Thank you for posting. I can't imagine why anyone would down thumb this video unless they simply wanted to see actual surgery which your title does not even imply. I think you did a great job with this video. Implants are in my future because of radiation damage to my mouth so this video really helped me. Thanks again!!!
Thanks once again for the videos! For all the viewers, you will learn a wealth of info if you go back to the very 1st video on dentures and implants! She really puts so much effort and time into really helping and sharing her experiences. GREAT!
Thanks for your honest review, it’s hard trying to find people who aren’t just making promotion pieces for dental businesses. I’m trying to decide which way to go with this & it’s quite a new procedure in Scotland so I appreciate the information. Your teeth look great & you’re very pretty thanks again and good luck.
I am 22 years old with decaying teeth in part due to hereditary weak teeth and a few years of poor diet and oral hygiene. And I was considering the same type of implants you have with my dentist but I was concerned with living with them. After hearing you on how you live with them and how they are about as close as you can get to a fully restored smile I think they are for me. I'm just not thrilled on temporary dentures. But according to my dentist it's only for 1-2 months.
Sarah Plays Games I'm 24 and starting the process this month. Thanks to tons of different medical conditions and medications, my teeth just break all the time. Plus its a possible source of infection so its free! I'm scared as hell but hopefully they'll give me general anesthetic like when I got my wisdom teeth out. How was your experience, if I may ask?
I'm sorry but the cost is ridiculous here in the USA for dental procedures. They charge you guys so much because of insurance costs. It is much cheaper in mexico and neighboring countries and with the same quality, you just have to really investigate your sources. Much luck to everyone on here:)
I have just been catching up on your videos. So very happy that you won the contest. You are amazing, and have really helped me get prepared for getting a full upper and partial lower denture. I go next week for impressions and the scale-root planing (geeze, can they make that sound any worse). Thanks for all the info, and again congratulations on that beautiful smile! Yay!
Thx for having the courage to face your situation head on. I lost 3 of my upper front teeth in a car crash when I was 19 and I am now 52. It just devistated me and I have not been the same since. It's effected every aspect of my life and I am a different person than I would have been if this never happened to me. I currently have a porcelin bridge that spans the three teeth and three of my reall teeth. Bad news is it's 16 years old! It looks horrible and I don't smile. I'm saving money to get the implants and should have enough in a year or so. How much do you think it will cost me to get the implants and the other three teeth capped? Thx again-J
Do you go without any kind of dentures or teeth until you get your implants? Could you please tell me what state and how much it cost for upper and lower all on 4? It sure would help me out. Thank you!
I have two implants and a bridge -- three teeth all together $5,000 6 years ago. The color matched nicely when I first put them in but now as I have gotten older my natural teeth have yellowed and the implant teeth are denture looking. If I had it to do over I would have selected a darker color to accommodate the color change. I wish the color specialist had mentioned this.
I LOVE how you've shared your experience here! I'm actually a Dental Implant Consultant here in Florida, so to hear feed back from patients like yourself is really useful for patients i talk to that are considering this procedure. I'm glad you LOVE your teeth and they do look beautiful. The acrylic with titanium bar is also a really strong material however if you ever want a more long lasting material that doesn't stain we use zirconia teeth (only for upper and lower due to the material being so strong both upper and lower materials have to be compatible). You could drink as much coffee as you'd like and less likely to chip crack or break. Otherwise i appreciate you sharing your experience. Very helpful for people considering this treatment & anyone that would like more information please inbox/message me i'd be more than happy to help!!
Hey Kim! This is a common problem but luckily here at New teeth now we wouldn't have to add bone...our surgeons are 3/15 in the whole world that can place implants on patients with very little to no bone IF you got the full upper or lower replaced which would be an option since you have 4 already missing. Feel free to call me at 8636658878 and i'd be happy to go over everything in more detail! Just ask for Emily :)
What I have are rows of teeth on acrylic, similar to dentures. So yes, underneath the bridges, the swelling went down from surgery so i'll need a reline to compensate for that.
I got an estimate of $47,000 usd here in Atlanta. Outrageous! I traveled to costa rica and had a full dental restoration done for $20,000. State of the art facility, GREAT surgeon, and the nicest people. I had a 6 over 4 procedure, Absolutely NO pain. Coata Rica Dental team in San Jose Costa Rica. There is no better place in the world to have dental implants done. They changed my life.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. After seeing your video I have decided I want this. Now I have it scheduled to get this done.. I'm so excited.
