I think it's because it's so motionless, your eye just doesn't notice it in the shadows. Also it's the TV corner they can't see well because of the lighting issue they talked about at the beginning.
Yeah, okay, I was looking to see if anyone else posted a comment about it XD. Yeah I was just sitting there saying to myself "There is a man... There is a MAN THERE"
Best part is at 46:00 when Dan asks "Is that pole shorter?" out of desperation to find an anomaly and Arin circles the pole with the mouse cursor, meaning that both of their eyes (and most likely Allie's too) were staring at the object that was just in front of the intruder.
4:00 Master Spoompls... I'm inclined to point out that there are brightness settings. There is a 95% probability it'll make it easier to see anomalies you previously couldn't see hidden among the shadows.
Has anyone noticed that what Dan predicts something will scare him inevitably happens? Between 3 minutes and 45 seconds, with an average of 2 minutes most of the time. 😱 There was an intruder on the Outside camera when Dan talked about the shovel... but neither he or Aron noticed. And then, talked about the snowman's eventual frown, which never came. I think Ross should get in on this, it'd be funny hearing his australian accent come out when something really... "unusual" happens that freaks Dan out. 🤣
as someone who is also absolutely horrified at the concept of missing something, yet does not have an attention span long enough to notice or remember anything, I must say I literally ADORE these videos
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The best Game Grumps episodes are when the two of you are having fun together. The racing games, chess/board games, this, old school games. Whatever it is or however many times you play it, when you two are both genuinely having fun, it makes for some of my favorite content.
i'm laughing so hard rn! the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding activity is something i do with my counseling kiddos to get them calm and centered with their surroundings. hearing it in the context of observation duty is not what i was expecting, but i am so entirely here for it. :)
I hope your kiddos aren't eating paintings like Dan did. (Seriously though, I used to teach swimming to lil'uns and some of them would just try to chew on E V E R Y T H I N G)

I’ve said this before, and I will likely keep saying it: the best Grumps episodes are the ones where you two have fun playing the games. Please keep playing games that make you happy! When it’s fun for you both, it’s fun for us out here.
I absolutely love this series I've looked up some of the crazy stuff that can happen in these games and you've barely scratched the surface of things that can happen. I usually see stuff the same time you guys do but man the person standing in the corner at 47:46 was there for soooooooo long. I'm shocked you guys didn't see him. I don't know when he first appeared but he hung out for a long time. I thought for sure when Dan asked if the shovel got shorter you'd notice him since he's right above it.
I really want them to go back through the other ones and try to find the secrets there's one in 2 for sure and they might stumble upon new annomalies along the way. I'd watch them all cuz I can't get enough of these games
The discus throwing statue probably moved its head so as to look Dan directly in the eye while politely though scarily requesting some Support for the Statue drink.
To say i *LOVE* this series is a gross understatement. Please keep putting out observation duty videos!! Its always a fun challenge to find anomalies and compare which ones i see that the guys + allie didnt and vice versa. Thanks Grumps ♡
5:00 hearing Dan say "it's coming back to me now" made me think of Celine Dion and "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" Hearing Dan sing it 30 seconds later made me feel so happy
This series scratches the itch in all the right ways. GG loves it. I get to play along which immerses me in watching, cool cat Allie jumps in to save the day and you guys love playing it. I see this as an absolute win
@@siresorb1419 I agree with ya. I haven't seen that particular Louis CK bit, but remember this joke vividly. But from when in their thousands of videos? Who knows.
i speak for literally 100% of the game grumps community - keep making I'm On Observation Duty playthroughs. heck, go back and replay the old ones. idk about 3... doesn't look good. either way, they're really fun and entertaining. here are some reasons why: 1) the audience can play at home. it's not the kind of let's play you'd have in the background probably, but if we're staring at the screen; it's fun. 2) it's funny watching you guys play and dan getting scared. 3) ally is a welcomed addition. she's doing a good job with helping. 4) it's nerve-racking when we see something and none of you guys do. in a good way though. 5) we're addicted please like this if you see it and agree with me. not to feed my ego, but in an attempt that someone over at Game Grumps sees it and there's a small chance it'll influence them to play it more.
When you can't hear what Ally is saying, you get the same sensation you feel when you can hear your friend's mom in the background telling them to get off the game and do chores or something and you just have to sit and wonder if we can keep playing or not.
They kept missing the mannequin in the yard in the last run. When they hovered over the shovel handel i thought they would see it but then went right past
dan’s right! it’s so much fun to play along, it feels like hanging out w your friends! plus when something spooky happens it’s hilarious hearing your reactions
i always love watching this. so fun to play I-spy with the group. also, at 25:40 you guys didn't notice the horseshoe was missing on the wall 45:22 mannequin outside
There was a person standing in the top right corner, under the time, outside, between the stones, and the chairs were definitely straighted in the living room. Thanks for your hard work my dudes!
i was YELLING about the naked lady standing outside in the background for the last few minutes, too bad i think that's the corner of the screen they said they couldn't see well
@@tossingturnips to be fair its the first time anything has shown up beyond the fence in that cam, i had kinda thought nothing would happen that far out (at least i THINK its the first time)

most of the time i can have game grumps on while i'm eating or drawing, but when they're playing i'm on observation duty i'm glued to my screen, nothing is allowed to disrupt my field of vision
I would love to see you guys start back at the beginning and play all the way through and beat each room. These are so much fun, and one of my new favorite games.

