This is my favorite Album of the Year! Saw this Band twice this year and both have been the best concerts I've ever went to. Shades of Sorrow showcases the band's immense talent for crafting heavy, melodic, and emotionally charged music. With their impeccable musicianship, powerful vocals, and well-crafted songwriting, Crypta has delivered an album that is sure to be remembered as a modern classic in the realm of death metal.
Yes! Fantastic record! Top notch song writing, riffs, grooves, vocal work, guitar solos, drumming, and overall theme. Side note on the piano; Luana wrote the melody, then they had a pianist (Pablo Greg) arrange and perform the piece. The three pieces (beginning, middle, end) portray the state of a person as they travel through the various emotional pain that is discussed at length through out the entire record by Fernanda's lyrics. Very cool idea, and I think the first two pieces set up the songs that follow, then the third is a nice closure to the whole work. The "Lord of Ruins" video is symbolic of this journey of pain. Very well thought out. Go Crypta!

Agreed, definitely a Top 10, maybe even Top 5 album of 2023 for me! I pre-ordered the splatter vinyl with the slipmat and it's worth it! The mat is very good quality - the print on it looks great, and the vinyl itself is stunning in person! One of my favourite items in my collection now!
i have been to a nervosa concert and them women are great performers. well... and thats it. I don't even understand, how they get this much rep. the music is nothing special at all. Produced and promoted well. But for me, there's nothing taking me away. I don't even have big expectations on extreme music. It just has to move me and have good singwriting, good riffs, good build, something exciting. Musically it doesn't catch me. Never listened to any fernanda realated stuff Since years. They're awesome people, so kind. i mean there's tons of death thrash out there. u'll be never able to reinvent the wheel. Who can beat mighty hatesphere or the crown. wont happen. there's another band, eyeconoclast, death thrash from italy. Well, Brazilian stuff since sarcophago not catching me up

This is my favorite album of the year. I liked the first album a lot but this one is instant-classic level.