Was it a difficult procedure? Do you recommend it? How long did it take? Were you OK with wearing the things you needed to wear while waiting for your bones to grow?
aug.2024, Hi i just had my top teeth removed and its very sore.. im considering getting top implants but im curious as to the pain of having the screws put in... Thanks for your videos..its helping alot. Thanks Carol
Do people get sick from the acrylic in the long run? Do they get stomach problems or other organ problems from the metal and acrylic permanently being in your mouth? I am just curious.
Im considering implants since I don't like smiling due to having a slightly browned tooth as a result of necrosis that set in the tooth and roots and it doesnt look nice and I don't smile in photos as a result of that. Has having implants made a difference in your social life meaning you feel more attractive?
If I may ask...how much did the implants set you back? I recently read that many thousands are going abroad for implants and other dental care because they are so much cheaper outside the country. I read that Costa Rica (a popular "dental tourist" destination) charges $750 per implant on average. I was considering this alternative because my dentist quoted me $5000 per implant and my insurance doesn't cover implants (supposedly most carriers don't). I totally understand if my question was too personal, so no worries if I overstepped :)
I am so impressed with this video. Just listening to your speech makes my eyes well up. I have recently had both upper and lower dental implants like yourself, however, my speech is awful. I can't pronounce esses, or any words that contain esses without a whistling sound, and it's very audible. I paid $75k Australian for the work. I do understand that the teeth they made were very different to what I had originally. You see I had a class C bite. My top teeth came down behind my bottom teeth, and so they tried to fix this by making my top arch more forward than my bottom arch. The problem they created was caused by the fact that my bottom jaw is longer than the top, so to give me a more natural looking smile there is a huge gap between my teeth and they are so far forward that my tongue can't reach and form S sounds properly. The clinic staff member saw that at a certain distance between the original teeth the two jaws did line up so they over compensated by making the bottom arch much longer than my original teeth so they go behind the top. It is not easy to eat, speaking is awful, my friends have all commented on the fact that my face is fuller because the teeth are so far forward, which bothers me greatly seeing as I need to lose about 20kg of weight, when my face slims down it's going to look weird. The procedure was effortless and virtually pain free, but the outcome for the cost is definitely not what I was expecting it to be. So seeing your video has made me so envious that your smile, your teeth, your speech and everything is just so natural. Congratulations. I need to have my teeth corrected, seriously. Thank you deeply for your video it has been much appreciated.
Did you make a video an the actual surgery , or not so much the surgery itself , just the whole procedure?? I'd love to hear about it, I'm doing so much research right now and you are giving me hope..I lost my teeth, due to the same reasons as you pretty much and I feel I have lost my life..I really need to do something...I'm wasting my life here.Thank you
If you click on my username "Kalinjax" You will be taken to my channel where you will find all of my videos. There are a few "trip to Vegas" videos which cover the whole implant procedure.... well, not really filming during the implant placement but there's tons of information there! Hope this helps and good luck!
Thank you! I won the implants in a contest so, no charge to me. Minus the cost of airfare, transportation, and hotel (for two trips) the cost was in the upper $40k range. Hope that helps!
GOD would I die to have these! But basically $40k to $50k is what I am hearing for both arches is insane and robbery! I had my friend, oral surgeon, extract all my teeth for free and I bought healing dentures and top of the line Aspen perm dentures and total cost only $2700... But I absolutely canNOT live the rest of my life with this plastic nightmare of removable dentures, mainly the pallet closed off and why I have to get the 4 in 1 somehow. I just do not understand how anyone can justify this much additional cost for me to get 4 (x2) implanted anchors and take the same material I already paid for in my perm denture I am supposed to get in 6 months but it is just reinforced with metal to support with an OPEN PALLET (GOD THIS WOULD CHANGE MY LIFE! ! I am a 44 year old man brought to tears over this, I don't/can't eat, don't smile I am depressed because of it to the point on antidepressants)...
hi Can you bite into an apple? ... heard someone say they couldn't do that anymore, i was really surprised to hear this, as i was thinking of getting 3 implants....
maintenance cost.....I've been told they have to be cleaned at a dentist office every 3 to 6 months. is this true and what's the price range of such a procedure?
no noel in general they don't.if you are on certain drugs called iv bisphosphonates,if you've had head and neck radiation or high dose chemotherapy they are not recommended and can cause harm.if you are medically fit to accept implants they don't not cause any health detoriation whatsoever.