Master Spoompls... I'm inclined to point out that there are brightness settings.
There is a 95% probability it'll make it easier to see anomalies you previously couldn't see hidden among the shadows.
i’m so glad everyone can agree on one thing: we can watch scary i-spy until the world implodes (so for like a week, tops)
Game Grumps is so comforting, best way to decompress after reading the news
I believe you mean "decompose" good sir
@SevenMillionHobbies i decompose from extrismism by listening to spoofy
@@SentinelGhost @SevenMillionHobbies Thank you guys for correcting KC here. Clearly uncultured
@@SentinelGhost While watching PeeWeeDidi in the background, of course
Absolutely, needed to just chill and watch game grumps today.
"If that statue looks up at us" everyone who saw the thumbnail smiles
Guys literally play this whenever you like, as often as you like. I'd love for this to be regular (or at least semi-regular)
Has anyone noticed that what Dan predicts something will scare him inevitably happens? Between 3 minutes and 45 seconds, with an average of 2 minutes most of the time. 😱
There was an intruder on the Outside camera when Dan talked about the shovel... but neither he or Aron noticed. And then, talked about the snowman's eventual frown, which never came.
I think Ross should get in on this, it'd be funny hearing his australian accent come out when something really... "unusual" happens that freaks Dan out. 🤣
Dan: Arin and I cannot stop playing this game
Me: Good
as someone who is also absolutely horrified at the concept of missing something, yet does not have an attention span long enough to notice or remember anything, I must say I literally ADORE these videos
9:31 Great to see Ivan is now on Observation Duty, I would trust no one else but Mr. Roople Pooples himself
44:33 Top right, freaky mannequin. I didn't notice it at first but had to skip back and it was spooky.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The best Game Grumps episodes are when the two of you are having fun together.
The racing games, chess/board games, this, old school games. Whatever it is or however many times you play it, when you two are both genuinely having fun, it makes for some of my favorite content.
35:51 YES I WAS SO HOPING YOU'D SEE THIS ONE HAHAHAHAHA
i'm laughing so hard rn! the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding activity is something i do with my counseling kiddos to get them calm and centered with their surroundings. hearing it in the context of observation duty is not what i was expecting, but i am so entirely here for it. :)
I hope your kiddos aren't eating paintings like Dan did.
(Seriously though, I used to teach swimming to lil'uns and some of them would just try to chew on E V E R Y T H I N G)
1st game
18:05 the entire living room wall changed
20:21 the vase in the back of the living room disappeared
2nd
43:27 Books on top of the tall cabinet in the living room
44:33 Mannequin on the far right outside
47:02 the sofas in the living room are aligned
I’ve said this before, and I will likely keep saying it: the best Grumps episodes are the ones where you two have fun playing the games. Please keep playing games that make you happy! When it’s fun for you both, it’s fun for us out here.
Honestly I love when Allie shows up in these. She's got such a fun energy that really matches them, I'm happy whenever she's in a video!!
I just wish Allie could be formally included in theses episodes, she's carrying the team!
Super weird she was mic'd for one sentence then completely inaudible for the rest of the ep.
I thought for sure when Dan asked if the shovel got shorter you'd notice him since he's right above it.
last time Dan said that they basically couldn't see anything in the top right part of the screen, so it might be because of that
It’s safe to say the lovelies love watching this game, it’s fully interactive and their reactions are incredible.
46:06
When the shovel is more appealing to the eye than the figure standing in the distance behind it xD
I really want them to go back through the other ones and try to find the secrets there's one in 2 for sure and they might stumble upon new annomalies along the way. I'd watch them all cuz I can't get enough of these games
11:06 - you have bear fists ? My mind immediately went to that reference.
46:02 They keep missing the mannequin past the fence on the top right outside, happened last video too.
probably related to Dan saying the top right part of the screen is too dark/glared to see for the most part
39:46 "That's botulism" I appreciate the educated joke, thank you sir
Always on board to see more of these and their freakouts.
We are days away from season two of the power hour and I cannot contain myself
3:42 I don't know why but Dan saying "uh oh" got me so much and I couldn't stop laughing.
When did Arin turn into a Canadian? He’s saying, “eh?” at the ends of his sentences A LOT.
5:00 hearing Dan say "it's coming back to me now" made me think of Celine Dion and "It's All Coming Back To Me Now"
Hearing Dan sing it 30 seconds later made me feel so happy
This series scratches the itch in all the right ways. GG loves it. I get to play along which immerses me in watching, cool cat Allie jumps in to save the day and you guys love playing it. I see this as an absolute win
Yes!! It’s here! I like how Danny’s doing less comedy band stuff! I always support creators doing what they feel like
Did something happen to NSP?
