  • Traxxas trx4 high trail. Bashing and rock climbing to test its climbing limits and give y’all my honest review on whet I think about it along the way. Overall, the truck is pretty amazing for being a bum stock truck. I love Traxxas I know a lot of people bash them because yes you can build a faster better comp crawler or trophy truck, but best out-of-the-box bang for your buck getting into a sport. This is an amazing toy.

I love mine. This things is a monster with its clearance the portal axels. It’s so much fun, one of the best RTRs you can buy!

There are times that I want to cut the back end off. Sometimes the front end for getting hung up! But all and all it is a very good crawler right out of the box. Thanks for sharing.

They are really surprising right out of the box. Traxxas did a very good job with this one. I have the red and have abused the crap out of it. Keeps coming back for more. Really happy with my first crawler

9 mm hex drive helps with the rub and brass on the axles helps alot running a 2300 kv Fusion brushless in mine it`s awesome how it improves everything

Can you do a review on the sledge? Talk about what breaks. You’ve been harder on yours than anyone else I’ve seen.

Noob to trailing and crawling....can you explain when and why one would or wouldn't want the ability to enable/disable locking diff?

So in real cars a open diff extends tire wear and makes the turning radius much smaller same idea here besides the wear. on concrete the trx4 with diff locked turns over easier also it don’t turn as sharp because one of the two tires is not gripping (normally the inside tire) which causes the inside tire to loose traction on turns thus making corners harder to navigate with a locked diff but in rc car it’s just a cool feature! I mean lockable diffs on the fly is pretty cool

Terrain was way out of scale for a 10th scale truck keep it real.. I have the Chevy and the Ford and went to 1.9 Tire and Wheel don't get any Tire rub now

I bet thinner hex nuts would help out with rubbing. Mine doesn’t rub bad at all tbh