I hear if you use titanium it is not a poisoning metal. Also, I have a full mouth of implants, very expensive, but no infections, digestive problems. no doubt, its an individual thing. :)
Sorry,to ask but do you have a full set. I have my temp all on four and was surprised that I only have 12 teeth. Do I we back miler on the permeate set? How is eating can u true eat any thing. Candy, apples corn on cob .. Please answer"
why did you need a bridge as I thought implants worked individually whereby the new porcelain tooth is secured each with a titanium screw so no need for bridge work
How long did it take to get an appointment with Dr. Golpa? And what exactly was the full cost fir your procedure? I'm sorry if this has already been answered. I have sent Dr. Golpa an email but have not received a response yet.
how much did you spent for implant after dentures. You think it would be a good idea to have complete denture on the top jaw and two or four implant on the lower jaw
Thank you for this video. I am having full dental implants top and bottom jaws and this video has relieved my anxieties about the procedure and the end result thank you so much.
This is giving me slight doubts. I really did WANT implants so I can have straight teeth with a good bite and no more sensitivity and the proneness to cavities. I already have missing molars, all molars I have are filled and ugly front teeth that are crooked one is cracked one filled so much it's translucent. But the food trap thing is giving me serious doubts. I hate the idea of not being able to clean food out of my own mouth. I'm just too anal about that. But I don't want to do braces, then veneers, then just inevitably end up having MORE work done to these teeth because of cavities again and needing to probably replace missing back teeth with implants anyway. But the food thing really gets me. I'll have to look into implant supported removable dentures, so I could remove to clean but wouldn't have to. I do wonder if that actually is a thing.
I'm in the process of getting individual implants & crowns. I've stopped chewing gum now. So it's been 10 years, how's it going, because i heard they only last between 10-20 years and I'm scared i can't afford to replace them.
Thanks Coley! God, i'm sorry you have had so many issues with your denture journey. Everyone's situation really is so unique :( It's still up in the air as to whether he'll be doing another contest. Fingers crossed! I don't think the relines with these should be anywhere near as frequent as relines with dentures.
did you read up on the implants is it safe to have that metal in your mouth I know that fillings have mercury so I was wondering if you thoroughly investigated those.
These videos don’t show the people that don’t have good outcomes. If you are allergic to any metals. You can’t get implants. Living with something that you are allergic too. Would make you sick, If you have osteoporosis or autoimmune disease you can’t get them either, People with diabetes for example. If you have gum disease which half of people in the US do. You would not be candidate for implants. People over 65 don’t do well with implants either. I am on medication for depression. So the medication and my gum disease. Would eliminate me. My mental health is not strong enough for months of recovery either.
I know you made this video quite awhile ago, but that may be a good thing because it means you have been living with the implants for even longer. I just got mine and really was interested in what you had to say about the cleaning of them because I'm now having to deal with the Water Pik. Anyway, watching this video scared me even more because you discussed the canker sores and a loose screw and even relining and repairs, so I never heard about any of those things from my dentist and never thought about any of it. It turns out that I got a new dentist to do this work and I hate him, but it cost me $20,000.00, and nine months so far, and things are still not perfect. I just got the permanent ones in a few days ago and I'm "trying them out." I have to go back again to have any adjustments made. So, I guess I'd like to ask what, if any, other issues you've had and any costs incurred. I know you are still happy to have nice looking teeth, but I'm 71 and have other health issues, so dealing with these and the Water Pik and them not feeling perfect, and they do affect my speech, because of my tongue hitting the appliance, and so I wondered if you also had to deal with them affecting your speech. I only have them on the top. I just noticed another of your videos entitled hidden costs...so I'm already freaking out. OK, if you can find the time to address what I've said here, I'd appreciate it. I don't know how I receive an answer though. Oh, my teeth are acrylic. Hope I did the right thing with that. Chewing gum is an issue. Thanks.
Implants are expensive to maintain, My mom is in her 70s she has five individual implants. The rest of her teeth are one bridge and some crowns, She had four fail. They had to be removed and done again. That cost $5,000 each time that happened. The 5th one got infection underneath the implant, She had to have the implant removed the infection drained 10 days of antibiotics, It had to be done again. People paint really rosy pictures. Of big smiles and no complications. It doesn’t always turn out that way. Now my aunt has partial denture. She has had it for ten years with no problem.
