She has a unique penetrating clarity to her voice that makes it perfect for metal. Without having to boost her volume she can still be heard through the heavy drums, bass and guitars. Rondo is easily in my top ten BABYMETAL songs. Su performed three solos that night. She did 'No Rain, No Rainbow', followed by 'Akatsuki' earlier in the set. Yui and Moa (as Black BABYMETAL) performed two songs without Su. And there were ten songs with all three members on stage. That Black Night Budokan concert from March, 2014 is still one of my favorite BABYMETAL shows of all time.

Add Su-metal's voice to make it even harder. Add a piano playing classic waltz tabs for a twist. You end up with this.

People who watch a couple Babymetal videos and assume that they don't showcase the musicians too are wrong. I love Catch Me If You Can. It's both really heavy and really cute. It's the essence of Babymetal to me. Or at least Babymetal 2010-2018. Now they're in their 20's and it's serious business :)

I know it isn't what you're used to, but take it from me (a person who has similar musical tastes), this band is one you really wanna get into. Their music collectively speaking is just epic. There's something for everyone in their discography. A song with the closest thing to a Blegh is Megitsune (has a breeee). I think you'll really dig that song both instrumentally and vocally. As for this song, it's a solo song with only Su in it. There's a few of those, and there's also other songs with only Moa and Yui. It keeps things fresh imo and makes listening to their albums much more interesting. Side note: I've never heard you say "fuck" so many times in a video 😂😂😂

There is a pretty good live version with the American Kami band doing a different instrumental intro. It sounds better than some pro shot versions of the song and none of those are able to be shown on youtube.

Su does about 4-5 power ballads solo. This song really shows off the band and SU's voice, I think that is her best long note, I like the way the camera shakes during it. "Catch Me If You Can" and Distortion has some growling.

Yoooo!! You finally reacted on Rondo! This is one of my top Babymetal songs. This is also their darkest song lyrically. Also to give answers to your questions, Rondo of nightmare is a Babymetal White performance, which is basically a Suzuka solo performance. There's also a Babymetal Black which is a performance by the 2 other members, Moa and Yui (yui is out of the band now). My favorite song actually is called Akatsuki, which is another Suzuka solo. I saw them in 2017 ,Suzukas freestyle in the song Karate was 20 seconds I will never forget, she went higher in pitch instead of lower like most,I could see tears on people face along with my own after that. I saw Evenescence there in 2003 . Never thought I would see someone sing like Amy.....The power in Suzuka's voice is astonishing.

Hey man, want to take it up a notch in terms of heavyness? On dailymotion is a killer quality clip of the following song : Babymetal - Sis anger (live in Tokyo dome). Only the two side-singers are performing on that song, the lead singer is not singing the song
this is one of their more technically difficult songs due to the timing changes. Su gets a few solos, and the other two also have a few without Su. All three are accomplished singers, but Su likely has the most powerful voice in metal today. Metal Galaxy pretty much showed one thing - the song writers for this band have yet to really master her voice.
Sometimes a song with the full band and Sumetal hitting her vocals, just doesn't need the other members. Let them rest, this is a technical showcase less than a showman's showcase.
I don't think people know how technically hard this song is to play, not counting the intro, which is in itself very showing how good the band is. This is a 3/4 timed metal waltz. The beat pattern and timing alone is done to superb quality. Yes, to be transparent some of thr vocal effects were done in post, but all of the instrumental parts were never touched.

If you haven't already you should definitely check out Ningen Isu! They're an amazing japanese heavy metal band that's been operating since 1987. One of their largest influencers for their music is Black Sabbath. A good intro song is also their most popular one; Heartless Scat.

First of, I'm legitimately entertained by your reactions, I love baby metal myself and it's always fun to watch people doing their first reaction videos as you can tell how it instantly places them outside of their usual elements. Secondly, how have you done so many reactions to Baby Metal but somehow not done their 1997 Headbanger live show yet, out of all reaction videos i've seen from various youtubers it's always headbanger that gives me the biggest smirk on my face. I'm a little sad it wasn't your first song experienced, but hey what can you do. You should totally check it out regardless! Just make sure you wear some headphones that can handle headbanging! This is a solo song. SuMetal has something like 3 of them. MoaMetal has at least one. Yui had one too. And both Yui and Moa had a duo song - Sis Anger.
people said that babymetal will be disbanded in Oct.10 this year and Su will start her new bands. So, the chance that we can see babymetal's live is so limited.

I saw them in 2017 ,Suzukas freestyle in the song Karate was 20 seconds I will never forget, she went higher in pitch instead of lower like most,I could see tears on people face along with my own after that. I saw Evenescence there in 2003 . Never thought I would see someone sing like Amy.....The power in Suzuka's voice is astonishing.

From Japan, really glad to hear Canadian English. I’d been in Markham for 5yrs and miss the life in Canada.
this is one of their more technically difficult songs due to the timing changes. Su gets a few solos, and the other two also have a few without Su. All three are accomplished singers, but Su likely has the most powerful voice in metal today. Metal Galaxy pretty much showed one thing - the song writers for this band have yet to really master her voice.
Sometimes a song with the full band and Sumetal hitting her vocals, just doesn't need the other members. Let them rest, this is a technical showcase less than a showman's showcase.

I don't think people know how technically hard this song is to play, not counting the intro, which is in itself very showing how good the band is. This is a 3/4 timed metal waltz. The beat pattern and timing alone is done to superb quality. Yes, to be transparent some of thr vocal effects were done in post, but all of the instrumental parts were never touched.

If you haven't already you should definitely check out Ningen Isu! They're an amazing japanese heavy metal band that's been operating since 1987. One of their largest influencers for their music is Black Sabbath. A good intro song is also their most popular one; Heartless Scat.

First of, I'm legitimately entertained by your reactions, I love baby metal myself and it's always fun to watch people doing their first reaction videos as you can tell how it instantly places them outside of their usual elements.
Secondly, how have you done so many reactions to Baby Metal but somehow not done their 1997 Headbanger live show yet, out of all reaction videos i've seen from various youtubers it's always headbanger that gives me the biggest smirk on my face. I'm a little sad it wasn't your first song experienced, but hey what can you do. You should totally check it out regardless!
