GTO convertible in Orbit orange with a black top and black interior many many years ago. The car was unique because as it had power windows, power driver seat, and hide away headlamps. (Also in the 400 engine, and Hurst dual gate shifter). Plus it was a Southern California car! Today if I would have held onto it, it would be worth at least 50 large! In the meantime, this classic Poncho is a bargain!_

Wow the undercarriage is really nice on that and looks like the gas tank was replaced too !!

My guess with your speed bump is that it got plowed away since tenn is not used to snow and does not mark the bumps for the drivers to lift the blades over.

GRRR. Seems like a decent price on a real deal 242 goat 'vert in good driver condition. Looks like she may be getting some rust issues in the floor especially near the braces but nothing that can't be fixed. Gas Tires n Oil, a real road king.