Glad your happy with your implants! Might be me but it seems your dentures looked even better than your implants.More of your lower teeth showed with your dentures.Either way your smile looks great and you are beautiful!
Very informative Kristi thank you so much! I was very curious about the space between the bridge and the gums and how food getting in there affects you, and you answered that very well! Thank you for the links also, I will check them out! Love this video and you are such a pretty lady, and you seem so happy!! Hugs to you from Texas! Donna :D
Ok can I ask you a kinda stupid question.. Did your gums bleed when they were getting used to the bridge.. I have a bridge in my mouth and half of it broke so I replaced half and it never fit the same so I'm going to replace the other half but I'm super scared.. Please if u could write some words of encouragement....,,,right now I have a temporary that feels so bulky and I just been feeling so ugly.... I go on on Monday....,
You look beautiful. No one would ever guess these weren't your natural teeth. This Dr. Golpa is obviously very talented. How many teeth are there in total? And are they porcelain? Thanks.
i know you are getting so many questions i am getting some soon i went thru the same thing but how long was the process takes i am very nervous i never had anything like this done before
$ 45000?! OMG, i dont think i have that much of money but i need implants. how many days did it take him to let's say 'extract a teeth and insert an implant' ? or did you go home in between procedures, toothless ?
Well it has been 1 week from yesterday that i had my 6 implants done on top and I'm still really swollen and i can't wear my dentures yet thank you so much for the videos they are great and thats why i have implants now Thanks so much
I worked in assisted living n older ppl have serious chewing issues if there teeth r in bad shape or if they have dentures n they get alzheimers n keep throwing away there dentures by mistake n no longer put or allow caregivers to put denture adhesive on there dentures ,they lose weight n end up on puree diets that r unsatisfying so I woyld suggest implants before u reach that point plus u want to get it done before your on so many pills it becomes dangerous to put u under ,I had a friend do his whole mouth here for $10,000 yrs ago now they have financing n pmts im 48 by my 55 bday ill have them done. My friends mouth kept regecting the implants n he kept going back because of infections he said its to much pain to endure if u do 1 by 1 so he just did his whole mouth he was 60.
Yeah, I can see getting two implants at a time to alleviate the burden of the cost but eventually you'll probably want to get two more on each arch. Did your dentist tell you that two would be a permanent solution? Sorry! I know it's got to be frustrating! A reline might help but in the long run I think you'll need a couple more implants.....
First of you I think you are really cute and love your smile . Anyways I have some disgusting teeth !! I am so sick of it I have to make a decision . I have many missing teeth , broken teeth and messed up teeth . I have not been to a dentist in 10 years . Some of the factors are genetics ( dad lost all his teeth by the time he was 25 ) horrible Pepsi addiction which I do not do anymore , accidents in which I lost some teeth and of course some bad dentists . I feel so embarrassed . Every time my friends / family wants to take pictures I refuse to take pic because I feel so ugly . I really enjoyed your conversation , you are giving me some hope Right now I have to make the extremely important decision . Very good video !
I'm a cosmetology school instructor and know that they are so important for self esteem! I'm in the beauty industry and lost mine after a major cancer and STRONG CHEMOTHERAPY . It has truly changed the way I FEEL AND PERCIEVE MY SELF WORTH. I'm embarrassed by my shallow thinking. It's traumatizing and I'm sorry you're going through this too. My tops are fine. But the bottoms are horrible, after 5+ years I STILL CANNOT eat with them in. I've stopped dating because of this and everything. I'm definitely not the same person. 😢
I loved the sausage story, had me rolling..too funny!!!!! but my question is, if you have dentures already do they use the same dentures you have and turn them into implants or do you have to buy a whole different set?
My dear, the word is "osseointegration" where ossio means bone in latin. Your denture looks beautiful. Congratulation and thanks for sharing your experience.
Hey there kalinjax... I just want to tell you that I am having the all on four done very soon. I am only getting the top done bc I cannot afford both. I am so scared of the procedure I will be getting it done in an OR because of my medical history... Just Thursday I had to choose a size shape and color! Never thought I would be shopping for all of that...Lol Oh yea and the gum color Yikes Do you remember what color and all that that you chose?? Thank you
Do you know of any one who has gone to Costa Rica to have this done? Apparently it cost a lot less then in the U.S. Less insurance for the Dr,s. But safety?.???
