Frost is such a reliable pick as you head into Steel Path content. With his Icy Avalanche Augment - he can multitask and be a force of reckoning, removing Enemy Armour but also Protecting himself and his allies. So, here are 2 builds that allow you to switch up your Frost playstyle depending if you need to Defend Zones or Attack and Roam. Enjoy guys!
So, huh, I don't know how to write this without sounding condescending and/or rude, so I'm gonna gonna play the "English as second language" card, albeit it's technically third. I had no idea you had a youtube channel, and because I don't like twitch, I never checked you out there. I only got to know you from a Potato stream. I'm very, VERY glad youtube recommended this to me!! What an amazing video...! I've been trying to find a Frost build that uses Biting Frost, because it just sounds fun to me, and you delivered it. Haven't tried the Voruna subsume build, because I didn't have her subsumed, but this video made me farm the last piece I needed for her, and I'll be able to try that build tomorrow. I already tried the Dispensary build, and it felt amazing. I'll admit I miss Nourish (from the build I was using), but because of your Trumna and Shroomy builds, I don't really miss it too much. I've already subscribed, and I'll be sure to check other videos. Can't wait for future builds as well! Lastly, if I may call you this just this one time: thank you, Clarke!!
This is a great explainer--I still don't see many Frosts in base steel path, which seems weird to me. On my own builds, I like nourish as a subsume. I know it's popular, but it helps with both energy sustain and with damage.
Galvanized Aptitude doesn't not scale radial damage sadly, only the direct shots, in that case Serration does the job if you want to focus on big fire balls :)
There's a "known" Galvanized GunCO spreadsheet (that's the name)that's tells you how effective Aptitude mods are and how they affect the gun docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1ryemX4Y2vWy9LjuJ355bWVNuBhzLaHTTFqPeTNto9RA/htmlview#gid=0docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1ryemX4Y2vWy9LjuJ355bWVNuBhzLaHTTFqPeTNto9RA/htmlview#gid=0
@@NoSympathyyCA1If you search for Galvanized GunCO spreadsheet you can check how the Aptitude mod affects the gun (additively/multiplicatively) and in case of explosive how much it affects in % (explosive is not the same as radial)
Minor Clarification, GunCO can scale radial damage, so it's more accurate to say that it doesn't scale radial hits. Hitscan weapons with a Radial Component will have their radial damage scaled on targets that were directly hit (but not enemies who were only hit with the aoe). thus, the trumna primary fire actually does benefit from gunCO
25:01 Nami Solo can get 100% follow through with its evolutions, making it a great candidate for Melee Vortex, rather than building for Melee Influence. Vortex is also easier to mod for since all animal companions can prime magnetic with Bell Ringer + Magnetic Strike
30:13 from what I can glean online, Avalanche has two components to its cast animation, and only the first is impacted by cast speed. Since the second part cannot currently be made faster by any means, it's not worth over-investing in cast speed.
Arcane avenger procs of overguard damage, i use it with rhino (and dante noctua build) all the time, no need for combat discipline. (edit i watched the vid further, you adressed that, maybe not a bad thing preparing for when it doesnt anymore) Thats tech for the prime sure footed timmys. I run frost with tenet glaxion and nourish, quite similar to your lycath build.
Waiting for Warframe 1999 to drop and see what new Mods & Arcane it holds first - then, update any final builds that include anything new and boom, we ship lots of builds out! Nyx & Ember are already on the list. I'm loving a new Ember build I've been using lately, so stay tuned for it
@@iakovospiperis9111 DE stated it was a one time offering and they usually always keep to their word. Just like excal prime, lato prime and skana prime. Not reducing the research cost of the hema for dojo’s. I could go on. Hope is all good. But you know the saying. You can wish and hope in one hand, and poop in the other and see which gets filled first. Anyways, GL to ya😊
@xnbk-yotiex5247 I'm aware about excal prime and his weapon gear, but since ember and future heirloom skins will be available for all players in the market, it would only be fair if they bring the older ones back. That's my logic for this topic... People were furious about it last year also.
Clarke, sorry didn't know how to reach out to you properly, Old Canadian guy again, You remember me Geriatric Gamer Fixablevermin79. Anyhow, 7 Amp Prisms for Affinity. How would you recommend building these puppies and effectively using resources, yet keeping good usable items?
Hey Brian. Not 100% sure what you're asking, forgive me. I can rattle off an answer here, but it's based on the assumption that I "think" I understand your question - so if it doesn't answer it, my bad. Amp Prisms for Affinity? Ideally you can build them anyway you want to, that's the concept as they are "Modulars". So whatever stats you prefer, you can whack them on with a Prism-Scaffold-Brace combination. If you're just looking to train them and get Affinity out of them, don't overspend your resources. You can do combinations like "1-1-1" then "2-1-1" then "3-1-1" etc. Then when you have levelled that Prism, you can sell the build if you prefer as they require Slots - but it's rare to use more than 2 or 3 Amps in general. To explain "2-1-1" for example; this means, that, IN ORDER; The first number = Prism (So it's the 2/7 Prism available) The second number = Scaffold (So it's the 1/7 Scaffold available) The third number = Brace (.. you get the idea hopefully) Most people these days will play with a combination named: 1-7-7 or 7-7-7. A Raplak or Klamora Prism works great. The Propa Scaffold is nice and strong. And the Certus Brace offers a 20% Critical Chance increase. So try to aim for that. And all of the others Prisms and builds you get along the way, don't overthink or over spend resources. I hope this helps. And for future contact, please try my Discord or Twitch Channel, it'll be easier to reach me or someone else with plenty of experience! Cheers
as a frost main for 10 years this a good build but i think you over thought it. i know its over used but nourish would solve your energy problem also arcane battery with his lvl of armor and temp armor gain youll grow energy you can just throw away. i just run umbral fiber 1 armor shard i sit at 684 energy with archon flow as well. i even use blind rage never out of energy
If Nourish is what you want to add in, you can. There is no overthinking here, it's just a simple yet effective build. Options are variety and variety is good, Nourish dominates. Lycath's synergizes for a good cause, it's nice to see a method to showcase it's effectiveness

Your build is unbalanced, has excess, can still refine.
This is an amazing synergistic build. Great work dude!

Yo, you gave very good stills for powers 1-3, all of a sudden #4 sucks and we can't stop the vid to read the description.
Firstt❤. I have been contemplating buying grendel for plat, might get frost instead.

Love it

Cold Snap Viessa?

2. Stahlta nuke
3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2.
punch through locked out?
Yo, you already show your Viral/heat build for trumna? i need!!!
Can you do vids for the underdogs.. like nyx, banshee, and ember

welp
It won’t come back.

Why not using Nourish?
It's explained in the video?
@NoSympathyyCA1 sorry didn't catch that on the video, my bad
Sometimes i cry at night knowing i cant get the Frost or Mag heirloom skin