@@piperformerlycassette nope, he just went and made a new more serious band
@@D44RK_Iced_Yogs Oh good.
I'm so glad they finally got the musician intruder in the living room
The Bit Arin is looking for is a joke done by Louis C.K in one of his comedy specials. You can look it up on TH-cam to see I'm sure it's there!
It is! Just search Louis ck wizard of oz
Mandela effect
Pretty sure I remember seeing this joke in a game grump compilation
@@siresorb1419 I agree with ya. I haven't seen that particular Louis CK bit, but remember this joke vividly. But from when in their thousands of videos? Who knows.
Reminds me a bit of Ed Wynn, and Alan Tudyk's copying him for Wreck-It Ralph's King Candy
@35:51 I was not sober when I saw this. Was laying in bed watching and it absolutely ruined me for a good solid 5 minutes LMAO
That outdoor intruder gets them every time... so hard to see it.
You mean the mannequin?
@@Stick_and_stone I'm assuming you mean the statue. No the intruder outside... top right, towards the end of the video, very easy to miss.
i speak for literally 100% of the game grumps community - keep making I'm On Observation Duty playthroughs. heck, go back and replay the old ones. idk about 3... doesn't look good. either way, they're really fun and entertaining. here are some reasons why:
1) the audience can play at home. it's not the kind of let's play you'd have in the background probably, but if we're staring at the screen; it's fun.
2) it's funny watching you guys play and dan getting scared.
3) ally is a welcomed addition. she's doing a good job with helping.
4) it's nerve-racking when we see something and none of you guys do. in a good way though.
5) we're addicted
please like this if you see it and agree with me. not to feed my ego, but in an attempt that someone over at Game Grumps sees it and there's a small chance it'll influence them to play it more.
Adding to this. The last run when they got to 5. The gun had shifted places.
Honestly, I love watching Observation Duty, and I love that Allie has to help them, its very wholesome.
I definitely remember Dan doing that Scarecrow bit on a Game Grumps episode maybe like Dead Rising or something
I just want to put this out there. I love Allie(Aly?) so much, and I'm glad she gets to join the Grumps in these play sessions
47:02 when Arin flips through, the living room chairs were facing the same direction. One of the chairs turned.
🤯
dan’s right! it’s so much fun to play along, it feels like hanging out w your friends! plus when something spooky happens it’s hilarious hearing your reactions
I love watching the Observation videos, they make my day so much better
Arin needs to henceforth talk about the Wizard of OZ on any "I'm on observations duty" videos
The dude standing outside behind the fence was me at four a.m. making soup when someone walks into the kitchen
Anomaly at 47:02 the chairs in the living room moved. Come on guys, play this one more time...pleaseeee??? :)
i always love watching this. so fun to play I-spy with the group. also, at 25:40 you guys didn't notice the horseshoe was missing on the wall 45:22 mannequin outside
Horseshoe was there
@@grasstastic9922 no it wasn't, that was the imprint of it. haven't you ever taken down an object and seen an impression of where it was?
I'll always love NSP , so seeing Dan branch out musically with Shadow Academy is just so lovely.
There was a person standing in the top right corner, under the time, outside, between the stones, and the chairs were definitely straighted in the living room. Thanks for your hard work my dudes!
i was YELLING about the naked lady standing outside in the background for the last few minutes, too bad i think that's the corner of the screen they said they couldn't see well
IKR!??! IT WAS KILLING ME THAT THEY STILL HAVENT NOTICE IT!!! AHHHH!!!😤😤😂😂
Wasn't Allie supposed to be observing that quadrant??
@@tossingturnips to be fair its the first time anything has shown up beyond the fence in that cam, i had kinda thought nothing would happen that far out (at least i THINK its the first time)
Timestamp please?
@@snapslingpeavine1371 44:33 upper right corner of the screen
If I was any good at this game, I think these episodes would be almost unwatchable. I'd be too busy yelling at the screen to enjoy your banter. But because I suck at this WAY more than you guys do, it's a lot of fun!
11:09 obviously she's exercising her right to bear arms.
most of the time i can have game grumps on while i'm eating or drawing, but when they're playing i'm on observation duty i'm glued to my screen, nothing is allowed to disrupt my field of vision
I am unable to be sick of this game. It's such a great backseat game.
here with some love for Allie! she vibes so well and always fits right in I love to hear her chiming in
More observation duty? As them totally lit gamers would say, “Let us commence forth.”
I will literally never get tired of you guys playing this game 💗💗 it’s so fun to play along with you and when Danny screams it’s so funny every time
"That f**king baby needs to be something else." Dan Avidan, 2022
I read this comment as soon as he said that 😳
Danny's in ANOTHER band?!! And Shoocharu animates it??!?!?! HECK YEAH!
I would love to see you guys start back at the beginning and play all the way through and beat each room. These are so much fun, and one of my new favorite games.
This is one of my favorite Grump series so far, I love this game and I love watching y’all play it ✨