You look really Great. I need 4 implants. Your teeth look natural, white and beautiful! Thanks for the helpful video. The music is Classy and it's just the right volume!! Most people have it too loud.
Just one more thing. If it's not too personal how were you able to pay for it. I can't afford it and I heard that its $2000. for each tooth. I am trying to figure out a way but I don't have that kind of income. Thanks.
Please please please .. can you do a detailed and extensive video on how to take floss and use a waterpik to take care of your implants ... I have all on 8 but was not shown properly by my implantologist who has moved interstate
Fantastic! I thought I had Implants done in 04 but last month they all fell out! I wish I'd had the top & bottom done. I had cadaver bone in bottom, then the implant. I have a denture on top. (not a good dentist!) Then went to another dentist & they looked wonderful. Why would they fall out?? What happened to me? I've spent $$$ on my teeth & now I am waiting to see what's next. Help!!
Thank you SO much for sharing your experience. I want to know if they feel like dentures without a palette or if they feel like your natural teeth. I know that they don't have nerves so I don't mean the feeling of hot and cold; I mean are they thick like dentures or thin like natural teeth? Would you say they are more like having a permanent denture or more like having natural teeth? Thanks for reading.
So thankful I ran across your video. I haven't watched this one all the way yet but, now I know I'm certain I'd rather get all on so many instead of dentures. You're so lucky you won the contest. I'm 29 been on pain pills and others since I was 11 and no matter how much dental trips or brushing mine still decided to rot thanks to the medication. But, unless some rich person wants to donate to my new smile I'll never get it. Lol
I can help you. Our September 2015 program providing All-on-4 treatment may be what you're looking for. Nobel Biocare is sponsoring it and we have some of the best doctors in the world on our team. Too good to be true? Watch my video at FreeImplants.org. This is the real deal and if you need this procedure do not wait. I'll need you to send a CT scan to my office and once I look at it I'll call you to discuss what we can do for you. We only have room for 8 more patients. We will be offering it again in March 2016.
+Drs. Steven and Bridget Hurst I'm looking to get free implants. I was hit with a baseball bat and haven't smiled in over a decade and a half. I can't afford the work and suffer from depression because of this. I ran across this video by mistake but very interested in how to go about getting them...
I hope you get them because you want them. For now have your bad teeth removed. At low Income dental clinic. Get traditional dentures so you can smile and eat. Rather then suffer with no teeth. I am getting dentures. Looking forward to saying goodbye to infected teeth. Hello to healthy mouth and eating without teeth breaking.
For me, we actually had my dentures so he picked out teeth as similar as he could to those. If you still have your teeth, he could use them for comparison, or denture teeth. If you have nothing, you could use a picture of yourself. If all else fails, it's a guessing game. There are also wax try-ins so that you can be sure what you are getting will look right on you. Hope that helps!
Thank you. You do so much for us. You are truly a pioneer being a beautiful young woman who helps denture wearers *come out of the closet." So informative and so brave. xoxo
Hi! Thanks for all your videos.I feel your pain. I just had three lower back teeth (in a row) extracted a few days ago and it's devastating . I don;t know what I will have done.Implant or bridge. Nothing to attach the teeth to since three in a row missing and said I would need two bone grafts. I am scared. My cheeks are swollen and I can only eat on my right side of mouth. To top it off, last night while brushing a crown came off my top front tooth. UGH!!!!
I only need uppers and there are only 4 teeth- one dentis is willing to do this in stages to address gum healing after the extractions; can you give me a ball park of your cost; upers were quotes by 2 dentists at 25k the 3rd DDS 32+ yikes. TY
I am so happy for you Kristi :) Thanks for all the info it was a Great Video :) How I would love to be able to eat like that lol...I haven't had a salad since before eday :/ lol...I am praying that Dr. Golpa hosts another contest soon, and that I can be as lucky as you :) Do you have to get relines with those as often as you would with dentures?
The implants themselves are made out of titanium. That is the only material that is known to stay in bone without causing an infection and becoming loose Question: can you eat carrots? Celery? Hard nuts like almonds. What about with the old-style removable dentures?
+Paul Erricson I have read that the implant itself can be made of zirconia. It is an alternative for people who are allergic or sensitive to titanium. There is a test that can be done to determine if you are allergic. I plan on having this test done before I spend that kind of money on implants.
