It's a suuuuper convoluted rich religious weirdo house with complex carpets, wallpaper, decorations, creepy religious quotes, books, gameroom, convoluted 1950s kitchen..no joke like 800 things in each room and there's 7 rooms..and yeah it's 90% totally minute changed and a few huge ones as usual hahaha. The entire screen is details, vibrant carpet patterns, almost every room alone could be a whole game. Can't wait to see their reaction to it 🤣

I feel like this ghost wasn't being malicious so much as trying to do its damn job. Taking out the trash, restocking the shelves, even helpfully getting a spoon for the drink in the breakroom. And it's not until this Anomaly Team comes along and starts messing everything up that the ghost has to send in a demonic man in the Cold Flesh isle to tell them to knock it off, damn it.

Not only is this game extremely engaging and fun for the audience, but it finally gives us more Allie, who deserves her own Observation Duty special grumphead intro.
Facts, I haven’t watched much grumps but Observation duty has brought me back and I want….no, I NEED MORE, Allie is a great addition; she adds another pair of eyes and she’s funny too which adds to it.

Honestly the fact that most of the anomalies are so whatever makes them way more threatening, like seeing a scary guy is obviously gonna be scary. He’s got bad intentions and that’s obvious. But when there’s just an extra bottle? Way scarier, that’s like psychological warfare. What’s their goal in that scenario? Why add a bottle? Is this some sort of reality warping thing causing stuff to pop in and out of reality? Universes merging? The implications are way more threatening then just some mugger. Weird shaped intruders are scarier too, like really large men or ones where the camera zooms in because it makes them otherworldly
The background music the editors put over the silence while they're searching for anomalies is excellent. I'd totally have that on in the background while I'm drawing or just walking around.
I actually notice the same anomaly twice that you all missed both times... in the Produce on the post to the left of the man and woman picture above where the floating fruit was a VERY faint handprint can appear I saw it both times you lost... it's one of the hardest anomalies to spot because it's so faint

Bounce between 3:14 and 15:57 and you should be able to see the slight difference. That was a mean one.

It's so faint and non-descript I don't know how anyone would ever notice without flipping back and forth. Even side-by-side I probably wouldn't catch it. Maybe YT compression makes it worse (just smudges it) and it'd be clearer in-game? Edit: Flipping back and forth some more, it looks like that whole corner is just more shadowed slightly. It’s interesting how the way the grumps have set up playthroughs of this game keeps it fresh for them and us as a challenging experience; normally I’d want them to just keep playing each level to completion like I’d imagine Markiplier would being one guy, but this is better for my adult brain

I LOVE observation duty. There's always something I don't notice and something the grumps see that make me go oh! I missed that! Such a great game idea and the more people playing with you the better.
I realized something in round 2 that might help you guys out if you try this again and of course my fellow lovelies who attempt this level. The items on the shelves aren’t individual objects but the group of them is one object. At least as far as the games code is concerned. So you don’t need to be looking for 1 missing bottle or 1 new pineapple but shifting groups and unexpected items in bagging area. 😉 So, much like working at a real store, if you just memorize the objects by group of what goes on each aisle you’ll probably do much better.
One of the absolute cruelest anomalies is a handprint or smudge or something that I just barely noticed to the left of the picture with the couple in Produce. So, to the left of the aforementioned picture, in the central-middle area between the two black lines (very slightly offset to the right of dead center within that general rectangle), you can just barely see a grayish smudge against the white of the wall, but it's hard to tell due to the static. It's incredibly hard to see, but if you bounce back and forth between 3:14 and 15:57, you can just make out the difference. That shit is agony.

I couldn't tell what you guys missed in the first run at all... Second run, though, 21:22 bottles on left, second from top shelf, moved closer to camera. *wow, they got it by chance, again! 33:49 shelf on right, second from bottom, the jugs to the left of the trigger spray hydrogen peroxide bottles (I guess that's what those are) disappeared. Besides the picture at the end, I couldn't tell what the 3rd anomaly was before they got their fourth.
I learned from a separate commenter that in the produce section a faint handprint appeared to the left of the picture of the couple. According to the other commenter, it caused them to lose in both attempts. I barely noticed it during the 2nd attempt and I was actively looking for it. So I definitely do not blame them for missing it

So, to the left of the aforementioned picture, in the central-middle area between the two black lines (very slightly offset to the right of dead center within that general rectangle), you can just barely see a grayish smudge against the white of the wall, but it's hard to tell due to the static. It's incredibly hard to see, but if you bounce back and forth between 3:14 and 15:57, you can just make out the difference. That shit is agony.

I learned from a separate commenter that in the produce section a faint handprint appeared to the left of the picture of the couple. According to the other commenter, it caused them to lose in both attempts. I barely noticed it during the 2nd attempt and I was actively looking for it. So I definitely do not blame them for missing it
