Someone will get a good deal. True numbers matching GTO for $29k even if it needs some work. Plus the horn works too.

Could have easily asked for more and it would sell just as quickly.

It's a Pontiac... it's no surprise, that the horn works. There is no aftermarket steeringwheel installed. :)

I had one in 1974. 455 and geared for off the line. Never saw so many cops when I owned it. After a tune up got 8mpg. Wish I never sold it😭. This car is too quite.

When I was in high school in the mid 80s I had this exact same model with the 400, 4 Speed and all. I sold it when I went into the military and I still regret it to this day. Mine was black though

    Just a thought about "pulling":
All the videos I've watched on this awesome channel "the pull" is always to the Right. Keep in mind it may not be the vehicles issues.
When we pave roads there is an designed arch in the center of the road than spans and tapers rapidity left to right. The more narrow the road the more pronounced the degree of slope. This arch or crown as its sometimes called, sheets rain water off the lanes quickly to the side gutters so rain water doesn't puddle and minimizes hydroplaning.
So the pull to the right is natural physics and gravity and may not necessarily mean there is a problem with the vehicle. When we drive we keep or hands on the wheel when we drive anyway. Showing the viewers the hands free of the wheel is just his honestly once again proving to us how this company really wants us to know what were getting. Not many good people like this are out there anymore.
When he tests for pull I've noticed sometimes he holds onto the wheel ever so lightly and he can still feel the pull tugging. Letting go shows us what happens.
Its engineered this way. So perhaps the "looser" more worn front end gear simply follows the gravity. The stiffer front end gear holds it straight even with the crown/arch in some cases.
Although these example pull tests are not on flat ground they still show the value what your dealing with on the condition of the vehicle.
Vehicles with excessive "play" will tend to be in the group that drifts or pulls to the right. If he ever let's go of the wheel and he changes one lane to the left not that's going to be some serious front end work. 😉
Another test of pulling would be on a flat non sloped paved surface like an air strip or drag strip and some really wide freeways have a wider span to disperse water over a longer distance softening the slope and can be a good test grounds.
Love these videos. My new addiction. Keep up the great work!🚙
I'm waiting for my 69 Cougar and I'll need to check with our financial department (my wife) to see if I can get it! It'll have to be shipped to Oregon.
Keep up the good work Maple Motors.

I like the goat but looks like it may have been hit in the rear, right rear qtr bulged and other rear corner push in and bulged also.
I see the paint is cracked also due to the being flexed.
Could easily be repaired but may cost to get it done right, and match that nice paint job.

I own a 72 GTO...Pontiacs always rode nice, Its not lowered, it needs springs...I agree that that L/R quarter at the bumper has something going on, surprised Nick didn't point that out as he does not hide issues...and he missed addressing the factory 8 track....I still would buy a car from him with 100% comfort....Wish him well.......

The '70 GTO was my favorite. I like the endura front bumper better than the 68-69 GTO's with their hideaway headlights. This blue GTO is in excellent condition with the one exception being a crack in the dash. Wonder if that 8-track tape player still works. Probably not.

Good to see someone resisted the urge to put Judge stripes and spoiler on! They do look good but now you see more Judges than regular GTO's and all the real one's are kept in climate controlled storage. Love Lucerne blue on 70 and 71's! Also it's hard to beat the Rally II's on a GTO!!!! God bless Nick!