Your video was informing. I see that several people have asked you how much this cost you. Why aren't you giving them an answer? We would just like to know so we can see if it is something we can afford or we move on. Could you please let us know the cost or explain why you can't?
Agreed. But you can lower the cost by using an implant clinic, who only does implants. Stay away from the overpriced local oral surgeons & prosthodontists. I had my all-on-4 upper arch with Zirconia bridge done for $15K, total. My local oral surgeon wanted $50K. The implant clinics are leading the way in helping people to afford implant supported dentures.
I agree they are way way overpriced. They should be more affordable. Not everyone who has classic dentures will be able to have implants. The majority of will have classic dentures. My mother has four implants on the bottom. In the front to replace the teeth she lost. So far she had two fail. The dentist redid them and charged my mom. Exactly what she paid the first time. She also developed an infection in another. After food got caught underneath it. Unless you have fantastic dental insurance that covers them. Which most insurance carriers do not. Or you have the financial resources. To address any problems that arise. Getting the best denture you can afford. Is cheaper and easier to maintain.
How did you lose all your teeth? Poor brushing habit? Most of my teeth had decays due to poor brushing and drinking a lot of soda drinks when I was young.
I have lost a lot of my teeth and my dentist says All-on-Four implants are the best option for me. I want them but cannot afford them so am in the process of trying to raise the money needed. I am wondering what they will be like, so your description has given me a better understanding. A comment below by Peggy Kipina is a bit worrying though, because I do not want to mess up my ability to speak clearly. I am a singer-songwriter and am worried about how implants will affect my voice.
all on 4 lasts for 10 years is what I have been reading . so what happens after the 10 years? do you have them redone or do you have to go back to dentures or do they move the implants to a new area in the mouth . still cost so much money!
Yes you have to have redone. Whatever you paid at the time you got them. In ten years you will be spending the same amount of money again. These are not like natural teeth. They are A more expensive version of dentures.
Thank you for posting. I can't imagine why anyone would down thumb this video unless they simply wanted to see actual surgery which your title does not even imply. I think you did a great job with this video. Implants are in my future because of radiation damage to my mouth so this video really helped me. Thanks again!!!

What an amazing journey you've being on. I fear my teeth on the edge with my constant gum problems. Always have said I would go with implants
I had the same procedure as you did. I love mine. It's not a cheap procedure but to me, it was worth every cent.
how much it cost
SueGfromTX how much?
was the healing hard?
Going through the procedure myself. Finished my extractions and the implants will be installed in March.
Do you go without any kind of dentures or teeth until you get your implants? Could you please tell me what state and how much it cost for upper and lower all on 4? It sure would help me out. Thank you!

Very helpful for people considering this treatment & anyone that would like more information please inbox/message me i'd be more than happy to help!!
hi just wanna know how much will cost for 4 implants and my bone is flat i think i need that think to make bone regrowth

You are a beautiful woman and your story is so inspirational. Thank you for your videos.
Wow...Your teeth look amazing! I was wondering how does Dr Gulpa choose what shape and size of teeth are right for your specific face.
Hope this helps and good luck!
kalinjax
Thank you! I won the implants in a contest so, no charge to me. Minus the cost of airfare, transportation, and hotel (for two trips) the cost was in the upper $40k range. Hope that helps!
I lost 7 teeth after getting jumped by 3 guys and im getting them fixed hopefully in a week.. this video gave me so much support .. much love
! I am a 44 year old man brought to tears over this, I don't/can't eat, don't smile I am depressed because of it to the point on antidepressants)...
hi
Can you bite into an apple? ... heard someone say they couldn't do that anymore, i was really surprised to hear this, as i was thinking of getting 3 implants....
maintenance cost.....I've been told they have to be cleaned at a dentist office every 3 to 6 months. is this true and what's the price range of such a procedure?
35-40k
+SmalltimR I'm not talking about the cost if getting the teeth....I mean maintenance... cleaning?
Oh well in that cas, it's only 5K per visit.
Yes it is true. The dentist has special tool to remove them for cleaning. Then they put it back in your mouth.
i hear that dental implants come with serious medical side effects, is this true?
no noel in general they don't.if you are on certain drugs called iv bisphosphonates,if you've had head and neck radiation or high dose chemotherapy they are not recommended and can cause harm.if you are medically fit to accept implants they don't not cause any health detoriation whatsoever.
I hear if you use titanium it is not a poisoning metal. Also, I have a full mouth of implants, very expensive, but no infections, digestive problems. no doubt, its an individual thing. :)
@@Gina-if1ek Can you tell me how many years you had implant? Sorry because i will do it but i m worried
@@jennydong3187 I've had them for 4 yrs. I've haven't had any issues. All Implants are stainless steel. :)
I just had 2 done today myself. That was all I needed. But I have to say yours look great :D
How much did it cost?
What is the best dental insurance to use to get dental implants
Costs $40,000 in Dallas, TX. I'm getting all on four implants on March 31. Thanks for the info. You answered a lot of my questions.
For Top & Bottom???
Yes, for extractions, top and bottom. To "fix" what I have would cost almost as much and I'm tired of loose, cracked fixed bridges.
i am going to get dentures july 7th and will be filming a start to finish documentary for my youtube channel
Sorry,to ask but do you have a full set. I have my temp all on four and was surprised that I only have 12 teeth. Do I we back miler on the permeate set? How is eating can u true eat any thing. Candy, apples corn on cob .. Please answer"
why did you need a bridge as I thought implants worked individually whereby the new porcelain tooth is secured each with a titanium screw so no need for bridge work
+staypress As she said at the beginning of this particular video, there are different methods of implants.
How do you keep your teeth clean? Free from ice tea or coffee stains. My caps and crowns are stained.
How long did it take to get an appointment with Dr. Golpa? And what exactly was the full cost fir your procedure? I'm sorry if this has already been answered. I have sent Dr. Golpa an email but have not received a response yet.
Never mind I think I just read that you won them. =)
how much did you spent for implant after dentures. You think it would be a good idea to have complete denture on the top jaw and two or four implant on the lower jaw
Thank you for this video. I am having full dental implants top and bottom jaws and this video has relieved my anxieties about the procedure and the end result thank you so much.
how was your experience n life after implants? does it affects in routine life
Haveing same thing done, its good to get the answers to questions i had thanks
I don't think the relines with these should be anywhere near as frequent as relines with dentures.
whate is the cost of no prep veneer
did you read up on the implants is it safe to have that metal in your mouth I know that fillings have mercury so I was wondering if you thoroughly investigated those.
My mental health is not strong enough for months of recovery either.
i HAVE WATCHED ALL YOUR VIDEOS BECAUSE i AM CONSIDERING IMPLANTS. Thank you for posting .
Donna :D
They look great I have partials right now wanting to get implants.
on a scale of 1 to 10 10 being the worst how bad is the pain after implant?
great job on explaining the experience of dental implants
Ok can I ask you a kinda stupid question.. Did your gums bleed when they were getting used to the bridge.. I have a bridge in my mouth and half of it broke so I replaced half and it never fit the same so I'm going to replace the other half but I'm super scared.. Please if u could write some words of encouragement....,,,right now I have a temporary that feels so bulky and I just been feeling so ugly.... I go on on Monday....,
what was the cost of the implants?
You look beautiful. No one would ever guess these weren't your natural teeth. This Dr. Golpa is obviously very talented. How many teeth are there in total? And are they porcelain? Thanks.
What is this implant procedure called?
i know you are getting so many questions i am getting some soon i went thru the same thing but how long was the process takes i am very nervous i never had anything like this done before
$ 45000?!
OMG, i dont think i have that much of money but i need implants.
how many days did it take him to let's say 'extract a teeth and insert an implant' ? or did you go home in between procedures, toothless ?
Hopefully Im having this done in Sept.
Well it has been 1 week from yesterday that i had my 6 implants done on top and I'm still really swollen and i can't wear my dentures yet thank you so much for the videos they are great and thats why i have implants now Thanks so much
Mark Horton Saw your comment on you tube and wondered how you are doing now 1 yr later of getting 6 implants on top.
Michelle Parker send reply to t1218b@aol.com
What are you looking at to your left???
Ladd Dental Group in Indiana provides excellent care at a great price. I highly recommend checking them out!
Don,t use to much salt washes. Salt raises blood pressure not a nice feeling when you go mega dizzie
Is it easy to eat like an apple? does it feel like normal teeth? thanks
hello, thinks for your video, I'm actually looking to do implant, can you please help me where to go ?
Can you chew all types of gum? or just Freedent gum? Does the gum stick to your implants?
Hey there kalinjax... I just want to tell you that I am having the all on four done very soon. I am only getting the top done bc I cannot afford both. I am so scared of the procedure I will be getting it done in an OR because of my medical history... Just Thursday I had to choose a size shape and color! Never thought I would be shopping for all of that...Lol
Oh yea and the gum color Yikes Do you remember what color and all that that you chose?? Thank you
Do you know of any one who has gone to Costa Rica to have this done? Apparently it cost a lot less then in the U.S. Less insurance for the Dr,s. But safety?.???
How does it feel to bite compared to with ur real teeth? Is it uncomfortable.
You look really Great. I need 4 implants. Your teeth look natural, white and beautiful! Thanks for the helpful video. The music is Classy and it's just the right volume!! Most people have it too loud.
Ha, thank you! Good luck!
Just one more thing. If it's not too personal how were you able to pay for it. I can't afford it and I heard that its $2000. for each tooth. I am trying to figure out a way but I don't have that kind of income. Thanks.
MICHAEL DAVIS
if u travel around out of country. itll be cheaper for all 4
Please please please .. can you do a detailed and extensive video on how to take floss and use a waterpik to take care of your implants ...
Help!!
Hi Beverly so the bone Kraft didnt Work?
Nice music in the background! You are a great speaker. What is the name of the dentist you went to?
Did you get am allograft before you did implants?
Thank you SO much for sharing your experience. I want to know if they feel like dentures without a palette or if they feel like your natural teeth. I know that they don't have nerves so I don't mean the feeling of hot and cold; I mean are they thick like dentures or thin like natural teeth? Would you say they are more like having a permanent denture or more like having natural teeth? Thanks for reading.
+Sarah King Hi Sarah, how are you doing since you had your All-on-4 procedure with us back in September? Keep in touch.
+Drs. Steven and Bridget Hurst I can be contacted at jameswilder1027@gmail.com
Oh, wow. I know how frustrating it is. BEYOND frustrating. Hope you get some lasting solutions, soon!
I really needs these :/ can you eat candy and not get cavities with these?
Nesha Britwood lol
For me, we actually had my dentures so he picked out teeth as similar as he could to those. If you still have your teeth, he could use them for comparison, or denture teeth. If you have nothing, you could use a picture of yourself. If all else fails, it's a guessing game. There are also wax try-ins so that you can be sure what you are getting will look right on you. Hope that helps!
Thank you. You do so much for us. You are truly a pioneer being a beautiful young woman who helps denture wearers *come out of the closet." So informative and so brave. xoxo
Wait food gets stuck under the implants???
Yep. A LOT of food gets stuck in them. I'd go nuts if I didn't have a waterpick
My mom had that happen. She lost her four bottom front teeth. When the food got caught she developed an infection.
Is dental implants hurts?
so what do I ask the dentist for? how much did you pay for them? how long did it take to get them, what was the process to get fitted for them?
That is the only material that is known to stay in bone without causing an infection and becoming loose
Question: can you eat carrots? Celery? Hard nuts like almonds. What about with the old-style removable dentures?
Zirconia is also faster in healing in the bone.
Paul Erricson very cool, good to know :-)
Paul Erricson
I thought zirkonium is rather soft?
Teeth are about as hard as iron
+Paul Erricson I have read that the implant itself can be made of zirconia. It is an alternative for people who are allergic or sensitive to titanium. There is a test that can be done to determine if you are allergic. I plan on having this test done before I spend that kind of money on implants.
Your video was informing. I see that several people have asked you how much this cost you. Why aren't you giving them an answer? We would just like to know so we can see if it is something we can afford or we move on. Could you please let us know the cost or explain why you can't?
She won them in A concert. They were free.
The price for implants in the US is abhorrently ridiculous.
Steve Andrews $1100 in Los algodones in mexico !!!much cheaper and great work. lots of Americans and Canadians go there
Steve Andrews
all on 4 lasts for 10 years is what I have been reading . so what happens after the 10 years? do you have them redone or do you have to go back to dentures or do they move the implants to a new area in the mouth . still cost so much money!
Yes you have to have redone. Whatever you paid at the time you got them. In ten years you will be spending the same amount of money again. These are not like natural teeth. They are A more expensive version of dentures.
